I've put off writing this letter, hoping against hope that circumstances would reverse, and I ould get hundreds of new people, etc. :) Alas, here it goes.

I'm not going to be working my Stampin' Up! business any longer. Until I can't - which, at this point, should be the end of the first quarter - I can place orders. However. I will no longer be planning classes or actively seeking new customers.

I didn't come to this decision lightly. I don't feel it's fair to you to have to cancel things at the last moment because of my health or the health of another of my family. It's happened too much recently, and I can't guarantee that it will get anything but harder.

I hope you'll continue to keep in touch with me! You're an important part of my life, and Stampin' Up! has been on of the best and most stable parts of the past 18 years. Until I can't, I can continue to place orders for you. :)

Today. I'm gonna basically unbox it, and show you the six I did exactly like the instructions - I don't have that many kids in my life, so I don't need twenty! :D

Here, I've peeled back the tissue paper it comes wrapped in the box in, and removed the Stampin' Spot and the stamp set. What you see on the bottom is the instruction flyer, with a full-color finished product photo. SO cute!

Wrapped along with the instructions is EVERYTHING you see here. SO much fun stuff. See the printed treat bags?!?!?

And here are my six. My personal taste? I don't like to use all the twine and ribbon. It starts to look cluttered - but I do like it on these!

What do you think?

Well, dear friends, I know it's been a VERY long time. Time and events have conspired against me! :D But I hope I'm back every now and then, now - just got a new computer, and trying to blog without having my email available at the same time is a PAIN. :D

ANYWAY. This is a card I made for a color challenge a week or so ago, but because of trying to figure out the email/blogger thing, never got to enter. :D

The challenge was with Flirty Flamingo, Daffodil Delight, and Soft Suede. (I'm sorry it doesn't have the copyright on it; I don't have that software back on my computer yet!!!

I really like the way this card turned out. It's definitely not a color combination I would have chosen, but I think it really works. :)

If you have any questions or comments, please don't hesitate to contact me! I look forward to sharing a little bit more! (You may have to prompt me; time is different for me now...)

Have a great day!! Take the time to stamp something! ♥

Here we are, at Friday - and up to THIS MONTH'S Paper Pumpkin! I like this one a lot. I've said that about every one, haven't I. :D

This month's came with that GORGEOUS card box - it's so sturdy, with an acrylic lid! - and the beautiful grosgrain ribbon tied around it. The selection of cards included "CONGRATS"" but I have a lot of those in my stash, and I don't need them as often as thank-yous and sympathy, unfortunately, so that's what I made all my cards. There are two designs of four types, so 8 cards - AND envelopes! - altogether. LOTS of die cuts, stamps, stickers, and you get to choose how you want to use them. :) I had a great time getting to partially design this Paper Pumpkin. :D

Thank you for joining me for all the Paper Pumpkin goings-on this week! I hope you enjoyed seeing finished projects. I think this subscription box is SO worth the fee!!!

ENJOY YOUR WEEKEND!!! Take time to check out Paper Pumpkin! :D
It's WEDNESDAY!!! :D I'm so glad you came back again to see this Paper Pumpkin from July!!!

Every single one of these cards came with wood details to put on the cards. Washi tape - which I used in a way new to me, so that was cool. :D

This kit came with the Stampin' Spot, the stamps, the Washi Tape, the diecuts, and everything ready to stamp on or stick on or whatever it needed for two of each design! It took me a while, because I'm used to designing my own projects - but the directions that come with the cards make it super-simple, too. :)

OK, by the time you read this, I'll have just gotten home. :) So, as it is, I'm gonna jet and finish getting ready to leave. :D
Welcome to MONDAY!!!!

Since we're leaving in the middle of last week (Sometimes, doing this scheduled blogging stuff is like a time-travel puzzle!!!!), I wanted to feature something that would be easy to show you - and BOY, is Paper Pumpkin gonna fit that bill - for you, too!!!

This is the kit, all put together MY WY, from June. DO YOU SEE HOW ADORABLE THIS IS?!?!??! I mean, look at that watermelon tissue paper inside the bag!!! Each bag comes with its own piece of that adorable tissue paper. I can eat my weight in watermelon, which is saying something! :D So give me something watermelon-themed as a CRAFT, and I am a VERY happy crafter. :D

Y'all, the kit comes with EVERYTHING you need to do the entire box - except continuing clear blocks. Your FIRST box will come with it, and from then on, that's the only thing you need to supply. I have six gift bags ready at a moment's notice, PLUS gift cards! Seriously. It doesn't get easier than Paper Pumpkin.

Don't like the way they did a project (Which I have felt a few times!)? Use the product to do your own thing! Not only does Stampin' Up!® put out a video to show how to put these together, but there are several demos who put out alternative ideas for each month's Paper Pumpkin.

If you're interested about learning more, or perhaps ordering - and there are discounts for paying for numbers of months in advance - just click on this sentence, and scroll to the bottom to Paper Pumpkin! (If you do order, please choose me as your demonstrator! :D)

OK, now back to packing and finishing my to-do lists. :D Have a wonderful day, and DO think about this Paper Pumpkin thing. It's a blast!Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3361534691655656780.post-63296565180702700752017-08-25T11:27:00.000-07:002017-08-25T11:27:17.329-07:00LABEL ME PRETTY - Card AND challenge! :D

We made it!!! :D It's FRIDAY!

Today's card is for another challenge - by the Paper Craft Crew. It was "Butterflies andDragonflies", using either one. I decided to go REALLY bold! :)

I used three different stamps from the Label Me Pretty stamp set, as well as the punch. Overachiever! :D Seriously, though, it's REALLY easy. The most difficult part? Poking all the pieces of the butterfly die out!

Ink: Daffodil Delight, Black Momento
Card Stock: Daffodil Delight, Whisper White, Basic Black, Vellum Cardstock
Additional: Sponge Dauber, Black EP, Heat Tool, Butterflies Thinlits, Dimensionals and Mini Dimensionals, Multi Purpose Glue

See?!??! It really doesn't get much simpler. My mom loved both cards this week - she adores anything YELLOW. :D

So, I'm outta here!!! I have a wedding to attend! Have a wonderful, fun weekend, and be sure to take a little time to stamp something! :)Unknownnoreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3361534691655656780.post-48526359522009166322017-08-23T05:00:00.000-07:002017-08-23T05:00:30.371-07:00LABEL ME PRETTY for Packaging!Welcome to Wednesday! :D
Isn't this ADORABLE?!?!?!? Sorry that I used retired Cherry Cobbler baker's twine on the frint of the label, but it DOES come in other colors... :D (See page 199 in the IBC.) But this is FAST packaging at its prettiest!

Of course, you don't HAVE to use this label from the stamp set - if you chose another, you could use this box for gifting LOTS of other small gifts! Quick and EASY!!!!

Ink: Cherry Cobbler
Card stock: Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler (1/2" strip all around the box)
Additioinal: Baker's Twine, Garden Green Stampin' Write Marker (difficult to see, but it's there!), Dimensionals, Multi Purpose Glue, Clear Tiny Treat Boxes

I just put some homemade fudge Mom had in the freezer into it, and hey, presto! a great little gift! :)

OK, I'm outta here - time to finish packing! :D Have a great day - and be SURE to make the time to stamp SOMEthing! :DUnknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3361534691655656780.post-28772274104192442922017-08-21T05:00:00.000-07:002017-08-21T05:00:04.562-07:00LABEL ME PRETTY Week!
P.S. HAPPY ECLIPSE DAY!!! :DUnknownnoreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3361534691655656780.post-46157846666363404102017-08-18T05:00:00.000-07:002017-08-18T05:00:11.384-07:00Carols of Christmas - Take 3!Well, here it is, Friday - and I did all three days, just as I promised. :D (That is, if Blogger posts as I have scheduled them...! :D ) I didn't mean to, but I used a retired box to do this with. I bed your pardon. :D I will try and use something more current soon... :D

SO very simple! I mixed a little clear embossing powder with Dazzling Diamonds glitter for the embossing on the ornaments all the way around the box.

Card stock: Whisper White
Ink: Versamark, Whisper White
Stamp set: Carols of Christmas
Accessories: Gold foil sheets, Stampin' Write markers (Real Red and Old Olive), Gold and clear embossing powders, Dazzling Diamonds glitter, Heat Tool, Embossing Buddy, Fast Fuse

SO simple to make great packaging! If you've got a box you want to cover, you could use Crumb Cake panels that are cut the same size as the sides of your box. I wanted simple, but elegant. And I LOVE holly! :D

Good morning! I promised I'd continue with the samples; this is one I did because I already had the stars cut from gold foil and Dazzling Diamonds glitter. I wanted to show that the Card Front Builder Thinlits could be used easily with other things - and I wanted a simple card to show off the complexity of that gold star cut. I really love how CLEAN this design is.

Card stock: Whisper White, Night of Navy
Ink: Versamark
Stamp set: Star of Light
Accessories: Starlight Thinlits, Card Front Builder Thinlits, Big Shot, White embossing powder, Heat Tool, Embossing Buddy, Dazzling Diamonds glimmer paper, Gold foil sheets, SNAIL, Mini Dimensionals

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask!!! YES, I know it's been a long time since I blogged. Turns out, I've been getting really ill for a while. I'm feeling better, and it's almost my favorite time of the year - so I'm going to try to blog a little more often. :D

As a matter of fact, my goal for this week is to get 3 posts up - all because it's the Holiday Mini preview! YOU can purchase a tiny taste of the new Mini!

Stampin' Up!® has made a video to show you a little more about this bundle...

It's a REALLY fun bundle....

And the possibilities are endless. I have, however, managed to come up with three different samples to show you. this first one is completely this bundle; be SURE and come back the rest of this week to find new samples!

Hi, y'all! :) If you're not local, you probably thought I dropped off the face of the earth. Sorry. Health, time, and yadda yadda. :D

So! Since I last posted, I celebrated my 15th anniversary with Stampin' Up! Yea, me!

But that's not what the congratulations is all about - last month, I passed a milestone with Stampin' Up! - one that has some benefit with it: I have lifetime sales of over $100,000.

Yes, a lot of it has come out of my own pocket - I keep buying new toys, even if I'm not inspired at the moment. :D But I also really love our products, and I love bundling products to save money. So I get them, and I look at them, and I share them, and tine I finally try them out. :D

ANYWAY. I'm sure that's not why you are reading this post. I'm SURE you want to know where the winning part comes in... :)

I didn't reach that sales goal by myself. YOU have helped me reach it. And I am SO blessed - if you've ever stamped with me, attempted to stamp with me :D, or purchase from me to stamp on your own - to have you in my life. Even if only virtually.

SO. Here's the winning part:

I AM GIVING AWAY TWO (2) $25 GIFT CERTIFICATES and a grand prize $50 GIFT CERTIFICATE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here are the rules:
1. You enter by leaving a comment on THIS post. It has to make sense.
2. You may enter DAILY from now until MIDNIGHT CST on 10/25/2016. Each comment MUST be different.
3. You may place an order through my business site (CLICK HERE to go!) for an extra FIVE entries for every $50 in merchandise you purchase.
4. You may schedule a party/place a party order (Sorry, November hostess, you don't get this benefit) between now and MIDNIGHT CST on 10/25/2016 for an extra 20 entries.
5. I will use a random generator online to choose our three winners.
6. I will also be giving my dedicated customers and hostesses bonus entries without their having to do anything, as long as they've ordered/hosted in the past year. THIS IS AT MY DISCRETION!!!!

So! Anyone is welcome to order; share if you wish! I hope to have a new card or something to share soon - but we're about to go on a trip. :) That's why you get TWO weeks to enter!

Thank you for being faithful, and for sticking around! :)

Happy Wednesday!

And I have a happy card for you today. This is another of the masks that come in the Happy Patterns Decorative Mask (item #138313) set. The same time I did the SHINE! card, I did this mask.I took my Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Write marker and wrote "happy" in the "happy" open area. :)

It's just a happy card. :) Wouldn't you have fun pulling this out of an envelope?

OK, I'm outta here. Have a WONDERFUL day, and be sure to make the time to stamp something! Happy Wednesday! :)

Today's card is brought to you by the Occasions Mini - specifically, the Easter Lamb stamp (item #140740).

Colors are Whisper White, Wild Wasabi, Pink Pirouette, Lovely Lilac, and Basic Gray.

Be sure to notice the large dot embossing folder - a little texture is my fave! :D

I used Stampin' Write markers to color this cutie in - or an Aquapainter. I just think he's too cute for words! :)

OK, I'm outta here! Have a wonderful day! Card - 2016 Occasions Mini & Sale-Brations Mini!

It's Wednesday again! :D Welcome Back!

Today's card is a fun one. The die cut and stamp set are from the Occasions Mini, the stencil and spray stuff are from the Idea Book, and the designer series paper (DSP, in case you've forgotten! :D) is from the Sale-A-Brations Mini!

Colors are Whisper White, Tangerine Tango, Soft Sky.

First, I took a cardfront-sized piece of card stock and the Happy Patterns Decorative Mask (item #138313 - Kathy exclaimed, "How did I miss this?!?"), and positioned them as straight as I could. :D Next, I took a Stampin' Spritzer (item #126185) filled with regular ol' rubbing alcohol and Daffodil Delight re-inker and spritzed the pattern onto the card stock. I let it dry, then cut it with the Sunburst thinlet (item #140617). I should have embossed before I cut, but I didn't. :D The "Shine" is from the Sunburst Sayings stamp set (item #140722).

I attached that to a piece of the Soft Sky Perfectly Artistic DSP (item #141021), which I got for FREE. :D My husband likes this one of a pile I made, I think because of the bright colors and the fun shape.

OK, I'm out of here! Have a wonderful week - and be sure to make the time to stamp SOMEthing!Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3361534691655656780.post-24787569040610849832016-02-10T07:00:00.000-08:002016-02-10T07:00:01.800-08:00Just For You Card - 2016 Occasions Mini & Sale-A-Brations

Welcome to Wednesday! :)

This week's card is using a stamp set and punch from the Occasions Mini, and a stamp from one of the FREE SAB sets.

Colors are Crumb Cake, Chocolate Chip, Early Espresso, and Very Vanilla.

The punch is a carry-over from the Holiday Mini; it's called the Curvy Corner Trio Punch (item #139683), and you can find it on page 31 of the Occasions Mini (link above). The distressing set I used is called Timeless Textures (item #14051), on page 29 of the Occasions Mini. The "just for you" is from the frees set BOTANICALS FOR YOU (item #141234) on page 4 of the SAB Mini (link above).

It's a fun set to distress with! There's a lot in the free set to use, too - be sure to check both catalogs out! :)
OK, I'm outta here! Have a WONDERFUL week, and be SURE to make the time to stamp SOMEthing!!!!Unknownnoreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3361534691655656780.post-14443533931446952312016-02-03T16:31:00.000-08:002016-02-03T16:33:01.644-08:00Valentine's Berry Basket

Surprise! :) I'm back again this week!

I was going to save this for next week, but if you ordered NOW, depending on where you're located, you might be able to get the supplies for this in time to make favors for Valentine's Day - which is a week from Sunday. Plus, it's SALE-A-BRATION - get something FREE for every $50 you spend!

There's NO STAMPING on this basket. It's all paper! After I cut the berry basket, I embossed it with the large dot folder. The Real Red I cut at the same time as the Whisper White - the whole thing went together quite quickly!

For card stock and filling, I'm guessing this cost me less than 75 cents to make! It's not too big; if you want to make it sturdier, you can cut some press board (or an old cereal box!) into a 2.5" square to put between the layers of the berry basket.

OK, y'all, I'm outta here. I'm going to TRY to post once a week for a while, things that are exclusive to my blog. :) Have a wonderful week - and be sure to make the time to STAMP something!Unknownnoreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3361534691655656780.post-56076735394506567292016-01-26T13:22:00.000-08:002016-01-26T13:22:00.471-08:00It's SALE-A-BRATION!!

Welcome to Monday!!! Did you have a good weekend???

Some
of you know that I'm going to be heading to Oregon again in a month,
for about a month. My stepdaughter is getting married, and we're going
to take the opportunity to take a little time on the beach. :) It's
where I love to be, and so does Kenn.

These photos are
from our trip in 2012; this is in Yachats, at our favorite beach, Smelt
Sands. I so cannot wait to get to my ocean again!!!!!!! :)

I'm
going to be planning another book for this trip. It's going to be
difficult, because I don't know if my laptop is going to be able to
travel or not. It's not doing too well. :/ But we'll see what happens!
:)

I just LOVE MDS. I sincerely wish you would play with it! I think you'd love it!! :D

Welcome to Monday! Did you have a good weekend??? Schools are still closed in much of middle Tennessee because of hazardous roads in back areas and treacherous sidewalks and ground at many of the schools. It's still cold here, so there's not a lot of natural help for de-icing! :)

I took all these pictures a week ago. It was simply beautiful, breathtaking, and dangerous. I'm so grateful to have warmth, shelter, food, and many, many things to do without going stir-crazy. :D

This was SUCH a simple page! It took me all of 10 minutes to put together, and that was mostly trying to get the lettering for my title the way I wanted it. :D I still think you need to download MY DIGITAL STUDIO for your free trial!!!! What's stopping you?!??!

Happy Weekend! :)

I don't know about you, but it's been icy/snowy and definitely WINTER here this week. I'm not complaining - it's February, and it's SUPPOSED to be winter! :) But I was ready for a little sunshine.

So, I started this card out, thinking I was going to do a white on white. But it didn't want to work that way. :)

That's the Spring Flowers texturz embossing folder (page 19 in the Occasions Mini), sponge on the raised parts and the edges with Daffodil Delight. The "thanks" is also from the Occasions Mini, the Hello You thinlits dies on page 31. The inside is stamped on a piece of Daffodil Delight, so there's lots of sunshine with this card! :)

It's pretty quick and easy. :) And bright and cheerful! :)

OK, I'm outta here! Stay safe, warm, and dry this weekend! Take some time to stamp something!Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3361534691655656780.post-45360482683712541742015-02-16T04:57:00.000-08:002015-02-16T04:57:25.358-08:00MDS Monday - Valentine's Day 2015

Happy Monday! Did you have a good weekend? Now about your weather? We're getting wintry mix here - it's cold enough to be snow, but up where the clouds are, it's warm. So we're getting ice. I'm so not going anywhere today! :D

We're not big on Valentine's around here. I've NEVER liked the day, and it's never really all it's cracked up to be. :) The best one I ever had, as a matter of fact, was in college when three friends came over and made me dinner. :D

ANYWAY. Kenn brought me home chocolate-covered strawberries - one of my faves, and these are pretty low-carb because it was thin dark chocolate, mostly! :) - and some roses from Kroger. There were four colors of roses, but this is my favorite picture that would fit in an oval. :D Super simple page, Melon Mambo and Whisper White, one stamp, one "punch", and voila! It's done. :)

OK, I'm outta here! Maybe I'll take some time to create something today. Or maybe I'll take a nap... :D

Have a wonderful day! If you're stuck at home, maybe you should take the time to download your trial version of MY DIGITAL STUDIO here and play with it for thirty days! It's SO much fun!Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0
