Owl Fancy Favor

Welcome to Wednesday! :)

Isn't this guy cute? I kind of CASEd him, but knew I wanted to use our Fancy Favor Box die as his base. All the other measurements are based from the box itself. No hand cutting for us - I LOVE MY BIG SHOT! :D

Also, I wanted to give a little more texture to his feathers; the card stock is Chocolate Chip, and we sponged with Early Espresso ink.

I didn't want to glitter his eyes, so we only did his beak. Oh, and we used the Tasteful Trim die for the "feathers".

I'd like to do something with his face piece, but this is what we did. Oh, we did this for the hostess club get-together. If you want to be a part, NOW is the time to sign up! Or get some of your friends together, and let's start your own hostess club!!!!

OK, I'm outta here. Have a wonderful day! Be SURE to make the time to STAMP something! :D

Challenge Card

Good Wednesday afternoon! Hope you're enjoying your first full week of January. :D I'm waiting on UPS to deliver my Sale-a-Bration preorder, along with my Occasions order! It can't come too soon! :D

In the meantime, I decided to do a challenge from SUDSOL - remember that demonstrators-only group? Well, the challenge for this one this week was to take a card that was in our demonstrators-only magazine, STAMPIN' SUCCESS, and tweak it to make it our own. So this is mine. :D

Card stock: Very Vanilla, Elegant Eggplant, Brushed Gold

Ink: Elegant Eggplant

Stamp sets: Word Play, Occasions Alphabet (inside)

Accessories: Tasteful Trim die, Big Shot (Yup, I STILL LOVE IT! :D), Basic Pearls and Rhinestones, clear embossing powder, Heat Tool, embossing buddy, Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder

OK, I'm outta here to stalk UPS some more. :D Have a WONDERFUL day - and be SURE to make the time to STAMP something!!!!!

You've gotta see this!

Wow, Lynn Pratt does it again! Aren't these Tasteful Trim die roses beautiful?!?! She's giving you a tutorial for FREE, too - but I'll probably also do this in a stamp camp or class in the near future. I LOVE them!
