Scrapping with KIDS: Final Post!

 HAPPY FRIDAY!

Have you had a wonderful week? Got big plans for the weekend??

This is my last Friday here for three more weeks. I will TRY to get a few posts scheduled before I leave VERY early Monday morning, but I simply can't promise - it's BUSY!!

This is also the last post to show you my sample scrapbook for my nieces and nephews. (Speaking of which, I have a NEW nephew, born Tuesday! I will be seeing the family just before we come home, and I CANNOT WAIT!!!;D ) And I think these are my two favorite ones. :D

The above is the third pocket insert. I really love doing faux tiles, and I will really, really miss the Pretty in Pink color. :( BUT, we have new ones to play with! :D When I get back, I have an open house scheduled for you to come stamp with a few new things and place orders - the new IDEA BOOK & CATALOG is LIVE today! I'll be changing the link as soon as I post this for you. :) Don't forget to check it out - or contact me to get your own book!!!

OK. I'm glad y'all enjoyed seeing my sample book; the kids did TOTALLY different things. :D They loved the Big Shot, so there were letters cut out, and butterflies - and lots of paper scraps. :D They enjoyed learning to emboss, too. :) Kids are WONDERFUL at stamping; let's get YOURS involved!

I am OUTTA here! Have a WONDERFUL weekend - and be SURE to MAKE the time to STAMP something!!!

Scrapping with KIDS: Next two pages!

HAPPY FRIDAY! How are you?? Have you had a good week? Are you startled and amazed that I'm here three days in a row again?!? :D

So, today I'm showing you the insert for the first "envelope" in our scrapbook bags and the first two-page layout. I wanted to keep it simple and fun for them. Don't forget, you can see the whole photo bigger if you click on it! And ask me questions if you want - I feel like these are pretty self-explanatory. :D

We have a hostess club get-together tonight, and I can't wait. We're going to have a wonderful time! :) I hope you have a wonderful weekend - and be sure to take the time to stamp SOMETHING! :)

It's FRIDAY!!!!!

So what better day to leave you with a fun card? :D Last night was our BIRTHDAY quick card class; we had a GREAT time! You'll be sorry you missed it. :D Don't miss another class - check out my class schedule HERE!! (You can also click on that link to SHOP ONLINE!)

So. Here's one of the cards from last night.

This "how-to" has been around the stampin' world for a while, but we've never done it. So I thought it would make an awesome kid's birthday card! Isn't it sweet? :D As you can see, it's mostly punch art. But here's the recipe!
Card Stocks: Tempting Turquoise, Whisper White, Basic Black, YoYo Yellow, Only Orange, Pacific Point, Creamy Caramel, Real Red, and Old Olive.
Stamp Set: A Little Birthday Cheer
Ink: White craft
Accessories: Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker, scallop circle punch, small oval punch, paper snips, 1/2" circle punch, 1/4" circle punch, dimensional
Isn't it FUN??? :D Ahhhh, the familiar characters a lot of us grew up with!
Have a WONDERFUL weekend!!! Take time to STAMP something - it'll make YOU feel better, and let you bless someone else! :)
I'll see you Monday!!!

So much to share, so little time! D

Yesterday was our "What on EARTH is chipboard?" class; we had SUCH a great time! It's amazing how easy the stuff is to class up. :D Those samples may or may not make it up on the blog, depending on how the week goes. They SHOULD, eventually, be on my demonstrator site - I'll let you know when I change it again. I just updated it the end of last week, if you haven't checked it out!

This visor is one of the projects from the Mommy & Me Stamp Camp last weekend; we had a lot of fun decorating! (Ken DID model this for me, but none of the pictures turned out well - I was laughing too hard. :D) It's a simple visor, purchased at one of the big chain craft stores, and then decorated with fun foam letters, glitter glue, and rhinestones. Oh, and the flowers are debossed with a heat tool and stamps, then brushed over with Ruby Red craft ink. Isn't it cute??

This is Abby - whom you've seen on this blog before! :) - with her hat at the MIDDLE stage. She was SO fun - by the time she left, there was no room for a DOT of glitter glue, a rhinestone, OR a fun foam sticker. :D

Well, gotta get busy! We're going for a show photo shoot tonight, and lots to do before then. :D

Don't forget: TAKE SOME TIME TO STAMP SOMETHING TODAY!!! :) Be Blessed!!!!

Mommy & Me Stamp Camp Was a HIT!

We had SUCH a good time! Aren't they all BEAUTIFUL people???? We did three projects today, that you'll get to see down the road. :) One was a visor that they got to decorate, one was a box to hold a snack pack of M&Ms, and one was a picture frame. Each set of moms & kids will get two pictures, one for each of their frames. This is a composite of all of them; we had a wonderful time, no one got TOO bored, and there were some GREAT creations!

I've realized I need to get more ideas for stamping with boys! Granted, most of the time they're not too interested - but when they are, I want to encourage that!!! :) If you have any ideas for boys, please email me at poohisstampin@aol.com, and let me know what they are. If you've got things you've done with your son in the past that have been fun, please let me know!!!

That's it for today - short and sweet again. :D I have TOO much to do - more canning, some baking, and then spending time with some girlfriends tonight. Ahhhhhh, the sweet life. :D

TAKE SOME TIME TO STAMP SOMETHING TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D
