I really do have a reason! :D

This is a quick post to explain about yesterday - and then I'll get busy and do a quick tutorial for today's post.

Besides being not home most of the day, our internet connection was intermittent down here yesterday. It's not the best excuse, but it IS true! :D

This was a demo's group challenge a few weeks ago: Use Pink Pirouette, Tempting Turquoise, Tangerine Tango, and Riding Hood Red in a project. WELL. I just couldn't come up with something "sweet" or "simple" with those colors; they scream PLAYTIME to me. :)

So I took my Heart to Heart punch (from the bundle), and punched out the three different-sized hearts from all the colors of card stock at least twice. Then I just started sticking them down randomly all over the Whisper White front (we were allowed to add any neutrals we wanted).

Next came the medallion stamp from the LOVE YOU MUCH stamp set (from the bundle), and punched and layered.

SUPER simple, hardly any stamping, and I used a LOT of color with little effort!

Wow! What a fun open house we had!!!!

This was the calm before the storm. :) Let me tell you: it was AMAZING how many people showed up today! It was wonderful to see everyone; I think we all had a good time catching up, looking at the new Idea Book & Catalog, placing orders, setting up parties, and, OF COURSE, making the projects! :) I'll show you those either tomorrow night or Monday - BUSY day tomorrow! - but I think you'll be sad you couldn't be here. :)

We really did have a good time. I was truly blessed to see many of my friends here! If you didn't make it in today, I'd still like to get you on my calendar while I have time and opportunity to. They're being printed as I type - I take possession in less than a week, and I cannot wait!
