Day 7 of the Valentine Challenge!

Good morning from snowy middle Tennessee! It's absolutely beautiful coming down out there, and I'm so grateful to be able to do what I LOVE and not have to leave my house to go to the office! :D

Anyway. You're not here to read about the weather! (Have I said that before? It sounds familiar....)
Here's today's sample!

Card stock: Real Red, Basic Black, Whisper White

Ink: Basic Black, Real Red classic AND craft

Stamp sets: Things I Love, A Rose is a Rose

Accessories: Heat tool, embossing buddy, clear embossing powder, pinking hearts border punch

That is IT! It might be difficult to tell, but those are embossed rosebuds on the card. I was inspired by a photo I took at a wedding of the bouquet - lots of beautiful roses all pressed together. It's not exactly the same look, but I really love it.

When my mom saw the card, she said, "It looks like your wedding!" - and that's probably why I really like this one. :D My colors were white, red, and black. :D I love the pinking hearts punch - I love the lace look, and the fact that they are HEARTS! :D

Here's the inside of the card....

I just love the color combination! :) Have I mentioned that yet? :D

OK. I'm off to do some Bible study homework, to watch the birds in the snow, and to be grateful I have a warm home and a comfortable bed to sleep in. :)

PLEASE leave me a comment! Tell me if you're a demonstrator - and if so, why you visit my blog! Tell me if you're a customer of mine - it will increase my gratitude for you! LOL!! And if you're just someone who comes to visit, please tell me WHY! If there's something you'd like me to do more or less of, TELL ME. (Doesn't mean I'll change, but I want to know! LOL!!!)

Have a WONDERFUL day! Stay safe and warm, if you're in the path of this storm - and take the time to STAMP something!

It's getting late...

but it's STILL Tuesday! :D

We had a great time tonight at Advanced Techniques; I'm going to share ONE of the cards we made - and this is also one that will go to Sherrill, who hired me to make samples for her. :) This technique is from Technique Junkies! Love that Pat and her design team! :)

It's called Inside-Out Vellum. Isn't it pretty?

Colors are Ballet Blue, Whisper White, and Certainly Celery. The stamp set is ROSE IS A ROSE. I'll show you the other three tomorrow - HOPEFULLY I'll be home most of the day! :D

Have a great night - and take the time to STAMP SOMETHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm BACK!!!!

Phew. There's nothing like your OWN computer - glitches and curses notwithstanding. :D THANK YOU for your patience, and I'm SO glad you're back with me! :)

Today, I'm going to show you FOUR cards: the first two are from the Advanced Techniques class last month (both techniques are from TECHNIQUE JUNKIES!), and the second two are more ideas for that Medallion background stamp that Tory won for my Annual Birthday Card Contest. :)

So! On with the show!

Isn't it PRETTY? This one's called FOSSIL STONE.

Card stocks: Creamy Caramel, Chocolate Chip, Glossy White

Inks: Jet Black Stazon, Creamy Caramel, Ruby Red

Stamp set: Autumn Days

Accessories: sponge, and one other that I can't tell! :)

I really like this card; I didn't know I was going to lay it out this way, so the second time I did this card, the wheat was offset to the left just a bit more, so it showed. I really like this card!

I LOVE this card, too. It's called POLLOCK Technique.

Card stocks: Very Vanilla, Pale Plum, Perfect Plum, Always Artichoke, Watercolor paper

Inks: Pale Plum, Perfect Plum, Certainly Celery, Always Artichoke, Mellow Moss

Stamp set: A Rose is a Rose

That's all there is to it! Cool, no?? :D

This is the card Tory sent me to thank me for her prize - her very FIRST card made with it! (I'm gonna guess at the supplies, but I think I'm pretty close...:D)

Card stock: So Saffron, Whisper White

Ink: Close to Cocoa, So Saffron

Stamp set: Medallion background, not sure if the THANKS stamp is SU! or not....

Accessories: Gold Brad, paper snips, punch

Thank you, Tory. It's a great card, and will go on the Inspiration Station proudly!

Now, this last card uses a retired stamp set - I REALLY need to get another bride & groom!!! But I LOVE this card - and it was a HUGE hit!!!!! :D

Card stock: Very Vanilla, Basic Black

Ink: Basic Black

Stamp set: Medallion Background stamp set, Teeny Tiny Wishes, Life's Special Moments (Retired)

Accessories: Word window punch, modern label punch, double rectangle punch, dimensionals (The ribbon is from her invitation; I just used the extra, so the invite still has ribbon. :D)

Her wedding invitation had a pattern down the side of it that reminded me of the flairs on the outside of the medallion stamp. I masked off that inch or so, and only inked up the top flairs. It worked pretty well! :D

So, tell me what you think about it!! Or about ANY of the cards; I'm thrilled to have so many of you coming back. :) I LOVE my readers and customers; some of you are my best friends, and I'm SO grateful for you!

If you need any information about placing an order or becoming a demo - don't forget! There's a GREAT special going on right now to join for only $85!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - please call or email me! My contact info's in the side bar, if you ever need me!!!

Now, go STAMP something! :D I'm waiting.... :D Have a wonderful blessed day!!!

:D I'm here in the MORNING, aren't you surprised?!!? LOL!

GOOD WEDNESDAY MORNING!!!!! :D

Today's cards are with the new-to-me stamp set, A ROSE IS A ROSE. I think you can also safely say that they also feature the new IN COLOR, Melon Mambo. I LOVE this color - it's SO cheerful and bright! :D

Card stock: Whisper White, Melon Mambo, Green Galore

Ink: Melon Mambo, Pink Passion, Gable Green, Green Galore

Stamp set: A Rose is a Rose

I didn't even have to use a Stamp-a-ma-jig with this set - although you certainly could, if you wanted it perfectly positioned! (This is one of the projects we did at the Open House!)

Next card! :)

Card stock: Whisper White, Pixie Pink, Melon Mambo

Ink: Mellow Moss, Always Artichoke, Pixie Pink, Melon Mambo

Stamp set: A Rose is a Rose

Accessories: Ticket corner punch, dimensionals

I just love two-step stampin' sets!!! There's so much depth there, SOOOOOOOO easily!

OK. I still have a lot of work to do, and they're still replacing windows, so I'd better get to it. :D

Have a WONDERFUL day, and please, for your own sake, take the time to STAMP SOMETHING!!!! :)
