Here's a close-up!

Happy Wednesday! :)
I thought I'd give you a close-up of the Z-fold card we did for the Mother's Day Stamp Camp last weekend.
The base card stock - and the scallop circle - is Real Red. The long part of the Z-fold itself is Certainly Celery. The middle of the circle is Soft Sky - and don't forget, the IN COLOR family group will be going away in August! STOCK UP WHILE YOU CAN!. The designer series paper is from SUMMER PICNIC, available now until the end of JUNE - thanks, Stampin' Up!!!!!! - in the Occasions Mini. The stamp is from a retired stamp set - I needed something that would fit in the circle! :D We stamped with Real Red CRAFT ink, and embossed with clear embossing powder. Super-simple, eye-catching, and fast!
OK, I'm off to start designing for NEXT week's classes! :) I hope you're having a WONDERFUL week - and taking the time to STAMP!!!!

WHEW! Sorry it's been so long!!!

Wow. What a LIFE it's been around here this month already!!!!!! Please forgive my absence; it's been one of THOSE things. I hope you're ready for more samples, and more information, and that I can keep my sanity for the next two weeks.

Kenn and I are co-directing OUR TOWN, and it opens NEXT THURSDAY, so it's crunch time. I'm already tired. :D

This is the LAST WEEK of Sale-A-Bration; for every $50 in merchandise you purchase from either the Occasions Mini Catalog, or the Spring/Summer Idea Book & Catalog, you can get anything in this brochure for FREE! Take a look, and contact me NOW to get your order in before time runs out!!

OK. On to sharing something. :D Let me look in my little folder, and see what I'm going to draw out for today....

This will work! :) This is a card I did with a homeschooling group of young ladies last week. We had a great time, and I think they enjoyed what they made.

The cardstock colors are Green Galore, Only Orange, and Whisper White; the ribbon is Real Red grosgrain. The background is the Spot On jumbo Stampin' Around wheel, done in Versamark. We tied the ribbon around the Only Orange in a knot, then punched out a scallop with the scallop circle punch. We used the Green Galore and Real Read Stampin' Write Markers to color in the stamp, which is the SO MANY SCALLOPS stamp set from the SAB brochure, and punched that out with the 1-14" circle punch. Punching out a 1-3/8" circle, too, we matted it all up, and put the scallop onto the card with a pop-up glue dot. The inside is stamped with a saying from another SAB set, LOTS OF THOUGHTS. Isn't it a fun card? Bright and colorful - and the colors can be appropriate for either gender! :D

Don't think I've given up on the blog candy; I've got to wait until Kenn's home to help me draw the winner, but I'm collecting all the loot to go in the box! :D I PROMISE it will be announced in the next two days! :D

So, what are YOU stamping???? You ARE stamping, right? Show me!!! And if you don't have anything to show me, for goodness' sake! Take the time to STAMP something!! :D

Have a wonderful day!

More scrapbooking! :)

PHEW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What an absolutely SLAMMED week it's been, and it's not gonna slow down for a few more days!!!! This week has proven to me that I LOVE what I do, or I would have quite two days ago. :D We had a WONDERFUL time today at the last 10/10/10 of the year. As soon as I can get back to some regular schedule, I'll scan and share. I don't think there was a clunker in the group of designs! LOL!

ANYWAY. This is another layout from the 6x6 scrapbook class Tuesday - SUPER, SUPER SIMPLE. Our punches are WONDERFUL sizes for this size page!!! The background paper is Chocolate Chip card stock, color blocked with some of the Evergreen Designer Paper - which is on sale this month!!! :) EASY, and I really like the look of this page!

OK. Off to finish some more things for a business fair in the morning - and if you're in the Nashville area, please think about coming to the Mt. Juliet Sr. Citizens Craft Fair at Mt. Juliet High School on Mt. Juliet Road, Saturday from 9 - 3. I'll be in Booth #2 in the cafeteria! :) Come say hello! (Of course, buying something is always welcome, too....:D)

Good night, dear reader. Thank you for tagging along on this CRAZY ride I call LIFE. :D Now, go take the time to STAMP something - I am!

OK, I'm getting there....

See? It's only HALF a mess now! :D I've got the projects for tonight cut out and designed, one of the offerings for the chocolate party is in the oven, and I've been able to work on other things for the hostess appreciation luncheon today. All this in less than two hours! I'm feeling like I'm accomplishing something finally! :D
I'll post the card we're doing tonight after everyone comes to party with me. :) It's going to be a small crowd, but we'll have fun - how can you not, with chocolate involved???? :)
Back to work for me - I hope you're taking the time to STAMP something!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We did stamp a little this weekend!

Ang was nice enough to let me borrow some of the supplies she brought with her, so I'll show you this one today, and probably another one tomorrow. Stampin' Up! is encouraging us to show you SIP is the way to go - stamps, ink, and paper. I love to add a bit of ribbon here, a punch there, a button somewhere else - but this is pretty much a SIP card. The colors are Whisper White, Certainly Celery, and Pink Passion card stock, Certainly Celery and Pink Passion ink, and PRICELESS stamp set. I like the swirls, and they're Ang's favorite thing right now. :D
Take the challenge! Do a SIP card, and send me your scan or the real thing, and I'll put it up here on my blog! You'll be famous! :D
I'll be updating my Stampin' Up! website gallery soon; it's always a chore, and I've got some things to do this week - like get ready for a class on Thursday! :) I need to STAMP, people!! :D And Friday is our eleventh anniversary. Imagine that! And people said it wouldn't last, because we met online. :) If you don't know our story, you can go here and read all about us. :D
So I'm off to try and catch up with myself! :D Have a WONDERFUL day, dear friends. I so appreciate you!!! Don't forget! TAKE TIME TO STAMP SOMETHING - then share it. :D

To rephrase the challenge....

My best friend told me she couldn't understand what the challenge was, so I guess I'll try and rephrase it, see if it clarifies a little more. :)

1. Email me at poohisstampin@aol.com, and tell me if you choose a LITTLE envelope, or a LOT envelope.

2. I will send you an envelope with miscellaneous images, backgrounds, paper, etc., that are all suitable for making cards with.

3. If you receive a LITTLE envelope, you choose your best card and send it back to me. :D

4. If you receive a LOT envelope, you choose your best THREE cards and send back to me.

5. You keep everything else, use it in whatever projects you want, or pass it on to someone else.

Does that help???? I've gotten a few responses already, so I'm looking forward to getting some envelopes out by the middle of next week. I want to wait a bit, so I can know how many envelopes the stuff needs to be split into! :) And even LITTLE envelopes will have lots of stuff for you to use, I promise!

Ho, hummmmmm....

GOSH, I feel like doing NOTHING!!!! I don't know if it's because I REALLY don't want to work on the show from the 23rd - July 1, or after-birthday blues, or just plain ol' laziness. Have I told y'all that I HATE being hot? I sure do miss those ocean breezes!!!!!

So, since I knew I wanted to show you SOMETHING, and not just whine :D, I came up with this little 3x3 card; the stamped image is embossed, and the polka dots are a pencil eraser. I don't have a dot that's the size I wanted, and this one works perfectly. :) If I have an occasion in the future to hand out business boosters, these are probably something I'll do for that - and I can put a piece of candy or something inside, and my business card. :) What do you think?

News flash: Stampin' Up! let us know today that there are quality issues with the CLEAR DETAIL EP, so they've discontinued it already. It's NO LONGER AVAILABLE. Hmmmmmmm. I sure hope SOMETHING will be taking its place - I use it ALL the time!!!!! Like on THIS card!!!

Just two more days until the retired accessories list comes out! I can't WAIT - it means we're one more step closer to the new Idea Book & Catalog coming out!!!!!!!!!!!!! Get YOUR IB&C preordered today!!!!! Don't forget my Open House on July 2 from 6:30 - 9!!!!!!!!

Gonna go do nothin' again. :D Hope you're having a much more productive week than I am!

Happy Thursday! :D

Phew, what a week it's been! Can you believe I've been home just over three weeks already? Time is FLYING - can't I get back on the plane?? PLEASE? :D
ANYWAY. Enough whining from me. Tonight is my "Shake, Rattle, & Roll" class; this card design is one of the five we're doing. I don't know; five MAY be way overboard. They took me a lot of time to do - but maybe it won't be so bad for my customers, since I had to figure out what the heck I was doing. :D This card is a slider card; you can see a fantastic tutorial here - http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/spinner.php - the only difference is, I used my Word Window Punch for the spinner channel. (Sorry the scan is crooked; the bed of my scanner is difficult to work with when the thing I'm scanning isn't perfectly flat!!!) The set is POLKA DOTS & PAISLEY, from the Spring Mini Catalog. It's an unusual color choice for me, but I find this one refreshing, somehow - Green Galore, Glorious Green, and YoYo Yellow. I widened the channel a bit to accommodate the Stampin' Dimensionals, and had to use a NICKEL to put behind it! :D It's a HEAVY spinner, for sure! I finished it up with the ticket corner punch and the saying. The class is more about the TECHNIQUE involved, not necessarily the design - but I like both! :)
Congratulations again to Cheryl, our contest-winner from the May Scrapbooking Contest! Your prize went out in the mail today! (Speaking of which, this is my first time to send out anything via USPS since the postage hike. And I thought that paying for GAS was ridiculous!!!!) Anyway. :D I hope you enjoy your prize; please let me know when you receive it!
Only five more days to enter the Birthday Card Contest; see previous posts for details! I want everyone to have a chance to win! :D
Off to work some more! Have a wonderful evening, everyone!
