Happy Wednesday! :)
Last night was our hostess club get-together; with it being the end of the current Idea book, I wanted to do simple yet striking projects. And I think this one was a definite WOW.
And YES, I completely stole the idea. AFTER I did my sample, I thought about some ways to step it up and make it even more striking, but we kept it just like this. :)
Here's the link to the person I pinned from, but she even CASEd it!
This would be a pretty card in pastels, too - like a May Day dress! :)
OK, I'm outta here. Have a WONDERFUL day - and be sure to make the time to stamp something!

Pinned Card!
Here we are at Wednesday! Are you having a good week? Can you BELIEVE how far gone July is already??? We had our hostess club get-together last night; I can't wait to start showing you some of the projects from that. :)
For today, here's a card that I Pinned, and loved so much I had to do it almost right away. :D I found it here: My Chic.n Scratch. I did tweak it a little bit; I didn't have any Crumb Cake ribbon, so I used Whisper White.I sponged a little here and there, and made it a thank-you card. :)
I just like its simplicity. I think it's still elegant; do you like my new embossing folder?
OK, I'm outta here. Things are going to be busy with family for the next few weeks, so posts might be shorter - but I will continue to try to get you three times a week! :)
Be sure and get your REASON TO SMILE special; I really, really like the set, and it's pretty versatile! And you can use it to STAMP SOMETHING!!! :D

Good morning!
How are you this fine Thursday? Having a great week? Can't wait until tomorrow? Or both? :D
Well, I got a pre-order in yesterday; if you're a long-time customer of mine, you should have received your Occasions Mini - which goes live April 1!! - in the mail. Perhaps you noticed the new MATCHBOX DIE for the Big Shot? Oh, YEAH. You KNOW I had to have it. :D I've had a couple of questions about its size already, so here we go!

I just threw this one together, so I could play a little. :D I'm still designing for tonight's class! AUGH!
Anyway. :D That's Riding Hood Red Designer Series Paper, and the organdy ribbon. This die goes together super-simply - but if you're using Whisper White for the inside part of the box, I would recommend shimming it - the card stock's thinner than the others, and doesn't show score lines well AT ALL.
I LOVE the labels on this die, too! This is the biggest of the three. I see LOTS of potential for them!
Measurements of the box are (in the orientation I have mine): 2-3/4" tall, 2-1/4" wide, and approx. 3/4" deep - it will hold 4 Hershey's Nuggets, but not Nestle Treasures. :D
Keep your eyes open! You'll be seeing a lot of this one. :D Now I've got to jet - TOO much to do for tonight.... :D Have a WONDERFUL day - and take the time to STAMP something!!!!!!!!!!!!

You may be wondering why I'm putting the DAY in the title? Well, I'm getting these all ready to go for you; Kenn and I are going to visit relatives, and I didn't want to have you stare at the same card all week. :D SO, I'm putting the DAY so I don't forget what I'm doing. :D
Neutral card today - send it to anyone with a sense of humor! :D
Colors: Whisper White, Basic Black, Basic Gray.
Stamp set: PUNS FROM THE PAST
Ink: Encore Metallic Silver
Accessories: silver embossing powder, heat gun, black gingham ribbon, staple. :)
SUPER simple, fun, and classy, IMHO. :D

Good Monday Morning! :)

How ARE you today? Did you have a good Mother's Day? THANK YOU to all the people who sent my mom a birthday card; I'll be making a slide show later this week to show those off. You all ROCK. :)
Today's card is one from my Quick & Easy Card Class last week; I love the Tart & Tangy stamp set from the Ocassions Mini!!!
The card stocks are Real Red, Mellow Moss, and Whisper White. That's Moss Gingham Ribbon - I LOVE our ribbon! - and white craft ink, along with white embossing powder; the punches are the 1-3/8" and the scallop circles. We colored the stamp with Stampin' Write markers. The "happy everything" is from the HAPPY EVERYTHING stamp set. :D Makes sense, huh?
We did one in this color, then one with the colors reversed - Mellow Moss for the card, red ribbon, etc. They're both beautiful - and fresh! HINT: this is a GREAT Christmas color combination, too! :)
I hope you're taking time to STAMP something! Have a WONDERFUL day, and pass on my blog - the next blog candy giveaway will be at 15000 visitors!!! :D

HAPPY RESURRECTION WEEKEND!!

I just wanted to share a quick card with you, again from last Friday! :) Isn't it fun?!?!?
The card stock is Gable Green and Whisper White - with a little punch of Pretty in Pink for the nose, with the pink designer paper from the Level 1 Hostess selection paper pack.
The inks are Gable Green, Glorious Green, and a Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker. The stamp sets are BUD BASICS and SWEET SERENDIPITY. :) The punches are large and regular ovals, 1-3/8" circle, 1/2" circle, and 1/4". I used vintage brads (from last year) for his eyes.
The ribbon is the Whisper White grosgrain, but I used a Pretty in Pink Stampin' Write Marker to highlight the edges - simple, but so effective!
Enjoy your celebration this weekend, dear friend. I hope you try the punch bunny - and if you need any of the punches, just let me know! :) I hope you'll sneak a couple of minutes in to STAMP something! :)

Isn't this CUTE?!?!?!?

Hi, everyone! This is going to be pretty quick again - I have a workshop here this afternoon, and I'll show you those projects on Tuesday, after we've done them at my Monday workshop, too. :) Both of these are hostess club workshops, so one of the projects is a little more detailed for them. It's cute! :D
Anyway. This is the hostess gift for each hostess. I LOVE HOW EASY THIS WAS!
I picked up this little bucket at an after-Christmas sale for a few pennies. The Crop-A-Dile punched the holes for the ribbon AS EASILY AS THROUGH CARD STOCK!!! It was AMAZING!!!!!! Of course, that's our red gingham ribbon. Just a bit of whimsy. :)
The wording is our new CHERISHED MEMORIES RUB-ONS. They are SOOOOOOOO easy to use, stick down quickly, and are really classy. It's much easier than trying to stamp on the bucket. ;)
So, tell me what you think - then take the time to STAMP something!!! :) Have a wonderful weekend!

A quickie for you! :)

Hi, everyone! Here's another quickie from the Quick Card Class. Easy and cute, I think. :D
Oval punch and circle punch make the flower; add a quick ribbon and a sentiment, and voila! A cute, cheery card to send out! :)
I love our gingham ribbons. They add a splash of fun AND texture. :)
OK, I'm off. I'm sick again, and have a medical appointment this afternoon. I'm off to see the wizard...! :)
Have a WONDERFUL day - and please, take the time to STAMP something!!!

A thank-you card for Melissa

Hi, everyone!!!! Boy, it's going to take us a LONG time to get up to the next BLOG CANDY level - I've decided at 10,000 hits - but it's CREEPING along. Pass on my blog to everyone you know, so we can get this show on the road! :)
ANYWAY. Here's a thank-you card I did for my downline, Melissa. She gave me a great Christmas gift, which you saw on the blog in December. She does AWESOME cards, so I wanted to do something a little out of my comfort zone for her. So I COLORED. :D
This is the Level Three Hostess Set, TIME WELL SPENT. I colored everything with Stampin' Write markers, and did the center with a 1/2" circle punch. I coated it with VersaMark, and embossed it with Irridescent Ice EP. It's on the center of the flower with a dimensional. The card stock colors are Whisper White (sponged with Tempting Turquoise), Purely Pomegranate, and Certainly Celery. The ribbon is Purely Pomegranate double-stitched ribbon.
So, what do you think? What are YOU stamping these days???? Show me! :D And if you haven't been, TAKE THE TIME TO STAMP SOMETHING!!!!

OK, I shouldn't be posting...

because I've got SO much to do today, but I HAD to share this. :D This is a gift that one of my customers - hi, Hillary! :D - ordered for her mom. As always, when it's a gift, I'll wrap - so I did. :) This is the Blizzard wrapping paper that was in the Holiday Mini, and the satin chocolate chip ribbon I was raving about yesterday - see how beautifully it lies and drapes??? I LOVE it!
ANYWAY. :D The gift tag is embossed in chocolate chip; the stamp is from PERFECT PRESENTATION, which is a current level 2 hostess set - only available to earn until the end of this month!! It's not too late to schedule your party!!! - and one I dearly love. I used the second type of wrapping paper in the set to punch the large tag out of, and inside stamped the "to...from" stamp from the same hostess set. I suspended the tag from the larger bow with gold cording, also from the Holiday Mini. (You should grab those things when they're available! They come in handy ALL the time, reader!!:D)
So, I'm off to empty the dishwasher - our Sunday school Christmas party is here tonight, and I have LOTS of stuff to do before then! :D So, I'm off! I've already taken the time today to STAMP something. Have you???? :D

Wow! This is beautiful ribbon!

So, Stampin' Up! has this special right now until the 15th of the month, or until supplies last, right? I decided to get some of the satin ribbon from the Holiday Mini; it was half price, and I can always use ribbon, right?
WOW, is it pretty! It's really thick, and the quality is OBVIOUS. You want to sit and stroke it! :D
I've been baking cookies today - but I've gotten a little ill, so I think I'm going to go lie down, and try again later this afternoon - too much to do to get sick!!!!! :D
If you want to take advantage of this great special from Stampin' Up!, please call me or email me today!!!!! Let's get your order in before things are gone - like the Tags For All stamp set, which is no longer available. :)
Have a wonderful day, dear reader. Take time to STAMP something!!! I will, I promise! :D

It's been a LONG day, but I want to share! :)

We had a great time at both sessions of today's 10/10/10! This card IS NOT from this class, however; those samples will start showing up tomorrow. :)
This IS a sample from the chipboard class, however! This one we covered with designer series paper, then sanded the edges. This card was a BIG hit - SO simple, yet a lot of WOW. :D Of course, it doesn't hurt that Stampin' Up! has some glorious ribbon.... :D The colors are Lovely Lilac and Almost Amethyst, but they look a little blue in this post. Sorry!
So, what did you stamp today? You DID take time to stamp something, right?????? :) Well, be SURE to do so for Wednesday - and bless someone, too! :) I'll be blabbing - well, I guess the appropriate word is blogging, isn't it?!? - at you again soon! :)

Don't tell my hostesses this week!
The lucky girls are going to learn how to make one of these candy bar holders, and receive one as a hostess gift! Aren't they pretty? This is using the Au Chocolat designer series double-sided paper from the Stampin' Up!® Spring Mini Catalog. It's BEAUTIFUL paper! The only other things I needed were the hostess's set, RIVETING, some light pink grosgrain ribbon, and a few punches. I used Versamark and vanilla EP for the chocolate chip middle on the punch, and chocolate chip ink for the rest on the Very Vanilla card stock.Melissa Lance sent me the photo from SplitCoastStampers, and I followed a link to the following website for the tutorial (Thanks, Melissa!!!!):
Let me know if you try this one!
