As I stated yesterday, I'm showcasing retiring OR retired stamp sets this week; it's your LAST CHANCE to get the stamps on the list, and there have been some awesome stamp sets that have retired in previous years. These two cards are HOSTESS SETS. We have some INCREDIBLE sets for hostesses, that are NEVER available in the Idea Book & Catalog again. Seriously, folks: it's WORTH having a party to get some of these!

I'm on a group online who is doing something called POTS - Passin' On To Others - and this is what I made to pass along. It's a paper bag album, made with the retired Tickets & Tokens SS kit. I REALLY like it; it's a little austere inside, but I don't have any travelling stamps that really go with it - so I'll let the recipient add whatever she wants. :) It's a little hard to let it go, honestly! :D You can barely see the pocket tabs sticking out on the right side; I used the diecuts with the kit to make journaling cards. I hope she likes it!!

I'm getting my new Idea Books & Catalogs from Mr. Brown today!!!!!!!! I AM SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope he comes with plenty of time before I go to water aerobics; Ken won't let me skip that, and I REALLY want to look and OOOHHHH and AAAAAHHHH for a long time - then start making my MUST HAVE list. :D Be SURE and get your book!!!!!

Well, I can't wait to take photos of my stamping area to show you! It's not QUITE unpacked, but almost! :) And I promised that my 10/10/10 class would be the first OFFICIAL unveiling of it, so next weekend will be the time I get to show you, my few and loyal readers :D, what I've been working on so steadfastly since I got home.

Now, then. This card is for my mom; we were gone on her birthday and Mother's Day, and with everything packed up since I came home, well.... I had a chance today to sit down and make her a card. What do you think? It's using the Pallette o' Prints that's May's special from Stampin' Up!® - you can go to my website to learn more - and my newest alpha set, BIG DEAL ALPHABET. I'm glad I chose it - almost all my alpha sets are retiring! SO. :) Colors are Very Vanilla, Always Artichoke, and So Saffron. I'd love to hear your comments!
