TIME TO VOTE!!!

Edited to add: THESE ARE NOT MY DESIGNS. :) These are entries into my THIRD ANNUAL BIRTHDAY CARD CONTEST, which others have submitted (really, it's my excuse to get extra birthday cards. :D).

OK, here are the entries! We need to pay for the gallery I normally use, so until we get that done, I've got to post them all here. If you want to get other people to vote for your card, get them to come here!!! :)

I didn't put the copyright on all of them, because a few of them I didn't know. Just assume that most of them are Stampin' Up!. And assume that ALL of them are copyrighted by SOMEONE. :D Also, they're not posted in any order, except the one I scanned them in Sunday night.

YOU HAVE NINE DAYS TO VOTE!!! Popular winner at that time will win a prize, and I will announce MY choice then, too.

Thank you ALL for playing! I hope you had a good time, too, and that we'll have more participants next year!! :)

Now, VOTE. LEAVE A COMMENT, telling me which number you're voting for! GOOD LUCK! :)

LAST CHANCE LIST ends June 30!

This is the Inspiration Station in my studio. I periodically change things out, so anyone who comes over can look and HOPEFULLY find something they're inspired by! :)

EVERYTHING displayed here is done with something that's retiring - either an IN COLOR, or a stamp set, or perhaps a DSP. Maybe it's a specific layout, or a cool cut. Anything that can inspire you, I hope is displayed in this corner!

Find inspiration wherever you can! Ask me questions! I'm here for YOU! :)

Have a wonderful day! Just two more days to get your entry to me for the THIRD ANNUAL BIRTHDAY CARD CONTEST! So, go take the time to STAMP something! :)

Happy Birthday, Cindy!

QUICK post - I have just a few moments before I'm supposed to be somewhere else! :D - but it's Cindy's birthday. I wanted to show you the card I gave her Sunday, both as a hostess gift and as her birthday card.

Our new pop-up dies are so fun to work with! I've been so busy with other toys - er, ummm, TOOLS! - I haven't shown it to you yet. Plus, it's hard to photograph! :D But here's the outside of the card:

Pale Plum card stock, 5/8" Whisper White satin ribbon, flower in Pale Plum is from HEARTFELT THANKS. Now, for the inside....

Isn't it fun??? :) The background is Perfect Plum; both sayings, embossed in white, are from A LITTLE BIRTHDAY CHEER. The cake is cut from Pale Plum card stock, and the DSP is from Candy Lane.

It's SUPER SIMPLE to put together! I have a harder time deciding which colors to use. LOL!

Here's one more picture of the cake:

If you'd like to learn more about the pop-up dies, please click on the link on the right-hand side of the page that says POP-UP DIES! :D

If you'd like to order yours, CLICK HERE, then click the SHOP NOW button at the top!

You have three more days to get your birthday cards in for the THIRD ANNUAL BIRTHDAY CARD CONTEST!!! Hurry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Now, I've got to run. Have a wonderful evening, and PLEASE! Take the time to STAMP something - you'll have a great time! :D

Christmas is coming quickly!

Yup, today's post is a Christmas card - and a super-simple birthday card, because we did these yesterday at Cindy's workshop. We had a great time, and Cindy qualified for the Summer Fun Hostess Bonus!! It ROCKED!!! Her party came in at just over $400, so she got to pick the regular stuff - two free hostess sets, plus $45 worth of free stuff, HER CHOICE! - PLUS $40 more in free stuff!!!!!!!!!!! I'm REALLY excited for her! I have two more hostesses this month, and I'm hoping they'll at least make the smaller Hostess Bonus, which is at $250. Then they'll get an extra $25! If you want to get a party in before the end of June, please contact me immediately! It's also the last of the LAST CHANCE LIST time; the last time you can get those stamp sets is the end of June, and then they go away forever.

PLEASE DON'T FORGET TO ENTER THE THIRD ANNUAL BIRTHDAY CARD CONTEST!!!! There will be two winners - go to yesterday's post to get linked to the instructions!!!!!

Now, on with the show. :D

Card stocks: So Saffron, Whisper White

Ink: Riding Hood Red - retiring IN COLOR

Stamp sets: Cute & Curly (from CURLY LABEL PUNCH BUNDLE); inside - Holidays & Wishes - all retiring!

Accessories: SWEET SLUMBER cover-weight DSP (retiring), Curly Label Punch (from CURLY LABEL PUNCH BUNDLE, retiring), dimensionals

Can't get much more simple than this card! Pretty gender-neutral, too!

Now, on to the Christmas card - and it took lots of steps! :)

The smaller card is the INSIDE of the card; it was pretty cool itself, so I wanted to make sure you saw it. :)

Card stocks: Bravo Burgundy, Very Vanilla, Brushed Gold

Ink: Versamark

Stamp sets: Heritage Holiday, Holidays & Wishes - BOTH RETIRING

Accessories: So Swirly Jumbo Stampin' Around Wheel (retiring), jumbo handle, uninked cartridge, Versamark refill, gold embossing powder, embossing buddy, heat tool, 1-3/4" circle punch, Stamp-a-ma-jig, ticket corner punch

This was a really fun card to do. LOTS of steps, but they weren't difficult steps! There's an OPTIONAL step, as shown in the sample here. I put the circle I punched out back into the hole to mask the inside, then took a pencil eraser and inked it with Versamark. I stamped it half on the card front, and half onto the punched circle, to make a scallop pattern around my window. Then, it's embossed with gold EP, too; it just added a little finishing touch to the card. :)

OK, I'm off! Lots to do, no ambition. :D Same ol' same ol'! :D Have a WONDERFUL day - and be SURE to take the time to STAMP something!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy Tuesday afternoon!

Shew. What a day!!!! I got to see THE TALE OF DESPEREAUX *and* NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM...SMITHSONIAN today. What fun movies, and what great company I had!!!

ANYWAY. Here's another card from Saturday; I LOVE this card. It may be because of the Real Red striped grosgrain - I just am in love with it. :D I hope you like the card, too - it's called a floating card, because the images look like they're floating. :D

Card stocks: Real Red, Whisper White

Inks: White Stazon, Jet Black Stazon

Stamp set: Crazy for Cupcakes

Accessories: Real Red striped grograin, assorted Stampin' Write Markers, ticket corner punch, window sheets (Occasions Mini)

Super simple, but soooooooo cute! I just love it! :D

OK, I'm off - not too much time until I need to be ready to teach. :) Don't miss me tomorrow - not only do I have another window sheet card to show off this week, but also four cards from tonight's advanced techniques class!

I'm stampin' - I hope you're taking the time to STAMP SOMETHING!!!!

Wonderful Window Sheets!

Good Monday afternoon - it's hard to get into the swing of things again!!! Class on Saturday was fun; we looked at some great projects you can do using the clear window sheets, available in the Occasions Mini Catalog ONLY through the end of the month.

Here is one of the projects we did. This technique is an old one, called CAUGHT IN CRYSTAL; Stampin' Up! used to sell window sheets on a regular basis, and this is one of my favorite MESSY things to do with them. :)

Card stocks: Not Quite Navy, Whisper White

Inks: Jet Black Stazon, White Craft

Stamp set: Fifth Avenue Floral

Accessories: Summer Sun and More Mustard re-inkers, Dazzling Diamonds glitter (hard to see, but it's in there!), tissue paper, white embossing powder, embossing buddy, heat tool, dimensionals

I'm feeling generous today, so here's a deal! If you place an online purchase of window sheets between now and the end of the month, I'll send you an email with a pdf file of step-by-step instructions on how to do this! Your order can be for anything besides the window sheets, too, but must include them to get the tutorial! :) Just CLICK HERE, then click on the SHOP NOW button at the top. You want to be sure to order either thickness window sheets (order numbers 114323 or 114324).

OK, I'm outta here! Tomorrow night is Advanced Techniques, and you know that always means samples! :) I've got them all designed and cut, but need to clean up the studio pretty desperately. :D

Have a wonderful day! And take the time to STAMP something, would ya?!?!

Friday, June 5, 2009

It's FRIDAY!

Got big plans for the weekend??? We're doing a WONDERFUL WINDOW SHEETS class tomorrow; I can't wait to stamp with some of the girls, and show off these great items (in the OCCASIONS MINI, which is only good through the end of this month!).

ANYWAY. Today's stamp set is one of the wonderful Christmas sets that I'm having to say goodbye to; I really, REALLY liked the Santa that was in this stamp set. I can't WAIT to see what's in the new Idea Book & Catalog, which goes live JULY 1!!!! Click the link in the sidebar to go see the sets and accessories that are going away. It's your LAST CHANCE LIST!

So, here is today's creation!

Card stocks: Shimmery White, Riding Hood Red (retiring IN COLOR), Brushed Silver

Inks: Encore Metallic Silver, Riding Hood Red

Stamp set: Heritage Holiday

Accessories: Silver embossing powder, heat tool, embossing buddy, Riding Hood Ribbon striped grosgrain, rhinestone brad, horizontal slot punch, dimensionals

I wish you could come see this card in real life - I really enjoy using the Shimmery White card stock. It's really pretty!

OK, I'm off to procrastinate some more. :D I hope you have a WONDERFUL weekend! OH! I forgot to tell you! My dad surprised me today with a BRAND NEW MONITOR!!! Amy gave me her dad's old ergonomic keyboard, which is really fancy, so I'm all set! It's so nice to see the CORRECT colors on my screen! :)

Be sure to take the time to STAMP something!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Heartfelt Thanks

Here I am! Still with the "asteroid" on my desk, still with green and purple coloring everything on my screen, but I used some Whisper White on the sample - so, no matter what it looks like to me, I THINK it's going to be right because of having that to work with. :D

So, you get to tell me: do the colors look right??? I wanted to use some more of the IN COLORS - be sure and stock up on your favorites before the end of the month (click HERE, then click on the SHOP NOW button at the top!) - so I chose Pacific Point and Kiwi Kiss. This uses both embossed resist and wax resist as techniques.

(I can't help but giggle - the far left of this card is bright violet on my screen!)

Card stocks: Whisper White, Pacific Point

Inks: Pacific Point, Kiwi Kiss, Versamark, Jet Black Stazon

Stamp set: Heartfelt Thanks

Accessories: white crayon, clear embossing powder, embossing buddy, heat tool, sponges

Super-simple, but I really enjoy this type of card!

OK, I'm off - tonight's going to be a fun time with Kenn, eating out and going to church. OH, and if you didn't know, SONIC is giving away free root beer floats tonight - go grab one!!!

Have a WONDERFUL day - and please, STAMP SOMETHING!!! Don't forget the CONTEST going on!!!!

Tuesday, June 2, 2009

Please stand by...!!!!

It's been a rough couple of weeks on electronics around here! First BOTH laptops, now my MONITOR just gave way tonight when I was in the middle of something! AUGH! :D I DO have one now, but it's an OLD, OLD one - it's bigger than the little old TV I have down here in my studio!!!! And the fun thing is, it makes everything GREEN.

SO. Until I can get a new monitor, I'm going to have to do any picture work on Kenn's new computer when I get a chance. It MAY mean I can't post every day.

IF, however, you happen to be getting a new computer, and are close by me, and you'd like to bless someone.... :D I happen to know someone who would praise GOD for you and the blessing.... :D

I'll keep you updated, and do my best to get you a couple of samples this week still. I'll be loving on those stamp sets that are going away forever; I went through and marked my Idea Book tonight with all the sets AND the accessories. But there's still almost a whole MONTH before those sets say goodbye, and I'm going to keep on using them until the final day! :)

Have a wonderful day!!!! Please, take the time to STAMP SOMETHING!!!!! :)

Tuesday is here! :)

I hope you're enjoying your June so far - it sure came in with a heat wave!!! I'm SO grateful for air conditioning! :D

Anyway. If you receive my newsletter, you will have seen this card yesterday, but kind of small. I wanted to show off what you can do just by punching out shapes!

And I also wanted to use up some of my IN COLOR scraps. :D

Card stock: Pink Pirouette, Riding Hood Red, Kiwi Kiss, Tangerine Tango, Pacific Point

Ink: Pacific Point

Stamp set: Really Retro

Accessories: Five-petal flower punch, Boho Blossoms punch, eyelet border punch, scallop circle punch, dimensionals

It's so fun to just slap things down. LOL!!! I don't know about you, but I have a little drawer I keep things I've either stamped or punched and not used. That way, I can pull them out and make a card in a hurry. If you do this kind of card, it's a great way to use up some of that stuff! :D

So, go STAMP SOMETHING - and have FUN doing it!!!!!

Monday, June 1, 2009

RETIRING STAMPS!

Hello again! :) Don't miss the THIRD ANNUAL BIRTHDAY CARD CONTEST - just scroll down a ways. :D I want to get this into your hands!

Also, there are LOTS of Decor Elements that are retiring - but I'm not going to type them all out here, because it would take me too long! :D Please email me if you'd like a pdf file of them - they're ALL 25% off!!!

There are also many accessories retiring; I'm not going to post them here, because they'll be flying out the door - and I don't want you to think they'll be available very long. :D Email me if you want to know more.

We only have until JUNE 30 to order any of these stamp sets. It's your LAST CHANCE!!! With the June hostess special, it's a great time to have a party - your guests will want to get those last few sets before they're gone. :)
Please note: this list is in page number order; I couldn't open the alphabetical, because so many people are trying to see! :D

Yup, I have a birthday this month - so YOU get a chance to win GIFTS. :D I know, it's kind of backward, but that's the way I like it! (Uh, huh! Uh, huh! ROFL!)

ANYWAY. There are TWO categories this year: popular vote and MY vote.

You may use whatever you wish to create your birthday card for me. HOWEVER, for My Vote, all Stampin' Up! counts more. :D

All cards must arrive at my house by June 20, 2009. If you need my address, please email me.

Anything goes! I can't wait to see what you create for me. :) On the 21st, I'll put up a gallery where you will vote on your favorite by leaving a message. I will announce the winner on July 1, giving you 10 days to vote!

Now, GET TO STAMPIN'!!! :D And keep watching for another post, telling you about the LAST CHANCE LIST coming out today, too!!!

Happy FRIDAY!

Wow. The last Friday of May, the last POST of May. The year's almost halfway over - can you believe that it's only 210 days until Christmas?!?!? :D Take a look at the counter on this page! LOL!

If you're anywhere around me, tonight is a free stamp & scrap night at my house - just bring a snack to share, and the stuff you want to work on. I'll be workin' on stuff, too! :)

Anyway. For today's post, I wanted to use up a little more of my designer series paper - since I know there's going to be LOTS I'm going to want to play with in the new Idea Book & Catalog, I want to clean out what I've got. :D

This is a 6x6 card; it would be EASY to turn this into a 2-page 6x6 layout. I'd use this side for one of the pages, and cut on the score line to do the second page. Here's the picture, and then I'll give you the recipe! :)

Card stock: Very Vanilla, Taken With Teal

Inks: Basic Brown, Taken With Teal

Stamp set: Just Buzzin' By....

Accessories: Creamy Caramel, More Mustard and Taken With Teal Stampin' Write Markers, Stamp-A-Ma-Jig, Crystal Effects, AquaPainters, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter, 2-Way Glue Pen, dimensionals, paper snips, Five-Petal Flower Punch, Boho Blossoms Punch, Game Night DSP

Isn't it FUN? :) The DSP just reminded me of a picnic tablecloth! It's the other side of the DSP I used on this project earlier in the year. (The one on the tin!)

OK. I'm off! Have a WONDERFUL weekend! And take a little time to STAMP SOMETHING! :)

Stationery Box Class

Hi! So sorry it's late in the day again; I'm going to work on tomorrow's post while Kenn's gone tonight, so I can get it prescheduled. (I figure if I put it in writing, I'll feel obligated....:D)

SO. Here are pictures from earlier this month; this stationery box was a lot of fun to do, and would make a FANTASTIC gift - it's more labor-intensive than expensive, and with today's economy, isn't that what we're all looking for? I got the tutorial HERE, from Jackie Topa; she's AMAZINGLY talented, and has some fantastic things - please take a look around her blog, too!

On with the pictures!!!! Unless there's something terribly important to share with you, I'm just putting up the pictures. As always, click on the picture for a larger look - then click on your back button to come back and continue! :)

For all the projects, we used Whisper White and Pacific Point card stock, and Pacific Point designer series paper. The ribbon on the box top is Whisper White 1/4" grosgrain.

This is the inside of the box. The little side envelope holds stamps.

Underneath the flap is a regular 3x3 post-it notepad.

The top part of the box holds cards, a notebook - for addresses, etc. - and gift cards.

Here's a picture of that little notebook:
Then there's that small side pocket that looks empty! It's got eight greetings from SINCERE SALUTATIONS stamped in Pacific Point and punched with the scallop oval punch from the OCCASIONS MINI, only available for another month!

As you can see on a couple of the projects, we also used the eyelet edge punch. I love that thing. :D

The greeting punches will fit on both the smaller enclosure cards AND on the larger cards, as you can see from these last pictures!

So, that's it for today - but I think it's a lot! :D Even if you don't do the whole box, a set of the cards with the salutation punches would make an easy, quick, THOUGHTFUL gift!

You do realize that MONDAY will be the release of the LAST CHANCE LIST, right? Formerly called The Retired List, THE LAST CHANCE LIST is the listing of all the CURRENT STAMP SETS that will be GONE come July 1!!! That's when the new Idea Book & Catalog makes its appearance - but it's also the day we say farewell to some favorite sets. Be watching - I'll post that list, or a link to the list, Monday.

But Monday is also the start of the THIRD ANNUAL BIRTHDAY CARD CONTEST, and you'll want to be sure to enter that! :)

Tomorrow will be the last post of the month. WOW. Hard to believe it's flown! :) Have a wonderful evening, my friends. And at least TRY to take the time to STAMP SOMETHING, would ya!?:D

It's WEDNESDAY! :)

Hi, all! I'm really sorry that I haven't been posting as long or as often as I should; Kenn blew up all the laptops, so until HIS new PC gets here, we're SHARING this one. I bet you can guess how that's going. :D

ANYWAY. Last night was my first OPPORTUNITY NIGHT, and no one came. :D It's too bad, too - I had this cute project to share. I found a tutorial for it HERE, but had to fix one or two things. Here's the pictures of the one I did for last night! (While you're at Stephanie's blog, check out some of her other projects - she does great work!!!!!)

Isn't it CUTE?!?!?

Here's the low-down:

Card stocks: Cameo Coral, Whisper White, Summer Sun, Garden Green, Close to Cocoa, Very Vanilla (see next picture)

Ink: Cameo Coral

Stamp sets: Really Retro (see next picture), Boho Backgrounds

Accessories: Five-petal flower punch, scallop circle punch, 1/2" circle punch, small oval punch, scallop edge punch, Very Vanilla taffeta ribbon, Build-a-brad, dimensionals, crimper

SO fun to do! Here's what it looks like when you pull out the insert:

This card WILL fit in a standard card envelope! You just have to be careful when putting the flowers on to keep it at the 5-1/2" heighth.

OK. Lots to do today, not to mention getting off here soon so Kenn can have his "turn". :D

Have a WONDERFUL day! If you try one of these flower pot cards, I'd LOVE to see what you do!

Because you ARE going to take the time to STAMP SOMETHING, aren't you?!?!?! ;)

So, today is the LAST DAY to enter for the BLOG CANDY!! You MUST read THIS post and leave a comment on THIS POST. :) I can't wait to see who wins! :D

Edit: I know the surprise box link STILL doesn't work. Just email me at poohisstampin@aol.com and I'll send you the PDF file. ::sigh:: I tried! :)

Today and Monday I'm going to share cards from last night's Quick Card Class. We had a great time! Let me know what you think of them, will you? :D

This is NOT an original punch design - it's been floating around for a while, but I just think it's too cute for words. :D So, we used it last night!

Card stocks: Very Vanilla, Whisper White, Apricot Appeal, Certainly Celery, Going Gray

Inks: Certainly Celery, Apricot Appeal

It's already been a good day! LOL!!

Can you believe it?!?!? I'm a featured artist on Elaine's Blog!!!!! Go check her blog out - she asked me some great questions, and it's a REALLY nice post. :) I'm SO flattered - thanks, Elaine! :)

Elaine wrote and asked me how I could do so many posts after last week's blog tour - wasn't I too tired? LOL!!! When I design SO MANY projects, like I have this week, I GOTTA show them off to SOMEONE, right? :D Plus, I had Monday's blog post already written when we did the tour; since I knew what I wanted to show off, AND needed to explain about the blog candy, it was easy. Gave me another day off, too! LOL! I need to do more of the advanced blogging.... :D

OK, so for SOME odd reason the SURPRISE FRIENDSHIP BOX link yesterday didn't work. :/ Try this, and let me know if you found it. If not, leave me your email address and I'll try sending you the direct link - it'll open Adobe Reader on your computer... CLICK HERE, and then click on the SECOND link, where it says SURPRISE FRIENDSHIP BOX.

I'm having computer problems today, so I want to get this out to you ASAP. So, on with the show!

This first card is the third from the Advanced Techniques class the other night. It's called Painted Pigments, and I love the brightness of it! :D If you want to know how to do it, however, you'll need to GO HERE and subscribe! It's worth the money!

Card stock: Whisper White, Basic Black

Inks: Versamark, Summer Sun, Cameo Coral, and Ruby Red pigment

Stamp set: Inspired by Nature

Accessories: I CAN'T TELL YOU! :)

But don't you just love the colors, and the way the silhouette pops?

THIS ONE is for tonight's Quick Card class; I designed it for a challenge at Late Night Stampers - a great group for both demos and non, if you're interested let me know! - but it's so easy, and so pretty, that I had to encorporate it into tonight's class. I know Mary won't mind seeing it before she does it. :D We'll also be using Chocolate Chip taffeta instead of the Kraft you see here.... DON'T MISS ANOTHER CLASS! Click HERE to see my schedule!!!
Card Stocks: Kraft, Chocolate Chip, Old Olive
Inks: Old Olive, Ruby Red - both Classic and Craft
Stamp set: Fifth Avenue Floral (What else?? :D), INSIDE - A Little Birthday Cheer
Accessories: Big Shot - YES! I LOVE THAT MACHINE!! :D, Stampin' Up! Exclusive Texturz Plates, clear embossing powder, embossing buddy, heat tool, sponge, kraft taffeta ribbon
OK! I'm off to finish designing for tonight. LOL!!!!! Have a WONDERFUL day, and TAKE THE TIME TO STAMP SOMETHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh, and don't forget to enter for the BLOG CANDY HERE!!!! You only have until tomorrow night to enter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, last night was this month's Advanced Techniques class. We have SO much fun doing these classes - and last night was no exception. :) We did one of the cards from the last blog tour, so I won't show you that one again. Today, you'll get two, and the third design, you'll get with some of tomorrow's Quick Card designs. :)

So! ON WITH THE SHOW!

FUN, FUN technique. Both of today's are from TECHNIQUE JUNKIES - tell Pat I sent you! :D This one's called COLOR POP.

QUICK POST!

I'm on my way out the door to meet a new friend for lunch, but I HAD to tell you how much fun we had last night at the SURPRISE BOX class!!! If you missed it, you missed OUT, let me tell you! :D

First, I got the directions I followed from Pam Curtis of Creative Choice Designs. I'll try and find a URL for you when I get home.

These are how they look when you're finished - unless you're going to embellish them. :D We pretty much let the designer series paper do the work here; I really like how clean the lines are, and I don't think I'd do too much to mess with them. :D

And THIS is how they look on the inside!!!

Aren't they ADORABLE? Besides using a paper trimmer and a hole punch, EVERYTHING is done by hand for these fun boxes. The box on the left is done with Pacific Point DSP and Whisper White card stock; the box on the right is Riding Hood Red DSP and Whisper White.

Here's a little closer look at one:
They were REALLY fun - we folded, and folded and folded, and then folded some more, while we just chatted away. :)
OK, I'm grabbing my stuff and running. :D Don't miss a class again! :D CLICK HERE to check on my class schedule.
I hope you have a GREAT day - don't forget to enter on YESTERDAY'S POST to win some blog candy, and for PETE'S SAKE, take the time to STAMP SOMETHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

Welcome to MONDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome back!! Did you have a good weekend?? Did you enjoy the blog tour?? I certainly hope so - I LOVE having people look at my blog, and I enjoyed going to all the links and seeing the great samples!

Today, as promised, I have another sample to show you with the SIMPLE FRIENDSHIP stamp set, and a clickable list of links to the photos of projects I've already showed. If you are a regular visitor, you'll probably get bored with the list of projects. :D But be sure to read along, anyway, and enter to win the SURPRISE BLOG CANDY!! By the way, you'll also want to be sure and visit here on JUNE 1 for my THIRD ANNUAL BIRTHDAY CARD CONTEST!!! I can't believe it's already been a year since the last. ;)

Anyway! Here we go!

This the MATCHBOOK DIE that is in the OCCASIONS MINI - you can click the link to the right to download it for yourself! I love this little box; it's the PERFECT size for four Hershey's nuggets, or a multitude of other things!

These use a mixture of RIDING HOOD RED, CANDY LANE, and BELLA ROSE Designer Series Paper. (Those are three of my faves from the current IB&C!) That glorious ribbon is the organza ribbon from the IB&C. It's very luxurious! The base of both boxes is Riding Hood Red card stock.

The saying on the label is from - what else?? :D - SIMPLE FRIENDSHIP. I really like the simplicity of these boxes! I let the DSP and the ribbon do all the decorating work, and used ONE stamp. :)

If you'd like to continue looking at previous projects I've shared, please click on the following links. It will ONLY take you to their photos; you'll have to browse the last month's entries to find out details. :)

CLICK HERE for an Advanced Techniques card.

CLICK HERE for a pretty pink birthday card.

CLICK HERE for what I think is my favorite card I've designed with this set!

CLICK HERE for a great Real Red card.

Woah, that's a LOT of reading today! :D I hope you've enjoyed the SIMPLE FRIENDSHIP samples you've seen here. I'd love to see anything you do with it!

Now, for the BLOG CANDY! :D Enter by Friday, May 22, at midnight; tell me what your favorite sample you've looked at ON MY BLOG! is. And why is always good! :) Over the weekend, I'll use random.org to pick one of you to WIN! (I hope you'll keep coming back, anyway....:D)

OK! Now it's YOUR turn to talk! And then, PLEASE, go take the time to STAMP SOMETHING!!!!!!
