Mea culpa!

I'm SO sorry it's Thursday already and I'm just getting back here. I thought Tuesday was going to be an easy afternoon/evening day, but it wasn't - I plumb wore myself out! :D And yesterday, I couldn't recooperate very fast. So, here I am. And I'll post three projects, OK? :D Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday!

Tuesday

This is one of the cards from the Quick Card Class. I really like the medallion stamp - and will be very, very sad when it retires! :) The color combo is one my dear friend, Pat Huntoon from Technique Junkies, cannot get enough of - so I thought I'd do a card with it. :D

Card stock: Crumb Cake, Rich Razzleberry, Whisper White

Ink: Rich Razzleberry, Whisper White

Stamp sets: Fabulous Phrases, Medallion

Accessories: heat tool, Embossing Buddy, white embossing powder

So, what do you think? Do you like the color combo?

Wednesday

This card was from our punch art class; if you look around the Web, you'll be able to find out how to do it. I LOVE this card; the design's almost like a Celtic cross.

Card stock: Whisper White, Concord Crush, Wisteria Wonder

Ink: Wisteria Wonder, Concord Crush

Stamp sets: Blessings from Heaven, Awash with Flowers

Accessories: Designer Label Punch, 2-1/2" Circle Punch, Big Shot, Backgrounds #1 Texturz Plates, Snail, Dimensionals

It's just PRETTY. :)

And finally:
TODAY

Today's share is a scrapbook page I did for a demonstrators-only email group challenge. Since I haven't shared any photos from our anniversary with you, I'll share one that showcases Kenn's meal. :D

Dungeoness is Kenn's favorite crab - it's from the West Coast, and is the meatiest crab there is. We were truly blessed for our anniversary this year, and dinner was FREE. God is so good to us!!

OK, there you go! Three projects, and I've GOT to tell you: not very many of you have purchased MY DIGITAL STUDIO from me. I don't have kids, but I'm having a BLAST saving our story. Even if no one else looks at my books, I have them to cherish and remind me when I need it. :) Interested? Email me, or go to my business site and click SHOP NOW to purchase it!

I'm off!!! By the way, it doesn't look like I'm going to be doing the show this fall; I couldn't get the cast together. :( But that means I won't be as wiped out as I thought! LOL! Have a wonderful day, and be SURE to take the time to STAMP something!

Color Card Share

Well, I was HOPING I'd posted the cards today's share (and future shares!) were done with, but I haven't; I'm hoping that my hard drive will be back next week, and then I'll show you. Those of you who came to the studio during July, August, and the first part of this month will remember the IN COLOR section, where I had the petal-like cards showing you where this year's IN COLORs fit into the color picture. Well, here's what I did with one of them - I'll be showing them off and on until they're all up. And I'm saving my favorite for last! :D

Card stock: Tangerine Tango, Whisper White, Pumpkin Pie, Poppy Parade, Calypso Coral, Peach Parfait

Ink: Versamark, Chocolate Chip

Stamp set: Day of Gratitude

Accessories: corner rounder punch, scallop square punch, 1-3/8" square punch, heat tool, embossing buddy, Tangerine Tango embossing powder, dimensionals

Yeah, I know it's a little crooked. :D Straight doesn't happen often here.... :D But isn't it a fun and EASY card? And we all have lots of scraps, right? (Please don't tell me I'm the only one with scraps coming out of my ears!!!)

OK, I'm off. I am having ONE more night of auditions, in hopes of being able to cast this show! Have a wonderful day - and be sure to take the time to STAMP something!!!

Stampin' Sisters in Christ Challenge!

Good FRIDAY morning! We're off to teach, so here's a challenge card to show you. This week's challenge was to use "quiet colors. Nothing bright."

Card stock: Certainly Celery, So Saffron, Pink Pirouette, Whisper White

Ink: Certainly Celery, Versamark, So Saffron, Pretty in Pink

Stamp sets: Blessings from Heaven, Field Flowers

Accessories: Very Vintage Jumbo Stampin' Around wheel, Eyelet Border Punch, white embossing powder, Embossing Buddy, heat tool, dimensionals

It's a pretty simple layout, but I think I like the card. :) What do YOU think??

OK, I'm off! I hope you have a WONDERFUL weekend! Make sure you take the time to STAMP something! :D

Advanced Technique from Technique Junkies!

Happy Thursday! How are you today?? Have you had a good week? I've been enjoying the MUCH cooler temperatures, that's for sure. :)

This is one of the cards we did Tuesday night for the Advanced Techniques class; I love Pat Huntoon and the Technique Junkies newsletter; I take what she teaches, and turn it into things I can do with totally Stampin' Up! products. :D

This one is called COLLAGED CIRCLES. While I can't tell you how to do it, I can tell you that it uses PAISLEY PETALS designer series paper, Early Espresso and Sahara Sand card stock.

OK, I'm off! Mom and Dad come home tonight from their dream vacation, so I need to make sure the house is not totalled. :D Have a WONDERFUL day - and be sure to take the time to STAMP something!

Happy Anniversary, Kenn Stilger!

Today is our fifteenth anniversary. In some ways, it's been a LONG fifteen years; we've been through a LOT together. But this anniversary finds us counting our blessings more than ever - including each other. We still have our areas where we struggle with each other, just like anyone else, but they become a little less each year. :D This is the cover of an 8x8 hardcover memory book I'm making him - made MUCH more difficult by my hard drive crash. My backup only saved half of my photos. AUGH! :D

Anyway. :D I won't be available today; I'm getting a massage and we're going out to a very special dinner. Have a wonderful day, be sure to tell the people you love that you love them, and take the time to STAMP something. (I may not be stamping today, but I can almost guarantee that a thought or two will sneak into my mind.... :D)

Another blog challenge! :D

Good Tuesday Morning!

Today I start a new Bible study, and I'm SO looking forward to it! So I wanted to share something that I made quickly. I used MY DIGITAL STUDIO to meet this UTAH DIVAS INTERNATIONAL challenge. :D And I really like the way it turned out!

I LOVE MDS because I can move things around easily; if I don't like a stamp I chose to put on there, I just delete it. :) I can make things opaque, I can make things have a shadow, I can play all I want and it doesn't take up my supplies or make a mess. :D (Yes, the studio's in the process of being cleaned up again.... :D )

If you decide to try any of the challenges, please let me know!!! I'd LOVE to see what you're creating! And I've given you several challenge blogs the last few days, so there should be something to choose from for everyone! :D

Have a WONDERFUL day! Be sure and MAKE the time to STAMP something! :)

Sunny Challenge Blog!

Good morning! Happy Labor Day! (Of course, if you work from home, there are hardly ever days off or holidays.... :D)

The girls over at Sunny Challenges are wonderful stampers, and they've started a blog to encourage creativity and - well, let's face it: there are days when your mojo walks out the door. :D Now, I haven't had a lot of trouble with that lately (especially for cards!), but it's served well when I want to procrastinate doing something that needs doing. :D (ROFL! Those of you who know me well, know how true that is!)

Anyway. That's what I'm going to share with you today: my challenge creation!

It was fun - and except for the ribbon addition, is a layout we've often used for simple cards.

Card stock: Crumb Cake, Always Artichoke, Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White

Ink: Always Artichoke, Cherry Cobbler

Stamp set: Many Merry Messages

Accessories: Soft Holly Stampin' Around standard wheel, Whisper White 1/4" grosgrain ribbon, modern label punch, 1/2", 3/4" and 1" circle punches, red glitter paper, dimensionals, Snail

Combines some of my favorite things - bling, Christmas, and holly! :D

Let me know if you try this challenge - I'd love to see your creation!

I don't know about the weather where you are, but we're at 62 degrees and rainy here in the Nashville area because of the tropical storm!!! Makes for GREAT fall weather, but I know Labor Day is "supposed" to be the last hurrah of summer. :D I have to tell you, I'm lovin' it! It's GREAT stay-inside-and-create weather. So. Be SURE and take the time to STAMP something!!!!!

I need your help!

If you know anyone in the Nashville area, please pass this notice on to them. First-time actors to highly experienced are welcome!!!!!

Saturday with the Stampin' Sisters in Christ!

Hi, everyone! I decided to look up some of the old challenges I've done, and I've been so out of the loop that I'd neglected the Stampin' Sisters in Christ! There are some INCREDIBLE cards for this challenge; I'm not *thrilled* with this one, but I do love the colors, so I thought I'd go ahead and enter this. Just to put it out there, and do some stamping while I'm TOTALLY procrastinating some other stuff I SHOULD be doing. :D

Card stock: Early Espresso, River Rock, Whisper White

Ink: Versamark, Early Espresso

Stamp sets: Blessings from Heaven, Fabulous Florets

Accessories: Embossing Buddy, heat tool, Whisper White satin ribbon, Early Espresso glitter brad, designer label punch, dimensionals, Snail

So, I chose ribbon, brad, and popped image for my three. :) I don't care for the ribbon, I think, is the thing. But what do YOU think???

OK, I'm off. I really can't put off everything too much longer. :D Have a WONDERFUL Labor Day Weekend, be safe, and be SURE to take the time to STAMP something! :)

New challenge card

Good morning! It's FRIDAY! It's our first day of teaching, too, so I suspect we'll be pretty wiped out by the end of the school day. :D

Ink: Daffodil Delight, Bermuda Bay

Holiday Mini, and MY DIGITAL STUDIO contest from Stampin' Up!!!!

Good morning! Happy September! (Where HAS the year gone?!?) It's that time of year again - yes, that's right, the HOLIDAY MINI is up and open for business!!! May I just say (AGAIN, for those of you who read regularly! :D) that it would be far easier for me to list what I don't want from this Mini, than to list what I do want?!? :D

One of the MAJOR items in this Mini is the new Simply Scored Scoring Tool (featured on pages 6-7 of the Holiday Mini, item #122334, $29.95). It is AWESOME!!! I'm really enjoying using it to create lots of things - including today's sample. :)

Medallions are coming back in a big way, and using the Simply Scored makes it sooooooooo easy! (Also used IN THE GARDEN DSP, Wild Wasabi, Whisper White, Melon Mambo embossing powder, heat tool, embossing buddy, Boho Blossoms punch, the biggest circle punch, Big Shot, Petals-a-plenty Texturz Embossing Folder, modern label punch, Versamark, dimensional, Crop-a-dile, gold glass glitter.) I mean, how easy is this? And only the word stamp was inked at all! :)

Second thing I wanted to tell you about: Stampin' Up! is hosting a MY DIGITAL STUDIO contest! Here are all the details:

Yes, the card stock is torn. :) It's FALL, isn't it??!! Well, it's GETTING there. Except that locally, the first of September's going to be back up to 100. :D

Christmas and Scrapping!

Hi, everyone! I hope you had a great weekend - does anyone else have the problem that your weekends are so packed, you're not rested??? UGH! :D

Anyway. This is a 6x6 card from our CHRISTMAS IN JULY class; you could easily put a family photo on the front, or simply leave it blank for simplicity's sake.

The bottom photo is the inside; the greeting is right where someone could put a photo from their Christmas celebration! To use as a 2-page 6x6 layout, they'd simply cut down the fold. Voila!

Colors are Sahara Sand Cherry Cobbler, and Early Espresso.

OK, time to get busy again! :) I hope you're having a WONDERFUL day - and be sure to take the time to STAMP something!!!!

Now, then. On to today's share - and next week I can start sharing the cards! :D

Today's share is from the CHRISTMAS IN JULY class; it's a simple tag, cut with my new Two Tags Die. I really like this die, but haven't played with it enough yet. :D

This is the outside; the inside is below.

Card stock: Very Vanilla

Ink: Cherry Cobbler, Versamark, Chocolate Chip

Stamp sets: Tags Til Christmas, Fabulous Phrases

Accessories: Big Shot, Two Tags Die, Chocolate Chip Polkadot Ribbon, Cherry Cobbler Embossing
Powder, Embossing Buddy, heat tool, stamping sponge

See? Super simple, super cute, almost totally flat so you can put on a gift and ship!

OK, I'm outta here. Miles to go before I get a break. LOL!! Be sure and take the time to STAMP something - and come do it with me!!!! :D

I keep forgetting to show this off to you!

Yes, that says ten. As in ten years totally completed! Stampin' Up! doesn't consider you to have been with the company the same way we count birthdays. :D I joined in June 2000! And yes, those are diamond chips. :)

It's been a lot of fun, and I've met some incredible people along the way. I've used a lot of card stock and adhesive, and may have ended up wearing just about as much ink as I've put on paper.... :D

Thank you for being a part of my journey. I love hearing from you! Every time you leave me a comment, it's truly "blog love". :D (Hint, hint.... :D )

OK. Today is staff and student orientation at the school in which we're going to be teaching. :D I need to go wash off some of this ink.... :D

Have a wonderful day! Be sure and take the time to STAMP something!

Wednesday, August 24, 2011

It's late, but it's still Wednesday! :D

Hi, everyone! I'm having a hard time remembering what I've posted, what I CAN post, and what I've photographed but can't post because the class is upcoming. LOL!!!! I thought I'd already posted this one, but I haven't found it yet, so.... :D

This was a hostess club card we did in July. I just LOVE these new IN COLORs together, and this new stamp set!!!

Card stock, ink colors: Calypso Coral, Lucky Limeade

Stamp sets: Field Flowers, Blessings from Heaven (inside)

Accessories: Big Shot, Top Note die, stamping sponge, Stripes Texturz Embossing Folder

It's simple, it's happy, and it's easy. :D What more could you ask for?!?!? I really, really love both of these new stamp sets, too!

Don't forget: if you're going to order the DESIGNER SERIES PAPER special (buy 3, get one FREE!), you don't have much time left! And if you're local and want to order with me, orders are due FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK, I'm off!! I've been working HARD to get classes together, and I've worked with one of the new products available in the new Holiday Mini - which most of you should have received by now, if you were on my mailing list. Didn't get it? Want one? Email me at poohisstampin@aol.com, or call me at (615)497-4532, and let's see if you were on my list, or if I'm gonna send it right to you! Anyway. :D It's the Simply Scored Scoring Tool, on page 7. I love it!!!!!! I need to get some more markers, and I LOVE the stylus - it's really comfortable to use. I'm telling you, everyone's going to NEED one!! :D

Now, go take the time to STAMP something!!!!!! I DEFINITELY am.... :D

I think you'd LOVE MDS!

Hi, y'all! BOY, is it hot out there today! I'm so glad I'm done running around for the day. PHEW!!!

Now, then. Those of you who haven't purchased MY DIGITAL STUDIO may not be aware of how awesome the program itself is; it also is constantly being improved and updated. Lately, there were a few new items added to the project pool; I am in love with the TRIFOLD card!

This is the first one I made. I also took a photo of the "background DSP" versus a piece of card stock so you could see how the colors line up.

Now the colors look different because of the way it's standing by itself; the light's hitting the panels at different angles. And just so you know: you can decorate the BACKS of the card as well.

I had such fun designing this card! It's almost fall! YEA! (Someone PLEASE tell the thermometer that, would you???) There are stamp sets available for MDS that are retired, as well as from the mini catalogs and current IB&C. Accessories ribbon, stitch lines - it really IS a studio for designing just about anything you want. It's NOT just for scrapbooking!! :)

Now, then. I still recommend that you print through Stampin' Up! if you want TRUE color and page size, but I'm pretty impressed with the way our new Kodak printer handled this one. Here's a picture of the More Mustard card stock with the card corner, so you can see the colors against each other:

It was also printed on Very Vanilla versus Whisper White, so that's probably a little of the difference.

OK, it's time for me to get busy!! OH, I forgot! There's a GREAT support site for MDS here, and there's an online "year to date" catalog of all the available releases for MDS here.

NOW it's time for me to get busy. :D Have a WONDERFUL day, and be SURE to take the time to STAMP something! AND COME STAMP WITH ME - check out my class schedule HERE!

Monday, August 22, 2011

Happy Monday! :)

I tell you what! I am a stampin' FOOL these days - trying to get as far ahead as I can with designing, so when I start directing my show in two weeks, I won't get too overwhelmed at first. :D Which means I can't show you everything new showing up in my studio - but I can show you one or two things. :D

Paper quilling seems to be making a comeback! There was an article in the demonstrators' magazine from Stampin' Up! - Stampin' Success - about it this month. There was a card in there I think we'll be doing at classes for Valentine's Day, because it's super simple and cute! However, I wanted to put my hand to it right away.

Beverly Polen had a design on her blog for a full flower like this; I wanted to make a medallion (partly because I still had all the Wild Wasabi scallop circles from the Can It Forward! day :D), and this is what I came up with!

Card stock: Wild Wasabi, Rose Red, River Rock, Very Vanilla

Ink: Early Espresso

Stamp sets: Many Merry Messages, Delightful Decorations (inside)

Accessories: Large scallop circle punch, paper piercer, Big Shot, Stripes Texturz Embossing Folder, dimensionals, Tombow Multi Glue, Snail.

I know the colors aren't what we think of as "traditional" colors for Christmas, but I REALLY like the way this turned out. It's very calm, and a little elegant. And for my first attempt at quilling, I think it's pretty OK. :D

All right! I'm off to do some more stampin'! I hope you're having a great day - and managing to take the time to STAMP something!!!

Friday, August 19, 2011

Frilly Friday! :)

Here's another card from the LET'S GET PUNCHY 4 class to round out the week. :) I think this was probably the favorite from the whole class; it's just a happy card!

Card stock: Marina Mist, Whisper White, Bashful Blue, Cherry Cobbler

Ink: Bashful Blue, Marina Mist

Accessories: round tab punch, 3/4", 1", and 1-3/4" circle punches, Big Shot, Petals-a-plenty embossing folder, Paisley Petals DSP (Don't forget to order your DSP while it's on special this month: buy 3, get one free! Just click here and go to SHOP NOW to order!), scallop circle die, large scallop circle punch, white grosgrain ribbon, stamping sponge

OK, y'all, it's frilly AND fabulous. :D And it's Friday - one of my last free ones for a while! :D So I'm off. Be SURE and take the time to stamp SOMETHING - I'm already working on samples for next month's classes! :D

Dress up your stuff!

So, Saturday was the Second Annual National Can It Forward! Day. I didn't hear about it last year, but this year - thanks to FaceBook! :D - I got in on it early. No benefits - no coupons, no recognition - but a chance to pass on knowledge that's in danger of being lost. Most of you know I really enjoy seeing people learn - and we had a GREAT time. :)

Everyone got to make covers for their jars - this was my sample jar; I also made labels for everyone to put on their jam. The circular label was from the organization group; they meant for them to be printed onto labels and stuck to the top of the jars. I, however, had another idea. :D

We used the Big Shot to cut out the fabric. I can remember, when we were little, Mom using pinking shears to cut fabrics when she wanted to dress anything up. It took a long time, and trust me, cutting that much hurts your fingers and hands! That's one of the things I LOVE about the Big Shot; it makes things SO much easier. :) Mom had found a box of plaid fabrics; I cut what I wanted to gifts way before Saturday, so anyone who wanted more than one scallop circle could use whatever they wanted - and some of the ladies cut quite a few! :)

(Did you know? With the new hostess plan, you can get your Big Shot for HALF PRICE! Just host a qualifying party, and you can get ANY item Stampin' Up! sells for half price! Book your party now!!!!)

The scallop for the hang tag is the largest scallop circle; after I printed out the "label", I punched them out with a circle punch. I could only punch out every other one because of spacing, but it still worked. And the colors in their logo matched Wild Wasabi! :D We used silver elastic cord for the hanging part.

See how you can use paper (and your other toys tools) to decorate things around your house, to freshen up your look for pennies - and be able to change it again easily!

DEMOS: I've heard your pleas for info about the dominoes. I'll be making a video tutorial just for you this weekend. :)

OK, I'm outta here. I'm going to be stamping - are YOU? Be sure to take the time to STAMP something!!

SNEAK PEEK!!!!

Most of you know that the HOLIDAY MINI is about to arrive in your mailboxes. You should be VERY excited - and SAVING EVERY PENNY YOU CAN. :D Let me say this: it would be easier for me to make a list of what I DON'T want!!!! AUGH! :D

The sneak peek here is the 1x8 cello bags. They will come FIFTY in a bag for just $2.50!!! Can you say GIFT POSSIBILITIES THAT ARE ENDLESS?!?!?

The set is GOT TREATS, one of my favorites to use for smaller treat-type items. That's Tangerine Tango embossing powder and card stock, Basic Black and Daffodil Delight rounding out the project.

Don't you just LOVE it!! And you KNOW these will figure into classes this fall. :) Make plans NOW to order, and order early, so you can use them for Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, Valentine's Day - can you see the potential?!?!? :D

Tonight's LET'S GET PUNCHY 4, so tomorrow will be a card. :D Enjoy your day, and make SURE you take the time to stamp something. I AM!!! :D

Scrabooking Christmas!

Good Monday Morning!

Did you have a good weekend? Kenn's on his way home from visiting his family in Oklahoma; I was super busy, getting to teach a group of ladies how to make blueberry jam. We had a great time!

OK, on to stamping. :) Today's share is from my last CHRISTMAS IN JULY class. It's hard to tell, but this is a 12x12 scrapbook page. You could turn it so the Whisper White strip is at the bottom, but I think this is the way I'd use this page. I'd put my photos on that strip, and put any journaling on the main part of the page, between the snowflakes. :)

To make the snowflakes, I folded a piece of paper so that it was smaller than the die, so the snowflakes would be connected. We used 2-way glue on the back, to make it removeable; the rest, I'm not going to tell you - except in "recipe" format. Come to class! :D

Card stock: Whisper White, Night of Navy

Ink: Night of Navy

Accessories: Big Shot, snowflake die, ribbon lace border punch, Basic Rhinestones, Frost White shimmer paint

OK, I'm off - tomorrow night is LET'S GET PUNCHY 4, and I'm all done with the class prep! So, it's off to design the NEXT class. Quick cards, ladies, one of your favorite classes! We'll have a congratulations card, a thank-you, a birthday, a sympathy, and one that I'll decide when I design it. :D

Have a WONDERFUL day! Be sure to take the time to STAMP something - I am!!!!!

I hope you'll take advantage of this stamp set's sales - $2 of each sale goes toward the research for a cure.

Now, go stamp something! :D I am.... :D (For those of you who are still waiting on the birthday card contest: I'm still waiting to hear if the photos on my hard drive are going to be able to be saved. If not, that's a lot of time to re-shoot. I don't want to have to re-do it unless I HAVE to! :D THANK YOU for your patience!!!)

Oh, yes, I'm here - EARLY!!! :D

And this is a 3D project, from our CHRISTMAS IN JULY class!

It's a domino, painted with white acrylic craft paint. The stamp set is GREETING CARD KIDS. It's edged with gold glass glitter!

My dad drills a whole box of dominoes for me whenever I need to purchase them. :) He's a nice dad!

If you're a demonstrator and want more details, please email me at Poohisstampin@aol.com. If you're not and want more details, LMK and I'll work up a tutorial you can purchase!

I love doing 3D projects, especially ones you can WEAR! :D Tomorrow's post will be another CHRISTMAS IN JULY post! Stay tuned! :D

Now, go stamp something - I've got to go clean up the studio! AUGH! :D

Two days in a row! Really? :D

Guess who! :D It's been an interesting week, for sure - and I'm working on next week's Let's Get Punchy! class - some great things to show you!! I hope you'll come play with us - just RSVP by Friday night.

This is another card from the Fancy Folds class; it's a center step card; the template came from fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrator and INCREDIBLE artist, Connie Babbert. I highly encourage you to go check out her blog!

Anyway. As part of the class, I gave out handouts with measurements for the panels, too. :) Here are the "ingredients"!

Card stock: Marina Mist, Certainly Celery, Bashful Blue, Whisper White

Ink: Whisper White Craft, Certainly Celery, Bashful Blue

Stamp sets: Field Flowers, Blessings from Heaven, Fabulous Florets

Accessories: wide oval punch, embossing buddy, heat tool, white embossing powder, dimensionals and SNAIL

I really like this color combination; it's very soothing! So. You know I'm stampin' my heart out! How about you??? (And come stamp with me next week!)

SO many technical difficulties!!

Hey, y'all!!! WOW, is this summer not going the way I hoped it would!! Now my hard drive has crashed, and I'm working on a laptop - but most of my photos were on that hard drive. AUGH!!!! So, I'm hoping and praying that I'll get my files restored and get a slight upgrade to my tower, anyway....

We had our Fancy Folds class last week; not very many of you are showing any kind of interest in classes. Is it because of what I'm teaching? Give me some suggestions of what you'd come take a class about!!!! (Especially now; we just had to put $1000 into our car! OUCH!!!)

Here is one of the cards we did - and another I did as a thank-you for my aunt and uncle. This is a Technique Junkies card; I REALLY love it! It made me get out my circle cutter and actually LEARN to use it, which I'm really glad about. It's a GREAT tool! (We did the all-neutral card in class.) Don't forget - you can click on the photos to see them at the size I uploaded them! :)

Card stock: Chocolate Chip, River Rock, Very Vanilla

Ink: Chocolate Chip, River Rock, Versamark

Stamp sets: Sincere Salutations, Fabulous Florets, Fifth Avenue Floral, Blessings from Heaven

Accessories: Big Shot, scallop circle die, Circle Scissor Plus and Glass Mat, stampin' sponge, clear embossing powder, embossing buddy, heat tool, gold mini brads, Chantilly Crochet Trim, paper piercer and mat, Manhattan Flower Texturz Plate

And here's the second card; if you see something you don't recognize - the colors are new IN COLORS, Calypso Coral and Island Indigo - then leave me a message! :) I hope you've been inspired, even if it's a little bit. And I DO want to hear any classes you'd be interested in! Now, go stamp something! :D

Mix and match!

Good TUESDAY morning! TONS to do today, so a short post. Oh, BTW, I had yesterday's post all ready to go - but forgot to set it up. Sorry - but it's there now! :D

Card stock: Whisper White, Always Artichoke

Ink: Rose Red, Always Artichoke, Whisper White Craft

Stamp sets: Four Frames, Day of Gratitude

Accessories: Doily Triple Layer Punch, Decorative Label Punch, Paisley Petals Designer Series Paper, Circle Fire Brads, Frost White Shimmer Paint, alcohol, stampin' sponge

This is so far out of my comfort zone! But I think I like it. :D What do you think? I'd love to hear!

OK, off to work some more!:) Have a WONDERFUL day, and be sure to take the time to STAMP something!!! :)

I do so LOVE glitter paper! :D

Good Monday morning! I hope you had a great weekend! We had a really busy, really fun one, and this week's going to be the same. Family and friends coming and going!! :)

If you missed it, the red glitter paper is in the new Idea Book & Catalog. It's SUCH a great way to make your card pop without much work! :D

Card stock: Whisper White, Basic Black

Ink: Real Red

Stamp sets: Fabulous Florets, Fifth Avenue Floral, Fabulous Phrases (inside)

Accessories: Scallop Trim Border Punch, Decorative Label Punch, Red Glitter Paper, Flower Garden Embossing Folder (inside), Dimensionals and Snail Adhesive

I really like the embossing folder for the inside of cards! t adds a lot of punch, but subtly - if that's possible. :D

OK, I'm outta here - lots to do! But please, take the time to stamp something - I am! :D

I just love new toys.... :D

I've got to tell you, the punches make it SO easy to make fun, quick projects - between them and the Big Shot, I can make a few stamp sets look like a million! :D That TEENY TINY WISHES was one of the best investments I've made; many of the people who come to my classes have purchased it, because it's SO versatile and fits in punches well! :D

I made a card very like this one for my friend, Kathy (HI, KATHY! :D) for her birthday; this is the second project we made at the NEW IB&C OPEN HOUSE.

Card stock: Wild Wasabi, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White

Inks: Chocolate Chip, Whisper White

Stamp sets: Four Frames, Teeny Tiny Wishes, Love & Care Hostess-only set from Summer Mini

Accessories: Big Shot, Flower Garden Embossing Folder, Lace Ribbon Border Punch, Decorative Label Punch, Large Oval Punch, heat tool, embossing buddy, white embossing powder

Kathy's favorite color is green, and this is one of her favorite color combos - but I used Certainly Celery for her card. :D

OK, I'm outta here! Enjoy your weekend, and be SURE to take the time to STAMP something! :D Be BLESSED, my friends!

Batting Four for Four!

Can you believe it? :D FOUR days in a row! LOL!!! Here's some more fun NEW items!

Card stock: Whisper White, Island Indigo and Calypso Coral (Both NEW IN COLORS!)

Ink: Island Indigo, Calypso Coral

Stamp sets: Teeny Tiny Messages (I'm SO glad this one's still around!!), Four Frames, Love & Care hostess-only Summer Mini stamp set (the tiny flower)

Accessories: Clear Rhinestone Brad (center of the flower), Doily Triple Layer Punch, Lace Ribbon Border Punch, Decorative Label Punch, Big Shot, Fancy Fan Letterpress Plate, Dimensionals, 2-Way Glue Pen, and Snail Adhesive

This was one of the first cards I made when I received the new IN COLORs; I really think the Island Indigo is going to be my favorite from this year's group, but we'll see. :D (It really does remind me of the color of the water when I was in the Bahamas in January!) Again, the punches are AWESOME - the flower is two of the #3 punches on the punch. (If you don't know what I'm talking about, it's a three-stage punch; you choose which one you want to punch. This is the one with the most cutouts.) Four different stamps and a letterpress plate are the only inking I did!

OK, I'm outta here. :D Have a WONDERFUL day - and be SURE to take the time to STAMP SOMETHING!!!!

Good Wednesday Evening! :D

I'm not late! :D It's STILL Wednesday! :D

Tonight's share is a simple pencil holder. It's a covered can!

Card Stock: Crumb Cake, Chocolate Chip, Pretty in Pink, Whisper White

Ink: Chocolate Chip

Stamp Set: Greeting Card Kids

Accessories: (Although you really can't see it, it's wrapped around the covered can with a Chocolate Chip mat strip...) Just Add Cake Designer Series Paper, ticket corner punch, Dimensionals and Snail adhesive

It really is quite darling IRL! It's a fun stamp set - not new, but you haven't seen it much on here. :D It's really fun to alter everyday items to coordinate with whatever I wish!

I hope you had a wonderful day, and are having a wonderful evening. Be sure and take the time to stamp something - I have today, and I will tomorrow! :D Be blessed!

I wanted to share this super-simple card with you today; I'm so glad FABULOUS FLORETS is in the new Idea Book! It's a beautiful stamp set! And this new lace ribbon border punch - incredible!

So, here you go - and again, I'm including a picture of the inside. I didn't get the words exactly straight or spaced correctly, but you'll get the idea. :D

Ink: Versamark, Wild Wasabi (inside)

Accessories: Wild Wasabi embossing powder, Embossing Buddy, Flower Garden embossing folder, Big Shot, heat tool, lace ribbon border punch, Dimensionals and Snail adhesive

Happy Fourth!

Kenn's using the cameras to go shoot the fireworks, so it's going to be some time before I can get the birthday cards ready to judge. I apologize - we're down TWO cameras, so it's really difficult right now.

However, I DO have something to share! :) This is one of the two cards we did for the NEW IDEA BOOK & CATALOG OPEN HOUSE on Thursday.

This is the front; I really wanted this hostess-only set from the Summer Mini, so it's what I chose for my last party. :) It's called LOVE & CARE; it reminds me of a set we had a few years ago. :)

So, here we go - and a picture of the inside of the card follows, too!

Card stock and classic ink colors (both pads and Stampin' Write markers): Bashful Blue, Real Red, and Crumb Cake

Stamp set: Love & Care

Accessories: Fancy Fan Letterpress Plate, Big Shot, Scallop Trim Border Punch, Dimensionals and Snail Adhesive

Here's the inside of the card....

I made a few more of these with the extra I had cut; when I stamped the flowers in the corners on the inside, I second- and third-generation stamped them, so there are three faint flowers overlapping in each corner.

I hope you are a little inspired! Be sure and take the time to stamp today - I AM!! :D

Monochromatic!

Hi, y'all! I have to tell you: I love stamping monochromatic cards. They make such an easy, dignified card! :)

This is Marina Mist, with the MEDALLION stamp done in Marina Mist as well. The designer label punch is Whisper White; the modern label punch is Bashful Blue. stamped in Night of Navy. Super simple, and great for anyone's birthday!

I don't know about you, but it's been gray and gloomy around here for most of the week. Gloom, gloom. :D

Hope you're having a wonderful week! Take the time to STAMP something!

My Digital Studio - all with my disk from SAB!

Happy Thursday! :D I had a great time designing this card in MY DIGITAL STUDIO! The designer series paper is the yummy Ice Cream Parlor, from the Sale-a-Bration mini; I love having it as a MDS paper, because I don't have to worry about running out of it! I've ALWAYS got it!

The stamps are from the set, BLISS, in the SAB mini - except for the modern label punch and the "thanks". The little flower accents are the same stamp, just made smaller and lightened to 80%. Be sure and look at the picture at its uploaded size. The ribbon behind those smaller flowers? Also from SAB, the ribbon & button pack, Ice Cream Parlor. :D

I really love the colors; Melon Mambo and Pacific Point are two of my favorites, and the punch in Early Espresso with the stamped word in Daffodil Delight just fit right in. Or at least *I* think so. ;D

Thanks so much for coming to check out today's post. I know I haven't posted much lately; I'm not designing NEARLY as much, and this has been a bad year for our health. I've been sick with something almost every day, and Kenn's been really sick for a month. But we're starting to come through the other side, finally! I've also had technical difficulties, but until I can get the money together to replace a card reader, my blogging will be sporadic. But I will try not to be as absent! :)

Thank you to the two or three of you who keep checking on me, too, and miss me. :D I appreciate you!!

Now, go take the time to stamp something! :)
