Wetlands Art Card
Happy Wednesday! :)
So, I decided to get WETLANDS clear mount stamp set in April, and surprisingly, it didn't retire. :D I had this card in my mind for many weeks, until I could clear my schedule - and my studio! - enough to work on it.
That's the NEW In Color, Lost Lagoon. I did direct-to-paper with Whisper White and Lost Lagoon inks, and made sure they were completely dry before I embossed the birds onto the piece. (There was still a LITTLE wet ink, but not so bad, I think!)
The sentiment on the front, and the inside, were stamped in Lost Lagoon and embossed with clear embossing powder. I embossed the birds again on the inside, with white, and then took my finger in some Sahara Sand ink and rubbed along the edges of the image, to make it pop out just a little bit. The baker's twine is Coastal Cabana - I think it matches closely enough, don't you?
I really do love monocolored cards. :)
OK, I'm outta here! I hope you have a wonderful day, and that you make the time to stamp SOMETHING!
