Surprise! :D

Thought you'd catch me sleeping, right? Actually, I wish I was. Kenn's working a super-long day today, and working from morning tomorrow to morning Saturday. And MY schedule's busy tomorrow, too, so I thought I'd take this quiet moment to go ahead and do Friday's post for you. :)

Continuing with our 6x6 layouts. I really love February's! (Appropriate, right? :D)

Yes, that's texturz plating on the Real Red background! Pretty, huh! A simple full heart punch from the BRIDE SPECIALTY DSP and the month round out the page. SUPER easy!

(Please note: if you're just tuning in to these scrapbook pages, please scroll down for the basic info from the start of the book! :) )

We only did frames or matting on I think ONE of the layouts; that way, if we had multiple smaller photos to put down, we weren't SET in the way the page HAS to lay out.

Here's March - again, SUPER simple!

Texture is the fastest way to get a page FILLED. We used the crimper on the Green Galore strip, fastened it to the Gable Green Background, and punched the Glorious Green shamrock with one of the hearts from the hearts trio punch. Again, how EASY can I make it?!?!? :D It's a fresh page, and easy to dress up if you wanna!

OK, I'm off. Last Friday of teaching, for a while, at least. :) Much to do afterward!!!

Have a WONDERFUL Memorial Day weekend, dear ones! Monday SHOULD be April and August, I think. :)

Now, then. Be SURE to enjoy your family and friends, be thankful for those who defend our country and our freedoms - and take the time to STAMP something! :)

I did promise, and here I am! :D

So! We did a class and did a 20-page 6x6 album that covered a year. I'm going to start showing you that album; when the month is a one page piece, I'll show you TWO. Where it's a two-page layout, I'll show you one month. :) Deal?

Here's the first one: the title page. Now, remember: you can always dress it up, but we did this album in EXACTLY 2.5 hours!

We used Sahara Sand ink and card stock; the months are the FULL CALENDAR stamp set - and they and the modern label punch are the consistent pieces on the book. The DSP is from ISLAND OASIS (Summer Mini).

Here's JANUARY!

Whisper White and Bashful Blue make this page cool and crisp, just like a wintery day! :) The stamp is from the level 2 hostess set, CHRISTMAS PUNCH - only available for another month, y'all!!!!! The "January" is stamped with Not Quite Navy. Quick, simple page - but definitely ready for one or several photos!

OK, I'm off. Tonight is the awards night and fine arts display for our school, and Kenn's working - so I get to "represent". :D Tomorrow morning, I'll be off to take photos for them of their last day. And if I get WET, someone's gonna HEAR about it!!!!

Have a wonderful day - and be SURE to take the time to STAMP something!!

This is just getting silly!

I had this one all set up for you, and it vanished! ::::sigh:::

ANYWAY. :) This is a baby shower invitation I made for my friend from church, Katherine. She and her husband are expecting their first baby (a girl!) in August. They've registered for two kinds of ladybugs, but she liked the pink-and-brown ones best.

AHA! :D

Yes, the background designer series paper was from the Occasions Mini - Sending Love Specialty - but I had JUST enough to do the invitations, so I used it. :D

Card stock: Very Vanilla, Chocolate Chip, Pretty in Pink

Ink: Pretty in Pink Craft

Stamp set: Teeny Tiny Wishes

Accessories: regular hole punch, 3/4", 1-3/4", and 1" Circle punches, modern label punch, clear embossing powder, Sending Love Specialty DSP, dimensionals, 2-way glue pen

This is a LOT of punch work, but they really are adorable. :D

OK, I'm off. I'm going to get another post up for you today! :) So, while you wait, why not take the time to STAMP something???? :D

I could have sworn I posted this one!

But I didn't, so here you go! :) It's another TECHNIQUE JUNKIES technique!

It's SOOOOOOOO shimmery - it's called Shimmer Mist Watercolor! :D

Card stock: Regal Rose, Elegant Eggplant, Whisper White, Vellum Cardstock

Ink: Elegant Eggplant, Regal Rose, Bordering Blue

Stamp set: Simple Friendship

Accessories: Frost White Shimmer Paint, alcohol, clear embossing powder, 1-3/4" circle punch

Super simple, and SO fun! It would REALLY be a great background for the new stamps in the Summer Mini (click on the picture on the right-hand side to download!) called A LITTLE BIT OF MAGIC!

OK, I'm off again - I'm still playing catch-up. Phew. :D Have a WONDERFUL day, and be SURE to take the time to STAMP something!!

It's really pretty IRL, too! :D

OK, I'm outta here! Have a WONDERFUL weekend - and be SURE to take the time to STAMP something!!!

Delayed, NOT defeated! :D

So, it's a little past quittin' time for most folks - but I'm STILL running around like the proverbial chicken! :D
Here's a share from Tuesday night's Advanced Techniques class!

Isn't it CUTE? Sorry it's kind of hard to see the shoe itself, but I've shown you this type of card before. :) The rosette is what was from the Advanced Technique part.

Card stock: Whisper White

Ink (inside): Melon Mambo

Stamp set (inside): Sincere Salutations

Accessories: Sticky Strip, circle punch, Melon Mambo polka dot ribbon, hole punch

It is SO cute in real life!

OK, I'm off - I know, it's a short post. I'm leaving tomorrow right after teaching my photography class, so I need to get a BUNCH of stuff done before I settle down tonight. No rest for the wicked, you know! :D

Have a WONDERFUL evening! And be SURE to take the time to STAMP something!

Happy Wednesday to you!

Are you having a wonderful day? Is it sunny where you are? It's my PERFECT weather here - 68° and sunny, with a nice breeze. :)

But you're not here for the local weather report! Let me share those other two projects with you!

This is about lifesize! :)

Card stock: Summer Sun, Vellum (card stock)

Ink: Basic Black

Stamp: All A-Flutter (Summer Mini!)

Accessories: Chocolate Chip Corduroy Button, Dimensionals, paper snips, Scallop Circle Punch, Stampin' Pastels, mint patty :)

Isn't it FUN? Such a cute little party favor - you could put them on skewers and make an arrangement for a centerpiece, too!

Next one! :)

Although I stamped "celebrate" from CELEBRATE EVERYTHING inside, most of my stampers left it blank, to use as a "thank you for your service" card. :)

Card stock: Whisper White, Night of Navy, Real Red

Ink: Night of Navy

Accessories: Red, White, & Blue Stampin' Around Jumbo Wheel (Summer Mini!), Real Red grosgrain ribbon, star brad (SPECIAL going on this month - email or call me to find out more!), dimensionals

It's a SUPER simple card, but I really like it. :)

OK, I'm off - still busy, busy, busy. :) Have a WONDERFUL day - and be SURE to take the time to STAMP something!!!

Today's not done! :D

I'm HERE! Two days in a row! :D And part of tomorrow or Thursday's chores is going to be getting a few blogs up for you, like normal - until "normal" happens again. :D

SO! Here is one of the three projects we made at my hostess clubs this week! I'll show you BOTH of the others tomorrow - I want to get this posted, so I can get it up today! :)

It's a birthday card - but you could stamp any sentiment inside that you wish!

Card stock: Certainly Celery, Pretty in Pink, Very Vanilla

Ink: Certainly Celery, Pretty in Pink, Bashful Blue, Apricot Appeal (Stampin' Write Markers)

Stamp set: Watercolor Trio (clear mount)

Accessories: (I ♥) Big Shot, oval frame die, SU! acrylic blocks

SO simple, SO pretty. I think this was a hit - we all need more birthday cards, right? :D

OK. I'm on a roll now. :D I'll see you tomorrow - tonight is ADVANCED TECHNIQUES!!!! Stay tuned to see what we did! (I've got one, especially, that I LOVE....) Now, then. Take some time and go STAMP something, would ya?!?! :D

I've been BURIED!

I'm sorry. I know you miss me when I disappear - thank you to all of you wonderful friends who sent emails, worrying about me. I've been totally buried, worried about myself, and wondering if I'd ever get to the top of the stack again.
EVERY surface in my studio looked like this. And I do mean every. Look: there's household stuff, stamping stuff, clothing for one of my flood victim friends, photography business stuff - the empty spot here on this end of the table? That's where I picked up my camera from.
I'm VERY sorry. Not only did the flood disrupt our lives for a while, it's continuing to mess up scheduling - I've had to move a class to make room for the rescheduled photography class night, yaddayadda. I just haven't been able to keep up.
I feel like I'm getting there now, though! Had a scrapbooking class Saturday, a party last night and tonight, and an Advanced Techniques class tomorrow night. So I've got lots of things lined up to show you - just have to do the photography, the clean-up, and still a bit of designing. ;)
SO! Come back and see me tomorrow, and I'll start showing you some great things YOU can easily make - or maybe you'll want a class of your own! :D
THANK YOU for being faithful! Next month's the Annual Birthday Card Contest, and I promise the prize will be great. :)
Have a wonderful day! Take the time to stamp SOMEthing - you KNOW I am! :D

Giving YOU a chance to help out!

There are SO many ways out there for you to be able to help - texting the Red Cross, donating to food and fund drives - but I'm giving you ANOTHER way to help!

This box is very similar to the Top Note box from last year, but it IS a square box, very durable. I'm going to work on putting together the tutorial for it this weekend; HOPEFULLY, by Monday, I'll have it and the kit contents ready for you to be able to paypal for. All proceeds (unless you purchase a kit, then I have to pay for the contents of it, but after that small fee) will go to the Tennessee Flood Relief effort.

Even if you don't need another box tutorial, I'm hoping you'll donate the small fee to help! Pass this on to anyone you know; even if someone's not a paper-crafter, they probably know someone who IS!

OK, I'm outta here! :D I hope you're having a WONDERFUL day, and that you'll take the time to STAMP something! (And think about doing this to help someone! :D)

MY DIGITAL STUDIO - it's been awhile!

This is done COMPLETELY with MDS. There are some fantastic new downloads - and you can get bits and pieces of MDS for use with other scrapbooking programs, too! Ask me about it! :)

(Don't forget, you can click on the photo to enlarge it!)

HAPPY CINCO DE MAYO!

I'm outta here! :D Have a WONDERFUL day - and be SURE to stamp - or, this month especially, SCRAP! - something!!!!

Same stamp set, different look! :D

Good afternoon, y'all!!! How are you today? I hope you're praying for those who've been devastated by our flooding here in Tennessee; if you're not in the area, the national news hasn't really said anything about it. It's AWFUL! So, if you get a chance, take a look at the Nashville news, and if you can help out in any way, PLEASE do!

So! On to today's share! I'm going to just tell you what's different from yesterday, versus retyping everything. :D I think you can figure it out pretty easily from the "ingredients" - but, as usual, if you have ANY questions, please don't hesitate to ask me!:)

Card stock: Whisper White, Summer Sun(R), Only Orange(R), Garden Green

Ink: Summer Sun (R), Only Orange(R), and Garden Green Stampin' Write Markers

Stamp set: Watercolor Trio

Accessories: Big Shot (I HAVE to say it today! I ♥ My Big Shot!!), Petals-a-Plenty Texturz folder, SU! Top Note Die, paper snips, dimensionals

Isn't it PRETTY? Summer Sun was my favorite yellow, so I wanted to do a pretty card with it for you. :) (I'm also trying to figure out what to do for my mom for both her birthday and Mother's Day!!!)

OK, I'm off. :) Have a WONDERFUL day - and be SURE to take the time to STAMP something!

Summer Mini - some great new stamps!

Good morning, everyone! :) How are y'all today?? If you're in Tennessee, PLEASE let me know you're OK! Allison, are you stuck on your mountain??

The new SUMMER MINI has gone live! As soon as I can get it, I'll put the link to it in the sidebar. :) But for now, you'll have to settle for this card I made, JUST for you!

(My camera is beginning to give out. It was our first professional-grade camera, and I love it because it's QUIET. )

Card stocks: Pretty in Pink, Certainly Celery, Perfect Plum (ALL going to be in the new IB&C, in the SUBTLES group!), Whisper White

Ink: Pretty in Pink, Certainly Celery, and Perfect Plum Stampin' Write markers

Stamp set: Watercolor Trio

Accessories: Big Shot (:D), SU! Backgrounds 1 plates, large oval punch, dimensionals, standard texturz silicone pad, standard texturz impressions pad

How to: Using assorted markers, color in stamp. (This is a clear-mount set - I sure do have fun using them! :D LOVE our blocks!) Breathe on stamp, to make sure ink is moist; stamp on Whisper White card stock.

(This piece is cut at 1-5/8"x31/2".)

Color word stamp with Perfect Plum Stampin' Write Marker; stamp on scrap Whisper White. Punch out with large oval punch.

Mount flower stamped image on Perfect Plum card stock (1-3/4"x3-5/8"), then onto Certainly Celery (1-7/8"x3-3/4").

Run Pretty in Pink card stock through Big Shot with Texturz plate. Adhere matted flower image to Pretty in Pink card stock; if interior stamping is to be done, do so. :D

Using two dimensionals, adhere oval punched saying to front of card.

Easy, and SO pretty! If you like this set, I'd order it and any colors that are retiring SOON, so you'll be sure to get everything you want~! :)

Have a WONDERFUL day! Be sure to STAMP something!
