Phew, what a week it's been! I've changed out all the samples on what I'm calling "Inspiration Station" - where any of my customers can look at the samples I have out, pull out different samples, and look at both books and magazines to get MORE ideas.

Sometimes I get stuck for ideas, too. Besides different galleries and blogs online, I like to leaf through Paper Crafts® magazine and through all my old samples. I'd love to hear what you do when you get stuck!

Cute, easy Easter Basket!

Hello, world! I don't have a CLUE as to whether anyone's reading my blog or not, but here's another really cute idea! The only thing is, you're going to have to EMAIL ME for the directions! :)

It's made out of one piece of 12"x12" card stock - no cutting involved on the card stock! - and four squares of two different designer series papers. I'm thinking it will be a great idea for other holidays, too - we did a different basket for Christmas last year, but this would work beautifully, too. We'll just have to see, now, won't we. :)

IF anyone was going to come to my Easter stamp camp, we were going to make this basket. :) I haven't had a great turnout for a stamp camp in a while, so I'm going to start teasing you!

If you want the pattern, it's easy - and my thanks to a fellow Stampin' Up!® demonstrator, Paula Goff, for sharing the pattern.

Sorry I couldn't post yesterday!

Ken took my card-reader for my flash card, so I couldn't post the picture I took! :)

I spent some time yesterday getting ready for my 10/10/10 on Monday. I've got three designs done and cut, and just have two more to go. (If you're interested in my class schedule, please go here to view it: http://poohisstampin.stampinup.net/Events.aspx

So, this photo is what my designing and prep area looks like on a GOOD day - when it's a whirling dervish kind of day, it looks ten times worse!

When are YOU gonna come stamp with me???? :)

Just for ME!

I'm working on a new project today, one just for ME. :) I so often scrapbook or stamp for something or someone else - our tenth anniversary so we can share with others, designing for a class, etc - that I decided to start a new project. I've been working on the cover today.

This is the hostess-only Simply Scrappin' Kit© from this year, and I used the So Very from this year's Sell-A-Bration, along with some retired letter stamps. The cardstock from the kit was too bright, so I aged it a bit by stippling some white craft ink on it. It's still a little plain for my taste, but I can add something down the road if I find the RIGHT "something". :) Sorry I had to take a photo of it instead of scanning; our all-in-one is out of black ink, and it won't do a THING. Technology! :)
I'll keep you updated as I get to work on this project. Oh, and I'm not sure WHY the top tab looks like it's coming off. It's adhered nicely, I assure you. ;)

Don't tell my hostesses this week!

The lucky girls are going to learn how to make one of these candy bar holders, and receive one as a hostess gift! Aren't they pretty? This is using the Au Chocolat designer series double-sided paper from the Stampin' Up!® Spring Mini Catalog. It's BEAUTIFUL paper! The only other things I needed were the hostess's set, RIVETING, some light pink grosgrain ribbon, and a few punches. I used Versamark and vanilla EP for the chocolate chip middle on the punch, and chocolate chip ink for the rest on the Very Vanilla card stock.

Melissa Lance sent me the photo from SplitCoastStampers, and I followed a link to the following website for the tutorial (Thanks, Melissa!!!!):

I'm a loser at blogging!

I can't seem to keep in my mind which email account I used to create this blog! LOL!
Oh, well. I've been a little busy lately; this was our opening weekend for TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD. It's a phenomenal show; the above are a few of the photos being used for publicity. We're having fun, but I'm SO glad to have a break for the next few days. I'm TIRED!
I have two Stampin' Up!® workshops this week, but I'm looking for hostesses for April! C'mon, girls! Let's earn you some free stuff!!! Don't forget to check out my website - http://poohisstampin.stampinup.net - for ideas in the gallery, my class schedule, etc. :)
If you're interested in coming to the show, please visit www.encore-theatre-company.org for ticket info. I'd love to see you there!
