Life never goes the way it's supposed to! :)

I was SO going to post yesterday AND today - but our internet went down just as I was starting last night - and was down until just a few minutes ago. I'm SO sorry!! SO, I'm going to post two different samples right now - so you can take your time looking at them! :)

Here's the first one....

This is from the last Advanced Techniques class; it's cracked glass on the pinecone front medallion. The set is PEACEFUL WISHES - a set I've wanted for SOOOOOOOOO long, but just got thanks to my dear, wonderful friend Amy :D - done on Garden Green. The medallion is stamped in Chocolate Chip, and matted on brushed gold card stock, then Chocolate Chip.

It's a simple, easy technique! We had a great time - always do. :)

The next sample is from the last Scrapbooking class....

Isn't it pretty? We used the Stems & Silhouettes jumbo wheel in Night of Navy on Whisper White, then used either the craft knife (this is done with it) or paper snips, trimmed out a nice border. Then, we used Dazzling Diamonds glitter in the centers of the flowers to give it a little sparkle, and glued the borders onto Bashful Blue. The mat pieces are also Night of Navy. Simple, easy 6x6 pages that have a little razzle-dazzle - doesn't show in the scan!!! - and are useable for just about any subject matter.
OK, gotta jet - it's time to meet Kenn for some lunch. :) This is the last day of the month, ladies!!! Tomorrow starts June - and it's time for the Annual Birthday Challenge - so be watching and planning.... :)
Be SURE to take the time to STAMP something - that humidity outside will get you.... :)

Amy was here! :)

Good afternoon! :) How ARE you? How was your long weekend - did you get a chance to stamp or create, time for yourself?
Amy was here yesterday to drop off some things she had borrowed, and had some time to waste. :) So, while I was working, she stamped.
This set is TIME WELL SPENT, a Level 3 hostess set - only two more months to earn yours!! If you'd like to host a party and earn LOTS of free stuff for yourself, please email me at poohisstampin@aol.com! She was looking at one of my magazines, and was inspired to do this card. Honestly, this color scheme is not really in my sight, so I'm glad she did it! Old Olive, More Mustard, Ruby Red, and Very Vanilla/ The butterfly is on a dimensional, so he pops up a bit from the rest of the card. Didn't she do a great job? :)
What are YOU stamping??? Show me, tell me, send it to me. Bless someone with a card you send. And be watching for my annual Birthday Challenge to begin this weekend!!!!!
Take the time to STAMP something!

The Slideshow I Promised You!

Hi, everyone! So sorry that I have taken a long time to get this up; I've been trying to find my desk. AUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's been a week-long project - LONG story, but lots to do before I could even start on the desk itself. :D SO. Part of finding the top is getting these scanned in and up for you.

Please note: there are some that use one or two Stampin' Up! things, and ALL images from the company are copyrighted, 1990 - 2008. Thanks. Hate the small print. :D

Anyway! There were some wonderful cards, and I cannot thank those of you enough who took the time to help make my mom's birthday special!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Enjoy! And take the time to bless someone!!!

Happy Monday! :)

Today's card isn't one I did! :) It's a baby shower announcement my customer, Kathy, did for her daughter's shower. Isn't it CUTE????
Kathy used the same colors that Kim(berly) is using for her announcements, Old Olive, Blue Bayou, Soft Sky, and Whisper White.
Kathy's been stamping with me for over two years now - and I just love her work. :) The shower was really nice, too!
Thank you, Kathy, for being such a great customer - but more than that, for being my friend! :)
So, what are YOU stamping? You know, if you share with me, you might end up here like Kathy did! :D
Have a WONDERFUL, blessed day! And take the time to STAMP something!!!!

I'll take that challenge!

Good Sunday afternoon! :) I was blog-hopping today, and came across a new site - http://stampchallenges.blogspot.com/. It's relatively new, but they've got a great design team, AND a new challenge every week. What's not to like??? :D

SO, this week's challenge was a thank-you "something". It just so happens that one of the cards I wanted to show you from a class this week was a thank-you card, done with the ever-popular pinwheel design - so I'm killing those proverbial two birds with this one design. :D
These pinwheels are created with a 1-3/8" piece of designer series paper (DSP) punched with that size square punch. The leaves and stems are from TIME WELL SPENT, a Level 3 hostess set (There's still time to host YOUR party and earn one!!!), and the greeting is from SINCERE SALUTATIONS. The brads I used on this one were retired vintage brads. The colors of card stock and ink are Certainly Celery and Almost Amathyst.
It's really a simple card, with the WOW factor of the pinwheels added. :)
I hope you're having a WONDERFUL weekend, and are taking time for yourself - and to do a little stampin'. :D Don't be a stranger - and leave a comment for me!
Birthday Blog Challenge will be happening on June 1!!! Are YOU ready to play???

It's raining outside, but INSIDE...!

Good afternoon, dear friend! How are you today??? It's bleak here today; very humid, with rain off and on throughout the day. I've been out running errands; this weekend is my Kat's Coffees & More tasting party, and I don't know if ANYONE is coming. BUT I'm going to be making some GREAT stuff - my Sunday school class may be getting a blessing Sunday morning. LOL!

ANYWAY. You're not here to hear my woes and worries! You're here to see the STAMPIN'! :D
This is another card from my Quick & Easy card class. Groovy Guava card stock, stampe with Groovy Guava ink, and Whisper White card stocked stamped and layered with Certainly Celery. Sets? CELEBRATE EVERYTHING and POLKA DOTS & PAISLEY. :) And of COURSE, my favorite ticket corner punch! Fast and EASY, of course!
So, what are YOU stamping??? I haven't heard from you lately! I'd LOVE to see what you're doing - and get ready for my BIRTHDAY CONTEST, starting June 1!!!!! Start thinking, and planning, and conniving.... :D
Have a wonderful day!!!! And take the time to STAMP something!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stampin' CRAZY here! :D

Good Tuesday morning! How are you today? I've already been stampin' today - there's an Advanced Techniques Class here tonight, so I've been scurrying to get the planning finished. There's never an end to that! :D

So, today I'm going to share another Quick & Easy card with you! And it's SUPER quick and easy. :D

The designer series paper is from the Occasions Mini, Summer Picnic. I matted it with Always Artichoke, and put that on a Whisper White card stock base. The "thanks so much" is from SINCERE SALUTATIONS, and on the INSIDE, we stamped the apple from TART & TANGY - also in the Occasions Mini - in Always Artichoke in the bottom corner.

You really can't get much simpler than that - and you can use the layout for lots of occasions, with any DSP, or with any stamped strip. SUPER simple! :) You could dress it up with glitter on ONE of the apples, or a bow and button....

So, what are YOU stamping these days????

Good Monday Morning! :)

How ARE you today? Did you have a good Mother's Day? THANK YOU to all the people who sent my mom a birthday card; I'll be making a slide show later this week to show those off. You all ROCK. :)
Today's card is one from my Quick & Easy Card Class last week; I love the Tart & Tangy stamp set from the Ocassions Mini!!!
The card stocks are Real Red, Mellow Moss, and Whisper White. That's Moss Gingham Ribbon - I LOVE our ribbon! - and white craft ink, along with white embossing powder; the punches are the 1-3/8" and the scallop circles. We colored the stamp with Stampin' Write markers. The "happy everything" is from the HAPPY EVERYTHING stamp set. :D Makes sense, huh?
We did one in this color, then one with the colors reversed - Mellow Moss for the card, red ribbon, etc. They're both beautiful - and fresh! HINT: this is a GREAT Christmas color combination, too! :)
I hope you're taking time to STAMP something! Have a WONDERFUL day, and pass on my blog - the next blog candy giveaway will be at 15000 visitors!!! :D

Happy Thursday!!!!

How are you today? Are you stamping????? We are around here - I had one Quick Card Class this morning, and one this evening. This is NOT a card from it, however.... :D
This card is a birthday card I made for a friend at church, Lori P. (Hi, Lori!:D) Her birthday is later this month, but we celebrated it with Ang's on Sunday - click HERE to go check out my other blog, where you can find the whole story!
Colors are kraft, Basic Black, Whisper White, Mellow Moss, and Certainly Celery card stock, Basic Black ink, and Barely Banana, Bordering Blue, and Mellow Moss Stampin' Write markers. I used my favorite ticket corner punch on JUST the Whisper White. I used my Stamp-A-Ma-Jig to position the word stamps - the "celebrate" is from EVERYDAY FLEXIBLE PHRASES, the "wonderful you" and the flower are from WONDERFUL YOU. :D I really like the lines of this card, very clean color combo. What do YOU think?
Well, that's it for today! :) I hope you're having a WONDERFUL day - and making or taking the time to STAMP something!!!! :)

Wow, really?!?!?

You mean I REALLY haven't posted this month yet?!?!? I could have SWORN I had. I'm SO sorry!! I have a lot of things to share with you, honest!

Like this one! It's one of my workshop projects I mentioned in an earlier post; EVERYONE loved this card. :) We used BOHO BACKGROUNDS in Pretty in Pink for the flowers on the onesie; the punches are the 1-3/8" circle and the scallop circle, and the card stocks are Whisper White and Pretty in Pink. We also used white Basics Eyelets for the "snaps". Isn't it CUTE?!?!? Inside, we stamped "congratulations" from HUGS & WISHES and "sweet little one" from HOLIDAYS & WISHES.

Isn't it super-cute??? Here's another one - obviously for a BOY. :D

Used another stamp from BOHO BACKGROUNDS, this time in Bliss Blue. The punches are Certainly Celery, using the 1-1/4" and 1-3/8" circle punches, and the eyelets are Sahara Sand from the Basics. Oh, and the background is Very Vanilla, even though it's hard to see in the scan. :)

So, no excuse not to have SUPER-CUTE baby shower cards! :D Make a bunch in each, and you'll have them on-hand when you need them. :)

OK, time for me to get busy - I've got a Quick Card Class on Thursday to plan! :D Have a wonderful, blessed day - and make the time to STAMP something!!! :)
