We made it!!! :D It's FRIDAY!
Today's card is for another challenge - by the Paper Craft Crew. It was "Butterflies andDragonflies", using either one. I decided to go REALLY bold! :)
I used three different stamps from the Label Me Pretty stamp set, as well as the punch. Overachiever! :D Seriously, though, it's REALLY easy. The most difficult part? Poking all the pieces of the butterfly die out!
Ink: Daffodil Delight, Black Momento
Card Stock: Daffodil Delight, Whisper White, Basic Black, Vellum Cardstock
Additional: Sponge Dauber, Black EP, Heat Tool, Butterflies Thinlits, Dimensionals and Mini Dimensionals, Multi Purpose Glue
See?!??! It really doesn't get much simpler. My mom loved both cards this week - she adores anything YELLOW. :D
So, I'm outta here!!! I have a wedding to attend! Have a wonderful, fun weekend, and be sure to take a little time to stamp something! :)

LABEL ME PRETTY Week!
Good Monday Morning! Welcome to my second week in a row of blogging. :D I MIGHT miss next Monday, just so you know - my oldest niece is getting married this weekend! :) I MAY get ahead of the ball enough to post, but I'm NOT promising. :D
ANYWAY. This week, I chose the LABEL ME PRETTY bundle to use; It's a great bundle, and there are some great stamps in the set!
This first card is for a challenge from Paper Craft Crew. If you click on the name of the site, it'll take you to this challenge page, so you can see some other layouts (if you're interested).
Additional Stamp Set: Colorful Seasons
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Cajun Craze
Card Stock: Very Vanilla, Chocolate Chip, Cajun Craze
Accessories: Big Shot, Copper Foil Sheets, Pinewood Planks 3D Dynamic Textured Impressions EF, Seasonal Layers Thinlits, Circle Punches, Pearl Basic Jewels, Dimensionals and Mini Dimensionals, Clear EP, Heat Tool
As always, if you have a question on how I did something, please don't hesitate to ask!!!
Take the time to STAMP something! :)
P.S. HAPPY ECLIPSE DAY!!! :D

Sketch Challenge Card
Happy Friday! Are you staying warm?? It's BEAUTIFUL here - brightly shining sun, fluffed cardinals in the trees and feeders - and a balmy temperature of 21! :) (Wind chill says it's feeling more like 10 degrees out there...)
Well. :D What to do to celebrate a Friday, toward the end of January? Make a card that fills a challenge, AND might inspire your Valentine's cards this year. :D
That's red glitter paper again - it's SO perfect for Valentine's Day, don't you think?? - with the silver and gold "foil". I think that name is a bad one for these; it's really shiny cardstock. It's not foil weight!
Anyway. :D That's Real Red, on Whisper White. The only stamp is the "I like you", which is from a FREE Sale-a-bration stamp set! :) I really like this card; it's clean and simple, and gets my idea across. :D
OK, I'm outta here! Have a WONDERFUL day - and be sure to make the time to stamp SOMEthing. STAY WARM!

Another CASE challenge card!
Goodness, how can it be Wednesday already?! :D This year has flown by. It will be over before we know it!
So. Let me see if I can find the card in the IB&C this was CASED from...
(Wow. As I leaf through the book, I realize they focused on BANNERS - a LOT.)
Oh, wait. It was from the Stamper's Success, the demonstrator-only magazine we get. Sorry. If you come over, I can show it to you... :D
ANYWAY. I didn't have the stamp set they used, or the framelits, OR the designer series paper (let alone the twine and brads!) - but I used what I had, made what I needed, and I really like MY version better. :D It's a lot busier than I usually do, but it's a clean busy, which makes me like it. ROFL!
OK, I'm outta here. :D have a WONDERFUL day! Be sure to make the time to STAMP something- don't leave your Christmas cards until the last minute! :D

She Likes Me! :)
Happy Friday Morning! Sorry about flaking on you on Wednesday - by the time I realized I HADN'T posted something, it was time for me to leave for twelve hours. I just couldn't make it happen. Mea culpa.
Hey, do you remember this card I showed you last week? Well, Mary Jo chose it as one of her favorite entries! How stoked am I? :) I really enjoy Mary Jo's work - it's always beautiful! She's also a Christian, and a determined demonstrator. :D So, I had to enter again this week, of course. :D
I actually killed two birds with one stone: this is a card that we'll be doing at Monday's Christmas Quick Card Class - if anyone signs up for it! (If not, I'll be having another PJ day, thank you very much. :D )
Mary Jo's sketch had a sentiment in the bottom right corner, but since I used the tag for my sentiment, I put rhinestones on that bottom corner. It's really pretty IRL! I hope SOMEONE will sign up for the class, so I can do some more of these. :D
Go play along with her challenge! See what YOU can come up with! I'm going to go look at the other entries, now that I've designed my own. :D Have a wonderful weekend! Be sure and stamp SOMEthing!

Challenge Card!
Happy Wednesday! Are you having a good week? Mine's FLYING - busy, busy. :D
Today's share is a challenge card I did for Mary Jo's Monday Lunchtime Challenge. :) You can see the sketch and her team's cards at the link there.
This is a REALLY unusual color combo for me for a Christmas card, but I LOVE it. It's so elegant IRL! Yes, that card base is Smoky Slate! With some Whisper White card stock for the strip and the inside. That specialty Designer Series Paper is from the Holiday Mini, Winter Frost - well, it's beautiful paper, I must tell you. (There's so much from the Holiday Mini I want! AUGH!!!! :D )
The stamp set is a carry-over from last year's Holiday Mini, called Evergreen. And the snowflakes that are stamped and embossed with Iridescent Ice are from Festive Flurry, available in a bundle!
OK, peeps, I'm outta here. :) Still lots to do today! I hope you have a wonderful day, and make SURE to take the time to STAMP something!!! :)

MDS Monday - Uncle Kenn Meets Isaiah
Happy Monday! Sorry about last week. The show is now OVER! :D And we're on the downhill slide to Christmas - can you believe it's already the end of the first full week of October???
This challenge was a color challenge: use Cherry Cobbler, Island Indigo, Gumball Green, Baked Brown Sugar, and Whisper White. I used MY DIGITAL STUDIO, of course. :) I will eventually get all these challenge pages printed into a book. I can't wait! :)
Anyway. This is the first time Kenn met our newest nephew. :) Pretty sweet!
Have a wonderful day! Be SURE to stamp (or scrap!) SOMETHING!

MDS Monday - Always & Forever and Dad
Good morning! I hope you'll forgive me for missing posting last week. I made a whirlwind trip to Indiana, and wore myself out with rehearsals on either end of it, too.
So, the challenge was to use a rainbow's worth of colors on the page. So, I did. All in one pile. :D And I did TWO pages for the challenge, so I'm putting them both here. :D
Aren't they handsome?!? :) MDS is so fun to work with - you really SHOULD check it out. You can download a full 30-day trial. Seriously. Why not? :)
OK, I'm outta here. Rehearsal tonight, and I don't feel like doing ANYTHING. :D Now, go stamp something. I need to!!!!

Now, I AM excited about this challenge!
OK, I love this one! :D Oh, and happy Friday. :D
Is this not a super-easy sketch?? Well, I'm LOVING the Swallowtail stamp from the Spring Mini; I got it to do paper bag scrapbooks with my nieces and nephews, which I'll show you eventually. :D But I've got some rockin' cards from playing with it, too.
This one uses three basic colors of card stock: Tangerine Tango, Whisper White, and Basic Black. The heat embossing is done with Versamark and Tangerine Tango EP. By changing the colors of the layers and using white or black ep, I could totally change the look but use the same three colors! And this would ROCK with Melon Mambo, too! :D Or all neutral - do Sahara Sand, Whisper White and Basic Black, and BOOM.
OK, I'm outta here. :D Have a WONDERFUL weekend - and be sure to make the time to stamp SOMEthing! :)

Meh, A Challenge I Didn't Like to Begin With! :D
Happy Friday!
How are you doing? Have you had a good week? I'm believing we have - it's almost the end of our family reunion week. Believing we've been blessed with making wonderful memories and enjoying every moment! :)
So, this card is another challenge. It's almost exactly like the one we were supposed to CASE - I just changed the stamp set(s). I'm not crazy about the one we were supposed to copy, so I'm not crazy about this one. :D
It's made with Crumb Cake and Whisper White card stock, cut with the Ovals Collection Framelits. I stamped it with the "love you" from SEASONAL SAYINGS and the longer flower from FABULOUS FLORETS. I embossed the saying in Cherry Cobbler, and the flower with part white EP and part Wild Wasabi EP - and I used Versamark to stamp them with.
Last but certainly not least, I used the newest Simply Scored plate to add the texture on the left-hand side of the card front.
I think the color of the card front is what I'm not digging with this, but I'm not sure.... :D What do YOU think?
OK, I'm outta here. Have a WONDERFUL weekend! I hope you have big plans - but I also hope you remember to take the time to STAMP something!!!

By the Sea Challenge Card
It's FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How are you doing? Did you have a good week? Do you have big plans for your weekend? My friend, Becky, from Tales of a Domestic Briefcase, is coming up to spend the night. Tomorrow we finish packing, and Sunday we LEAVE!!!!! AUGH!!!!!!!!!!! :D Prayers are greatly appreciated.
Today's was a challenge sketch. Let me say, big circles bother me. :D I am not crazy about this card, but here it is. :D
The colors are Whisper White, Sahara Sand, and Riding Hood Red. I stamped the lobster (pronounced "lobstah" by those from Maine and their immediate family! :D) from By the Sea in RHR, and offstamped the words in RHR, too. I do like this set! The words are also from it. And that's ALL there is to explain!!! :D
OK, I'm outta here. Remember, I'm pre-posting. Leave me comments, email me, but know how grateful I am that you read my blog!!!!!!!!! :) Now, go stamp SOMETHING!!!!

Sketches are great!
Happy FEBRUARY!!! Can you believe it?!? Wow, time is flying SO quickly! AND it's Friday. Hooray! :D
Today's card share is a sketch challenge from the SUDSOL group. And it's one that I've used for a LONG time - it's great for quick, easy cards - just change the colors, or the paper, or the stamp, or... :D You can step it up, too, by adding embellishments....
See? Super cute, super easy!
Whisper White card stock for the card body, one of the mats, and the central image piece. That's Summer Smooches DSP for the strip; there's also Real Red and Wild Wasabi card stock for mats. the stamp is from EASY EVENTS - such a cute, versatile stamp set! I embossed the tree and grass with black embossing powder (and using Versamark, the Heat Tool and Embossing Buddy!); I colored the heart and the words with my Real Red Stampin' Write marker. The tree and grass I did with my Aqua Painter and Wild Wasabi ink pad; I wanted the uneven coloring in the tree, so it would look like more leaves were in one place than another. :D To finish the card, I mounted the image "medallion" with Dimensionals, and used Dazzling Details on the heart, just to give it a little more punch.
I think it's a cute card! :D
OK, I'm outta here! We're shooting a wedding tomorrow, so I'm not planning on doing much today. :D Except visiting with a friend....
Enjoy your weekend! And be sure to make the time to STAMP something!!

CASE challenge!
Good Wednesday Morning! :D
Have you had a good week so far? Learning your "something new" every day? :D Yeah, it takes a bit of work some days.... :D
This is another one of those challenges from SUDSOL where I can't show you the card I'm supposed to be CASEing. Trust me when I tell you that the colors and stamps are nothing like the original. :D But the layout, and the ribbon, and placement of the sentiment, etc., are the same.
When I got it all together, I couldn't help but think of Neapolitan ice cream. :D My dad, who doesn't like chocolate, thought it was too out of balance with chocolate color if I thought it was gonna be Neapolitan. :D
ANYWAY. I used the Simply Scored with the Borders Scoring Plate for the bottom bit of scallop scoring - and that's Soft Suede card stock. The next layer up is Whisper White, using the scallop edge border punch on the bottom. Then there's a thin bit of Early Espresso; the top piece of card stock is Pink Pirouette, stamped with the cake from MAKE A CAKE in Soft Suede. The sentiment is from TEENY TINY WISHES, stamped in Early Espresso. And that's Early Espresso stitched ribbon. Simple and easy, except for figuring out what stamp to use! :D
So, what do you think? And do you LIKE having the links for the products in these posts?
OK, I'm outta here. Have a wonderful day, and be sure to STAMP something! :)

I'm back! :)
So sorry I seemed to disappear - taking care of Naomi didn't seem to leave much in my daily allotment of brain cells. :D I'm glad you're still here!!!
I'm sharing another challenge scrapbook page with you today. :) I DO have some other things to share, so enjoy this today while I get photos where they need to be, etc. :) It's a bit busier than I normally design, but it was ICE! at Gaylord. So fun! :D
Have a wonderful day! Be sure and STAMP something today! Are you ready for Christmas? :D

Another CASE Challenge!
Good Wednesday afternoon! I've got to tell you, the weather outside my window is completely distracting me. What a glorious day!
So, this post will be short and sweet. :D
Today's another SUDSOL CASE (copy and steal everything!) challenge; it's also from our Stampin' Up!® demonstrators' magazine, so I can't show you the original. But mine's not too far away this time. :D
The detail on the star is further down the page here, so you can see what I did. :D But here's the "recipe"; if you have any questions, ask! :D

Stamp sets: Evergreen, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Card Stock: Whisper White, Night of Navy, Wild Wasabi
Ink: Whisper White, Versamark
Accessories: Heat tool, white embossing powder, Wild Wasabi embossing powder, basic Rhinestones, Merry Moments Simply Scrappin' Kit (DSP), Big Shot, Top Note Die, platinum embossing powder, small oval punch, 1/16" circle punch, Cherry Cobbler baker's twine, corner rounder, SNAIL, dimensionals
It's so much fun to do something unexpected; I've gotten several comments on how great the Wild Wasabi EP looks on the Night of Navy card stock. :D That's what I love about colored embossing powder; it holds its color on any color card stock!
OK, I'm outta here. You know, I still love stampin' after all these years - look how wordy this post is. :D

It's FRIDAY!!! And it's only two day's until Kenn's birthday! (If you want to leave a comment to wish him a Happy Birthday, I'll pass them on!:D) Happy Birthday, Love!
Anyway. :D This isn't HIS card. It's another challenge card from SUDSOL, on a technique - they pick it, you do it and design your card around it. And I really like how this came out!
Card stock: Whisper White, Elegant Eggplant, Wistful Wisteria
Stamp set: Easy Events
Ink: Black Stazon, Wistful Wisteria
Accessories: Scallop Edge Punch, dimensionals, Frost White Shimmer Paint (Yes, it's that time of year when you should ALL invest in another bottle of that stuff! It's wonderful!), brayer, Wistful Wisteria and Elegant Eggplant Stampin' Write Markers
And I designed our Christmas card this week. :D It's gonna take some time to crank them out - but when doesn't it!?!??! :D
OK, I'm outta here. have a WONDERFUL day, and be sure to TAKE the time to stamp something! ENJOY YOUR WEEKEND!

Emboss Resist
Good Monday Morning! WOW, what a weekend I've had. :) I need a vacation from my weekend. LOL
This is a challenge card, although I don't remember what challenge it was for. :D It's an emboss resist on glossy white card stock. I used the flower from FABULOUS FLORETS and clear embossing powder, then took a sponge and sponged randomly with Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, and Melon Mambo. The verse is from TRUST GOD - I really like that stamp set!
I am now at the point where I need to come up with new stuff to show you, until the classes this month are done. :) I think it's time for more challenge blogs! :)
Have a wonderful day! Be sure and take the time to stamp something!

My Father's Day Card for Dad
Good afternoon! Did you have a good weekend? I'm SO tired - I'm working on the phones for an internet company (which I only do on a relief basis, and the assistant is on vacation this week :D), or I'd be going to take a nap. Celebrating for a week takes its toll! LOL!!!
ANYWAY. I wanted to show you a card I made for a sketch challenge that ended up being my Father's Day card!
Isn't it pretty? :D And so simple! That stamp is from a new set I got for FREE with hostess benefits from the New IB&C Open House, called TRUST GOD. The colors are Whisper White, Early Espresso, and Daffodil Delight. The Early Espresso is embossed with the Simply Polka Dots embossing folder.
Any questions? Comments? Let me know!! :D Talk to me!
Have a wonderful day! Be sure and take the time to STAMP something!

Another blog challenge! :D
Good Tuesday Morning!
Today I start a new Bible study, and I'm SO looking forward to it! So I wanted to share something that I made quickly. I used MY DIGITAL STUDIO to meet this UTAH DIVAS INTERNATIONAL challenge. :D And I really like the way it turned out!
I LOVE MDS because I can move things around easily; if I don't like a stamp I chose to put on there, I just delete it. :) I can make things opaque, I can make things have a shadow, I can play all I want and it doesn't take up my supplies or make a mess. :D (Yes, the studio's in the process of being cleaned up again.... :D )
If you decide to try any of the challenges, please let me know!!! I'd LOVE to see what you're creating! And I've given you several challenge blogs the last few days, so there should be something to choose from for everyone! :D
Have a WONDERFUL day! Be sure and MAKE the time to STAMP something! :)

New challenge card
Good morning! It's FRIDAY! It's our first day of teaching, too, so I suspect we'll be pretty wiped out by the end of the school day. :D
ANYWAY. There's a new weekly card challenge blog called Stampin' Queen's Sketch Challenge; I actually got to play this week. :) So, here's the card! (You can click on the link above to go see the sketch itself.)
Card stock: Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Pacific Point, Bermuda Bay
Ink: Daffodil Delight, Bermuda Bay
Stamp set: Field Flowers
Accessories: scallop edge punch, IN THE GARDEN DSP, Big Shot, Beautiful Wings Embosslit, Scallop Circle #2 die, Pumpkin Pie 1/4" grosgrain ribbon, dimensionals, Snail
It's a bright card, isn't it! :) OK, I'm off! Have a WONDERFUL weekend, and be SURE to take the time to STAMP something!!!!
