It's beginning to look a lot like...FALL!

I'm sorry I'm so late posting today; it's been a rough day. But I've been BUSY - look how fresh and clean and FALL-ish the Inspiration Station looks! :)

The Top Note Halloween cards are some cards I won from a sister demonstator last year. A couple of them have last year's Halloween DSP on them, but would be easily convertable. Check them out the next time you come over!

By the time the month is over, there will be lots more samples and things around the Station - but right now it looks GOOD. :D

Don't forget: THIS IS THE LAST DAY YOU CAN SIGN UP TO JOIN THE FAMILY! Just click on that link, and hit the JOIN button! I would LOVE to have you join my team!

Tomorrow is the first day of the HOLIDAY MINI - there are such AWESOME things!!! :) Be sure and come back tomorrow to see a sample or two. :D

Have a wonderful evening, and be SURE to take the time to STAMP something!!!!

September 1 starts the Holiday Mini season!

I can't TELL you how excited I am about the Holiday Mini!!! There are some FANTASTIC new things to play with - including OUR NEW PARTNERSHIP WITH BUILD-A-BEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Be watching for schedule additions if you attend classes with me - we'll be doing a Mommy & Me Workshop all based on the BAB dies! We have clothing, and costumes, and stamp sets besides the dies - your little ones will LOVE these, and there's lots of ways you can make them reusable, so they can play with a set over and over.

I hope you have a WONDERFUL weekend!! Next week, the weather's supposed to be in the mid-70s here in Middle Tennessee - I SO CANNOT WAIT. :D

Make sure you take the time to stamp something - then bless someone with it! :D

It's only 120 Days until CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!

WOW. That's four months, ladies and gentlemen! Have you started planning gifts?

Today's two cards - don't worry, I DO have another 3D item coming up soon! :) - are from workshops this month. They're fun, and simple - there's one for those of us who don't like to color, and one for those of us who do. :D

Card stock: Sahara Sand, More Mustard, Whisper White, Soft Suede

Ink: More Mustard

Stamp set: Autumn Days (inside, Sincere Salutations)

Accessories: Autumn Traditions DSP, dimensionals (inside, Soft Suede Stampin' Write Marker)

See? Simple, yet elegant. Several people mentioned that this would make a good sympathy card, as well.

Card stock: YoYo Yellow, Real Red, Only Orange, Whisper White

Ink: Jet Black Stazon

Stamp set: Just Buzzin' By

Accessories: Assorted Stampin' Write Markers, 1-1/4", 1-3/8". and scallop circle punches

Just a fun, summery, joyful card!!! So simple - and I love this stamp set; the bees are adorable!

OK. I'm off - my desk is a mess, and I'm procrastinating working on it. :D

Have a WONDERFUL day! Please be sure to take the time to stamp something!

More VERY THANKFUL cards! :)

It was really a great class. I hope you enjoy these samples! :)

Card stock: YoYo Yellow, Real Red, Only Orange, Tempting Turquoise, Whisper White

Ink: Jet Black Stazon

Stamp set: VERY THANKFUL

Accessories: Big Shot (Yup, you KNOW it: I LOVE MY BIG SHOT!!!), scallop circle die, 1-3/4" circle punch, assorted Stampin' Write markers

I just love this little guy. How can you not smile when you see him?? :)

If this looks a little familiar, it's because I posted one very similar done with the snakeskin technique from TECHNIQUE JUNKIES in the last two weeks. :)

Card stock: Taken with Teal, Basic Black, Glossy White, Whisper White

Ink: Taken with Teal, Versamark

Stamp set: VERY THANKFUL

Accessories: brayer, Taken with Teal Stampin' Write marker, ticket corner punch, dimensionals

This has a beautiful look to it, due to the glossy cardstock. The Whisper White is actually on the inside; both the brayered piece and the stamped piece here are Glossy. It is temperamental to work with, but such a gorgeous outcome! :)

OK, I'm off - it's Wednesday, and SO much to do!!!! If you're still thinking about joining Stampin' Up!, the special runs out AUGUST 31!!! You can sign up RIGHT NOW online; just click here to join the Stampin' Up! family, get a great deal, and be part of MY team! :) Then click on JOIN; my recruiting password is "pooh0612". :) I'd LOVE to have you on my team!!!!!!!!!!!

No, go sign up and then STAMP SOMETHING! :D

Goodness, where DOES the time go???

Last night was our VERY THANKFUL class, featuring the Ronald McDonald stamp set, VERY THANKFUL. You can find it on the inside back cover of your Idea Book & Catalog; we did one design with each stamp, and each stamped one of each design to give to our local house. Here are two of the cards - ENJOY! :)

Card stock: Whisper White, Basic Black, Melon Mambo

Ink: White craft

Stamp set: VERY THANKFUL

Accessories: Black gingham ribbon, wide oval punch, white embossing powder, embossing buddy, heat tool, dimensionals

On last night's, we actually used white organza ribbon, because I used the last of the black gingham for this sample. LOL!

Card stock: Whisper White, Glorious Green, Green Galore, Gable Green

Ink: Versamark

Stamp set: VERY THANKFUL

Accessories: black embossing powder, embossing buddy, heat tool, ticket corner punch, heart to heart punch, dimensionals

I had a ball with this one - and hearts were flying everywhere! :D It's the CUTEST stamp, but then again, I love turtles. :D

OK, I'm off. Hope you enjoyed today's cards!!!!!!!!! Have a WONDERFUL evening - and take the time to STAMP something, would ya? :D

I've been HIRED!

Sherrill Graf has been with Stampin' Up! for a VERY long time, and has a huge downline. She hires other demos to make samples for her - and pays with merchandise.

I GOT HIRED FOR SEPTEMBER!!! :D

Of course, I've already started to design; I thought I'd share one that won't be in a class in the next few months. :D

Card stock: Very Vanilla, Naturals Ivory, Chocolate Chip, Creamy Caramel, Pumpkin Pie, Summer Sun, Garden Green

Stamp set: Teeny Tiny Wishes

Ink: Chocolate Chip, Really Rust, Dusty Durango, Garden Green, Summer Sun, Creamy Caramel, Pumpkin Pie, Going Gray, Bashful Blue

Accessories: embossing buddy, heat tool, gold embossing powder, aqua painters, Fall Harvest standard Stampin' Around wheel and handle, Basic Brown re-inker in empty standard cartridge

Lots of watercoloring here, but I'm attempting to do my BEST work for you, Sherrill! :) This one is my copy; I'm making one of each that I send her to show you and put on my Inspiration Station! So keep your eyes open! :D

Have a WONDERFUL weekend, and be SURE to take the time to STAMP SOMETHING - it's cheaper than therapy. :D

Advanced Techniques Cards 3 & 4!

Good morning! How are you doing today? Are you glad it's THURSDAY??? Got big plans for your weekend? :) My weeks feel like a slinky going down the stairs; the weekends are the really fast tumble, and the weekdays are more of the slow stretch! :D

OK, on with the cards. Oh, and you've got another Christmas one here; I tell you, it will be time to send them out before you know it!!! :D

Both of these techniques are from TECHNIQUE JUNKIES! :) Tell Pat I sent you! This one's called GESSO OFF - but we used white craft paint. :)

Card stock: Whisper White, Lovely Lilac, Melon Mambo

Stamp set: Christmas Punch (Level 2 hostess-only stamp set)

Ink: White craft

Accessories: sponge brush, water, Melon Mambo polka dot ribbon, wide oval punch, dimensionals

SNEAK PEEK!!!! This stamp set is in the HOLIDAY MINI, which goes live for your ordering on SEPTEMBER 1!!!! :) I can't wait to show you more! Oh, and the technique is called FAUX SANDING. I won't be able to tell you any of the accessories. :D

Only 128 Days Until Christmas!!

It's DEFINITELY time to start on those Christmas cards! :D I can hear you groaning, so stop. ;D

Last night was Advanced Techniques; we had a GREAT time, and you were missed. So, today, you're going to be shown two of the cards, and tomorrow two more. But they're TECHNIQUES, so I can't tell you how to do them, or I'd have to charge you! :D

Just for you, the first one is a Christmas card. :D

This technique is called DAHLIA FOLDING.

Card stock: Very Vanilla, Certainly Celery, Chocolate Chip, Brushed Gold

Ink: Chocolate Chip Craft

Stamp set: Many Merry Messages

Accessories: Merry Moments DSP, 1-1/4" circle punch, round tab punch, small and large oval punches, 1/2" circle punch, dimensionals, heat tool, embossing buddy, clear embossing powder

Isn't it pretty?? :) We had a great time figuring out the folding. :D It's one of those things that comes much easier with practice! :D

Card stock: Very Vanilla, Garden Green, Pumpkin Pie

Ink: Summer Sun, Pumpkin Pie, Garden Green

Stamp set: Teeny Tiny Wishes

Accessories: various brushes, Kind Thoughts Brocade Stencil (small)

We triple-colored the stencil, as you can see. It's a WONDERFUL stencil, and you can bet you'll be seeing more projects with it - and others - in the next few months. :)

OK, I'm off. I have nothing to do but church today, but I still am too busy for words!!!!!!!!! :D

Have a wonderful day, and be sure and take the time to stamp SOMETHING!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D (Kids's foreheads don't count....:D)

Monday, August 17, 2009

Good Monday afternoon! :D

I was PLANNING on posting things from yesterday's party today - but I got a reprieve, and am going to use them for my party on Saturday! :D So NO PEEKS until next week.

However, that left me in a quandary. What to post? So I cranked this one out in five minutes - I think it's time to re-iterate: I LOVE MY BIG SHOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You could make a BUNCH of these for hostess gifts during the holidays, or table favors, or or or! :D This is the Baskets & Blooms XL Bigz die, exclusive to Stampin' Up! - and thank you to Kathy for letting me borrow it! :D

The designer series paper is MERRY MOMENTS - I love this DSP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Besides Sticky Strip, that's ALL I used on this project! You could, of course, fancy it up quite a bit - but I love the clean look of the stripes, so I didn't. :D

OK. I'm off to make something you'll love for tomorrow's post; I'm going to be INCREDIBLY busy tomorrow, so if you try to get ahold of me and can't, that's why. :) Two classes to teach plus a seminar to attend. I'm gonna be TIRED. :D But I can't WAIT for the advanced techniques classes tomorrow!!!!

Now, then. Go stamp somethin', would you? :D

Scrapbookin'! :D

Good morning, everyone! I hope you're having a GREAT Monday. (IF there IS such a thing...!) :D I know you came to see the samples, so on with the show - but watch for an offer I can't believe I'm gonna make! :D

This one's probably my favorite for this month's class; it's SO simple, but I LOVE the way the white just POPS off the page!

Card stock: Taken with Teal TEXTURED 12x12, Whisper White

Ink: Basic Black

Stamp set: Medallion background stamp set

Accessories: white gel pen, modern label punch

THAT IS ALL THERE IS TO THIS LAYOUT! Have I mentioned how much I love this stamp? :D

Of course, I also really like this layout. :D

Card stocks: Whisper White, Glorious Green, Real Red

Inks: Creamy Caramel, White craft

Stamp sets: Many Merry Messages, Dasher

Accessories: White embossing powder, embossing buddy, heat tool

Isn't DASHER a great stamp? If you're not checking out that page of UNDER $10 ITEMS, you're missing out!

OK, I'm off. Keep watching for that offer I'm going to be making! :D And PLEASE, take the time to STAMP something!!!!

Friday, August 7, 2009

Gosh, you guys are gonna hate me!! :D

No, I'm not flaking - just real life has been busy!!! :) So, here are two of the four scrapbook pages we did last night in class. :)

I just love SIMPLE like this! :D SUPER easy. Card stock is Basic Black, and the paper is AUTUMN TRADITIONS DSP. This layout would be great for B&W photos, or several smaller, or or or! :D

This one is unusual for me - and I hate the fact that my scanner bed is 11" long, not 12!!!! ::sigh::
:D

Card stock: Creamy Caramel, Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla

Ink: Chocolate Chip

Stamp set: Branch Out

Accessories: Circle Scissor Plus, glass mat, Chocolate Chip 1/4" grosgrain ribbon, square fire brad, mini glue dot

So, let me know what you think! :D I'll show you the second half on Monday, unless I come up with something way cool over the weekend! :D

Speaking of which, have a GREAT one!!!! And make the time to STAMP something! :D

Thursday, August 6, 2009

OOPS! I could have SWORN...!

I'm so sorry! I thought I had posted yesterday!! I got the picture all ready. Hmmmmmmm....

Oh, well. :D On with the show!

Isn't this a FUN card? Today is my friend AMY'S birthday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, dear friend! This card SOOOOOOOOO reminds me of YOU. :D

Card stock: Whisper White, Melon Mambo

Inks; White craft (inside), Melon Mambo

Stamp set: Simple Friendship

Accessories: regular hole punch, Melon Mambo polka-dot ribbon (LOVE this stuff!!!), THIS SITE- right-click on the picture, and print it.

It's just such a fun, summery card!!!!!!!! :) You can switch it up, glam it up, rough it up - you name it. :) If you do this card in a different way, please send me a scan so I can see it!!! :)

OK, off to work. Have a GREAT day, and PLEASE! Take the time to stamp SOMEthing!!! :D

Tuesday, August 4, 2009

3D Projects!

Good afternoon! :) So, only ONE person had a comment about yesterday's cards? Wow. I feel so lonely! :D

Today, I'm going to show you two 3D projects; the first is one that we did at a couple of workshops, the second is one I did to put into the Inspiration Station - and one like it might be making an appearance at an upcoming class! :)

Stamp set: Teeny Tiny Wishes

Ink: Ruby Red

Accessories: small cello bag (YES, you can order them from me!!!), Autumn Traditions DSP, Big Shot - I LOVE MY BIG SHOT!!!!!!!!!!!, EXCLUSIVE Top Note die, scallop oval punch, wide oval, modern label punch

This is SO simple - it wouldn't take any time at all to do something like this for your child's class, or your Sunday school class, or even for table favors for a party!

Card stock: So Saffron, Chocolate Chip, Always Artichoke

Accessories: Tall Tales DSP, scallop edge punch, scallop oval punch, wide oval punch, small oval punch, Sticky Strip

I just love this little box! It's the PERFECT size for chocolate - or for that little gift. It would also make a great party favor - instead of the elephants I punched out of the Tall Tales DSP, you could stamp or write each guest's name, then punch it out. SO cute, and versatile!

OK. I'm outta here - I can't believe it's Tuesday already! Where is the time flying?!?!? PLEASE leave me a comment, and let me know I'm not whistling in the dark again! LOL!

Have a WONDERFUL day - and be sure to take the time to STAMP something!

Monday, August 3, 2009

I'm BACK!!!!

Phew. There's nothing like your OWN computer - glitches and curses notwithstanding. :D THANK YOU for your patience, and I'm SO glad you're back with me! :)

Today, I'm going to show you FOUR cards: the first two are from the Advanced Techniques class last month (both techniques are from TECHNIQUE JUNKIES!), and the second two are more ideas for that Medallion background stamp that Tory won for my Annual Birthday Card Contest. :)

So! On with the show!

Isn't it PRETTY? This one's called FOSSIL STONE.

Card stocks: Creamy Caramel, Chocolate Chip, Glossy White

Inks: Jet Black Stazon, Creamy Caramel, Ruby Red

Stamp set: Autumn Days

Accessories: sponge, and one other that I can't tell! :)

I really like this card; I didn't know I was going to lay it out this way, so the second time I did this card, the wheat was offset to the left just a bit more, so it showed. I really like this card!

I LOVE this card, too. It's called POLLOCK Technique.

Card stocks: Very Vanilla, Pale Plum, Perfect Plum, Always Artichoke, Watercolor paper

Inks: Pale Plum, Perfect Plum, Certainly Celery, Always Artichoke, Mellow Moss

Stamp set: A Rose is a Rose

That's all there is to it! Cool, no?? :D

This is the card Tory sent me to thank me for her prize - her very FIRST card made with it! (I'm gonna guess at the supplies, but I think I'm pretty close...:D)

Card stock: So Saffron, Whisper White

Ink: Close to Cocoa, So Saffron

Stamp set: Medallion background, not sure if the THANKS stamp is SU! or not....

Accessories: Gold Brad, paper snips, punch

Thank you, Tory. It's a great card, and will go on the Inspiration Station proudly!

Now, this last card uses a retired stamp set - I REALLY need to get another bride & groom!!! But I LOVE this card - and it was a HUGE hit!!!!! :D

Card stock: Very Vanilla, Basic Black

Ink: Basic Black

Stamp set: Medallion Background stamp set, Teeny Tiny Wishes, Life's Special Moments (Retired)

Accessories: Word window punch, modern label punch, double rectangle punch, dimensionals (The ribbon is from her invitation; I just used the extra, so the invite still has ribbon. :D)

Her wedding invitation had a pattern down the side of it that reminded me of the flairs on the outside of the medallion stamp. I masked off that inch or so, and only inked up the top flairs. It worked pretty well! :D

So, tell me what you think about it!! Or about ANY of the cards; I'm thrilled to have so many of you coming back. :) I LOVE my readers and customers; some of you are my best friends, and I'm SO grateful for you!

If you need any information about placing an order or becoming a demo - don't forget! There's a GREAT special going on right now to join for only $85!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - please call or email me! My contact info's in the side bar, if you ever need me!!!

Now, go STAMP something! :D I'm waiting.... :D Have a wonderful blessed day!!!
