Love that medallion!

Here's another card from our thank-you Quick Card Class! I never tire of the medallion stamp; and I love Pacific Point and Whisper White. Such a clean, crisp combination!

As you can see, we used the scallop trim punch on the inside piece. It's the little touches that made an easy card seem a little more grand!

Here's the - and don't forget you can click on the photo to see it larger:

OK, I'm outta here again! :) Hope you're enjoying my being back! :D Have a WONDERFUL day, and be SURE to take the time to STAMP something!

It's Wednesday, and today's a TJ share!

Good morning! It's a beautiful day here in middle Tennessee again; it's getting too warm for me during the days, but there are rumors it's going to be really cool this weekend. :D I'm going on a women's retreat with my church this weekend, so I would LOVE it to be cool enough to enjoy outside! :)

ANYWAY. Today's share is FAUX TILES from Technique Junkies; we did this for an Advanced Techniques class. JUST before the Simply Scored was released - and how EASY this is with that wonderful tool!!!! I'll show you what we did to the inside, too. :D

Card stock: Very Vanilla, Riding Hood Red, Early Espresso

Ink: Early Espresso, Soft Suede, Riding Hood Red

Stamp sets: Medallion, Tags Til Christmas, Many Merry Messages (inside)

Accessories: designer label punch, stampin' sponge, dimensionals, Snail

I really like this card; the medallion stamp makes a great almost Victorian feel to cards. It's simple, pretty, and elegant. In my very humble opinion, anyway. :D

OK, I'm outta here! Lots of designing to do! :) Have a WONDERFUL day, and be sure to take the time to STAMP something!!!!

(Don't forget: you can click on any picture to see the original size!)

Happy Monday!

Did you have a good weekend? I sure hope so! I swear, they get so busy these days!!!! :)

Today's share is another of the color block cards; they're SO fun, and have limitless possibilities!

Now, keep in mind that the color blocks on the Whisper White had already been part of a card; I recycled that part, and matted it with a 5.5"x5.5" Baja Breeze card. So the medallion was stamped and embossed on top of the dimensional-ed color blocks - and it looks aged and worn. Works for me!

I stamped the middle part of the medallion in Pacific Point craft ink, and used clear embossing powder on it. I then punched it out using the 2-1/2" circle punch and used another dimensional to raise it even higher! I know the flash made it a bit difficult to see the rhinestone in the very center, but I couldn't get enough detail without the flash.

The other colors are Pool Party and Not Quite Navy. Isn't it a FUN card? If I wanted, I could use one of the TEENY TINY WISHES sayings, and punch that out with the modern label punch and stamp an appropriate wording inside! :) Easy!

OK, I'm off. It's a rainy, beautiful fall day here in Middle Tennessee, and I'm enjoying every moment of it. :D Neither Kenn nor I have to go anywhere, which is a miracle in and of itself. I'm going to do some baking this afternoon, and some more stamping. :D How about you?? Are YOU taking the time to STAMP something?? :)

Monochromatic!

Hi, y'all! I have to tell you: I love stamping monochromatic cards. They make such an easy, dignified card! :)

This is Marina Mist, with the MEDALLION stamp done in Marina Mist as well. The designer label punch is Whisper White; the modern label punch is Bashful Blue. stamped in Night of Navy. Super simple, and great for anyone's birthday!

I don't know about you, but it's been gray and gloomy around here for most of the week. Gloom, gloom. :D

Hope you're having a wonderful week! Take the time to STAMP something!

Workshop Card in BRIGHTS!

I have to tell you, thinking about colors in whole new combinations is really working for me! Before, More Mustard and Old Olive were the two colors I liked least of all - but now, with them totally separated and in two different groups, I find I like them a lot more. :D

Anyway. Here's another card we did for the Hostess Club parties this month!

Isn't it CHEERY? :)

Card stock: Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, Whisper White, Daffodil Delight N

Ink: Pumpkin Pie

Stamp sets: Medallion, Teeny Tiny Wishes, Word Play N (inside, see below)

Accessories: Designer label punch, 1" circle punch, 3/4" circle punch, word window punch, scallop edge punch, Greenhouse Gala DSP, dimensionals, ticket corner punch

And that, my friends, is that! :D And I'd LOVE to get some parties booked in August. SO, for the first FIVE people who book AND hold the party on their originally-booked date, I will give a stamp set from my stash for FREE. Let's have some fun together!!!

OK, I'm off to finish cleaning off my desk! (I know, those of you who've been here recently, that you're passing out from shock....:D) Have a WONDERFUL day, and be SURE to take the time to STAMP something!

Sparkling and shiny!

Means a bad photo. Sorry, everyone, but you'll have to add your imagination to this photo. :D It's a graduation card from Saturday's Spring Quick Card Class!

Don't forget, you can see any photo at the size I uploaded it by clicking on that photo!

Card stock: Almost Amethyst, Very Vanilla

Ink: Vanilla craft, Lavender Lace

Stamp Sets: Medallion, Teeny Tiny Wishes, Well Scripted (inside)

Accessories: heat tool, embossing buddy, clear embossing powder, Pretties Kit, Tombow Multi Adhesive, Frost White shimmer paint, Regal Rose re-inker, Modern Label Punch, stampin' sponge

You could change the greeting and the inside very easily for a birthday card, a shower or wedding card, or just about anything you can think of! :) It's the shimmer paint mist that made it difficult to get a good photo of this. :D

OK, I'm off! I hope you have a WONDERFUL day - and be sure to take the time to stamp SOMEthing. :D

It's another snowy Monday in Middle Tennessee! :)

Good morning! Did you have a good weekend? Are you enjoying your President's Day? :)

So, today's sample is something I crafted a few weeks ago, for our pastor's 60th birthday - Happy Birthday Again, Pastor Ronnie - if you should ever come across this post. :D

Anyway. Here it is!

Isn't it fun?? That's a cupcake box - I made him (and Kenn, sine you don't cook just ONE! :D) a lemon cupcake with lemon frosting. Here's the recipe for the card and box!

Card stock: Bashful Blue, Ruby Red, Whisper White

Ink: Not Quite Navy, Ruby Red

Stamp sets: Medallion, Well Scripted, Define Your Life (inside card)

Accessories: Window Sheets, large oval punch, 1-3/4" circle punch, dimensionals, Sticky Strip

The cupcake box is one we did at the Valentine's Stamp Camp - and it's SO versatile!!!

OK, I'm off again to get busy! If you're on my newsletter list, be on the lookout - I'm having to change some dates for this week. Life's getting in my way! :D

Have a WONDERFUL day, and be SURE to take the time to STAMP something!!!!!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas around here!

I spent a lot of the day yesterday decorating our den. It looks AWESOME! I still have some stuff to do in our bedroom, and a bit in the hallway - but I stopped in the afternoon. I can only "fluff" so many trees in one day! :D

ANYWAY. Today's share is a no-layer Christmas card, very simple and unusual, IMHO... :D

This is a card we did at two of the parties here last week. SO super-easy, and I think it encouraged everyone to think outside the box a bit!

Card stock: Whisper White

Ink: Real Red, Creamy Caramel, Close to Cocoa, Chocolate Chip

Stamp sets: Teeny Tiny Wishes, Medallion, Many Merry Messages (inside)

Accessories: Stampin' Sponge, Dauber

One of the girls told me that she's pretty sure this will be some of her Christmas card design this year; her son is at the age where he won't leave her alone! :D (I'm thinking he's about 18 months, but I'm probably a little young on my guesstimate. LOL!)

There are several things you could do to dress this up or down - but I love sharing cards at parties that are SIP! That's stamps, ink, and paper! :D

OK, time to go get started on tomorrow's TWELVE WEEKS email! :) Have a WONDERFUL day - and PLEASE, take the time to stamp something! :) (P.S. Thank you to those brave women who leave me comments!!! I so appreciate you! :D)

I'm either procrastinating, or.... :D

Well, I got hit by another challenge. LOL! This one is from the Divas Coffee Break Design Blog; the challenge was to make a card using Real Red, Bermuda Bay, Very Vanilla, and Soft Suede.

At first, I thought about a Christmas design; that color combo does make a beautiful Christmas one. But I stood at my stamp cabinet, and just thought out things. :D And instead, this is what I created.

The card stock layers from the bottom up: Very Vanilla, Real Red, Soft Suede, Bermuda Bay

Stamp sets are Medallion and Simple Friendship

Inks are Real Red and Soft Suede.

Accessories are Fire Square Rhinestone Brads, Modern Label Punch, and dimensionals. :)

If you participate in the challenge, please be sure to let me know so I can go see your card! I'm trying not to spend so much time online - but I don't want to miss your card!!! :)

Now, go on. Take the time to STAMP something!! :)

Ink: White Craft

Stamp Sets: Teeny Tiny Wishes, Medallion background

Accessories: Embossing buddy, heat tool, white embossing powder, Bermuda Bay Stampin' Write marker, Heart to Heart punch (inside)

I really like this card. I think I have an affinity for ROOSTERS. :D

OK. Off to work; I've got a great party on Sunday, and an Advanced Techniques class on Tuesday to prep. Busy, busy - but I'm stampin' up a storm! I hope you'll come take a class with me, or BOOK YOUR OWN PARTY!! We have SO much fun!!!

Have a WONDERFUL weekend!! Be SURE, now, to take the time to STAMP something! :D

Scrapbookin'! :D

Good morning, everyone! I hope you're having a GREAT Monday. (IF there IS such a thing...!) :D I know you came to see the samples, so on with the show - but watch for an offer I can't believe I'm gonna make! :D

This one's probably my favorite for this month's class; it's SO simple, but I LOVE the way the white just POPS off the page!

Card stock: Taken with Teal TEXTURED 12x12, Whisper White

Ink: Basic Black

Stamp set: Medallion background stamp set

Accessories: white gel pen, modern label punch

THAT IS ALL THERE IS TO THIS LAYOUT! Have I mentioned how much I love this stamp? :D

Of course, I also really like this layout. :D

Card stocks: Whisper White, Glorious Green, Real Red

Inks: Creamy Caramel, White craft

Stamp sets: Many Merry Messages, Dasher

Accessories: White embossing powder, embossing buddy, heat tool

Isn't DASHER a great stamp? If you're not checking out that page of UNDER $10 ITEMS, you're missing out!

OK, I'm off. Keep watching for that offer I'm going to be making! :D And PLEASE, take the time to STAMP something!!!!

I'm BACK!!!!

Phew. There's nothing like your OWN computer - glitches and curses notwithstanding. :D THANK YOU for your patience, and I'm SO glad you're back with me! :)

Today, I'm going to show you FOUR cards: the first two are from the Advanced Techniques class last month (both techniques are from TECHNIQUE JUNKIES!), and the second two are more ideas for that Medallion background stamp that Tory won for my Annual Birthday Card Contest. :)

So! On with the show!

Isn't it PRETTY? This one's called FOSSIL STONE.

Card stocks: Creamy Caramel, Chocolate Chip, Glossy White

Inks: Jet Black Stazon, Creamy Caramel, Ruby Red

Stamp set: Autumn Days

Accessories: sponge, and one other that I can't tell! :)

I really like this card; I didn't know I was going to lay it out this way, so the second time I did this card, the wheat was offset to the left just a bit more, so it showed. I really like this card!

I LOVE this card, too. It's called POLLOCK Technique.

Card stocks: Very Vanilla, Pale Plum, Perfect Plum, Always Artichoke, Watercolor paper

Inks: Pale Plum, Perfect Plum, Certainly Celery, Always Artichoke, Mellow Moss

Stamp set: A Rose is a Rose

That's all there is to it! Cool, no?? :D

This is the card Tory sent me to thank me for her prize - her very FIRST card made with it! (I'm gonna guess at the supplies, but I think I'm pretty close...:D)

Card stock: So Saffron, Whisper White

Ink: Close to Cocoa, So Saffron

Stamp set: Medallion background, not sure if the THANKS stamp is SU! or not....

Accessories: Gold Brad, paper snips, punch

Thank you, Tory. It's a great card, and will go on the Inspiration Station proudly!

Now, this last card uses a retired stamp set - I REALLY need to get another bride & groom!!! But I LOVE this card - and it was a HUGE hit!!!!! :D

Card stock: Very Vanilla, Basic Black

Ink: Basic Black

Stamp set: Medallion Background stamp set, Teeny Tiny Wishes, Life's Special Moments (Retired)

Accessories: Word window punch, modern label punch, double rectangle punch, dimensionals (The ribbon is from her invitation; I just used the extra, so the invite still has ribbon. :D)

Her wedding invitation had a pattern down the side of it that reminded me of the flairs on the outside of the medallion stamp. I masked off that inch or so, and only inked up the top flairs. It worked pretty well! :D

So, tell me what you think about it!! Or about ANY of the cards; I'm thrilled to have so many of you coming back. :) I LOVE my readers and customers; some of you are my best friends, and I'm SO grateful for you!

If you need any information about placing an order or becoming a demo - don't forget! There's a GREAT special going on right now to join for only $85!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - please call or email me! My contact info's in the side bar, if you ever need me!!!

Now, go STAMP something! :D I'm waiting.... :D Have a wonderful blessed day!!!

If I hurry....

I can publish this and say it's still morning! LOL!

Thank you SO much, those of you who said a prayer for me. There's lots going on IRL, and (to add to it!!!) yesterday morning I fell. In what could have been a very serious accident, God protected me! I've got some scrapes and sore muscles, but not nearly as bad as I thought I'd be the day AFTER. God is GOOD!

But to get on to what you're here for: the card. :D

I told you I'd be showing you more from the Medallion background stamp, so here's another. :D We made this Tuesday at my workshop; I just LOVE it!!

Card stocks: Crushed Curry, Whisper White, Chocolate Chip (but we used Soft Suede for Tuesday's!); More Mustard on the inside

Ink: More Mustard, Chocolate Chip

Stamp sets: Medallion background stamp, Teeny Tiny Wishes, Define Your Life inside

Accessories: white gel pen, Pretties Kit, Word Window Punch, Modern Label Punch, dimensionals, ticket corner punch inside

Isn't it CLASSY???? Single layer, so very simple - yet I think it's STUNNING. :)

OK! Lots to do today, including getting ready for the big blog tour coming up!!! I hope you have a FANTASTIC day - and please, make sure it includes taking the time to STAMP something!!! :)

It's being one of THOSE days already!!!!

Listen, if you pray, just say a prayer for me, OK? Things are just twisting, and I could use a little support. :) THANK YOU!

Now, on with the show!

I purchased the new MEDALLION background stamp as one of the first things when the new Idea Book went live. and I'm having a BALL with it. I have a hard time "justifying" purchasing the background stamps sometimes, but this one is REALLY versatile!! Today's sample? A Christmas card!

Card stocks: Whisper White, Basic Black, Real Red

Inks: White craft, Real Red

Stamp sets: Medallion Background, Teeny Tiny Wishes

Accessories: Embossing buddy, heat tool, white embossing powder, Modern Label Punch, Word Window Punch, dimensionals

SO simple and quick, but effective, isn't it? :D I'll be showing you more samples as the days go by, but this is it for today. :)

I hope you're having a WONDERFUL day!!!!! Don't forget to take the time to STAMP something!!! And Don't forget the new BLOG TOUR coming soon - details in the side bar!!!!
