If I hurry....

I can publish this and say it's still morning! LOL!

Thank you SO much, those of you who said a prayer for me. There's lots going on IRL, and (to add to it!!!) yesterday morning I fell. In what could have been a very serious accident, God protected me! I've got some scrapes and sore muscles, but not nearly as bad as I thought I'd be the day AFTER. God is GOOD!

But to get on to what you're here for: the card. :D

I told you I'd be showing you more from the Medallion background stamp, so here's another. :D We made this Tuesday at my workshop; I just LOVE it!!

Card stocks: Crushed Curry, Whisper White, Chocolate Chip (but we used Soft Suede for Tuesday's!); More Mustard on the inside

Ink: More Mustard, Chocolate Chip

Stamp sets: Medallion background stamp, Teeny Tiny Wishes, Define Your Life inside

Accessories: white gel pen, Pretties Kit, Word Window Punch, Modern Label Punch, dimensionals, ticket corner punch inside

Isn't it CLASSY???? Single layer, so very simple - yet I think it's STUNNING. :)

OK! Lots to do today, including getting ready for the big blog tour coming up!!! I hope you have a FANTASTIC day - and please, make sure it includes taking the time to STAMP something!!! :)

Quick post!!! :)

Good morning! I forgot to get this post ready yesterday, so I'm going to get it up here really quickly - it's almost time for me to leave for Bible study!!!!!!!

This first card, again, is mostly SIP - we did use the 1-3/4" punch to punch out the medallion, but you could easily cut it out!

Stamp set is SIMPLE FRIENDSHIP - so many people said they'd just overlooked this one, but LOVED the card and now are ordering the set. :) Colors are Real Red, Basic Black, and Whisper White. We used a Real Red and a Green Galore Stampin' Write Marker to color in the centers of the flowers and three little leaves. :) It's a 3x6 card, super simple, and we even have envelopes to match!

This one's mostly Big Shot work. All together, now: I LOVE MY BIG SHOT! :D

Stamp set is FRESH CUTS. Inks are Perfect Plum and Certainly Celery. Card stock colors are Apricot Appeal, Barely Banana, Pretty in Pink, Bashful Blue, Pale Plum, Very Vanilla, Certainly Celery, and vellum card stock. The centers of the flowers are rhinestone brads, available both in the Pretties Kit and separately - but I also did some cards with half-pearls as the centers of the flowers, and they were very beautiful.

Yes, that's my favorite ticket corner punch. :) Butterfly is the SU! exclusive Beautiful Butterflies die, and the flowers are the Simple Flower embosslit. SO easy to use, and such a SPRINGY card!!

OK, I'm on my way out the door. Literally! If I messed anything up, or forgot anything, leave me a comment and I'll fix things when I get home. :D Have a WONDERFUL day - and for goodness' sake, take the time to STAMP SOMETHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello! I'm so glad you dropped by! :) This is another card from the Fancy Folds class last month; this one is called a "joy fold". The blue piece unfolds toward the right, and the piece with the Riding Hood Red Candy Lane DSP unfolds toward the left.

We spelled out the "You" with stamps from the DEFINE YOUR LIFE ALPHABET, and the "ribbon" stamp is also from that. We stamped in Whisper White and embossed; the inside has the definition of "you" from DEFINE YOUR LIFE. It also says "friend to friend" from LOVE YOU MUCH on the inside bottom left corner. That's a flower and half-pearl from my Pretties Kit; it helps keep the card closed. :D The colors are Baja Breeze and Pacific Point; all the DSP is from Candy Lane. I LOVE that paper!

So. What are YOU stamping?? Have you checked out the Sale-A-Bration brochure yet?? It's just to the RIGHT!!! Click on that and browse it to your heart's content! Placed an online order this month for your FREE Idea Book?? You can click on that link on the right, too! LOTS of free things coming your way from Stampin' Up! right now!!!! Check it out now!!!

Back to stamping!

WOW, what a ride. Over FIVE HUNDRED hits on my blog in 48 hours! I doubt I'll see THAT again - but I do hope some of you found me during that madness, and will continue to visit. :)
Don't forget: Until October 1, you can enter to win a free CD from Greg McDougal - see post from Sept. 24 for details!!!!
But back to stamping, which is why this blog's here in the first place. :)
These flower pins I made from my Pretties Kit. Aren't they awesome?? I followed this tutorial from Laurie Ann Woo - she's incredibly talented!!!!! - to make them for hostess gifts for September. Every once in a while, I get inspired. :D
ANYWAY. The Pretties Kit is SO fun to play with! If you don't own one yet, CONTACT ME FOR MORE INFORMATION!!!!!!!!!!! :) You'll have so much fun discovering everything YOU can do!
TAKE TIME TO STAMP SOMETHING!! I've got to get ready for a retreat this weekend. I'm leaving Friday morning, and haven't packed a THING yet. AUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Time for another CHALLENGE card!

Again, from Becky P. Isn't it cute? The image is from GREETINGS GALORE, and isn't it cute??? The flower isn't from Stampin' Up!, but you could certainly dye one of the Pretties Kit flowers with Green Galore ink. If you haven't seen the Pretties Kit yet, or haven't looked closely at it either in your Idea Book & Catalog or the online link to the IB&C, take a look. It's SO much fun - I LOVE my Pretties! :D
Simple, easy card! Thanks, Becky!
Today is the 10/10/10 class. It's all about punches - and I can't wait. :) What are YOU doing today? It's probably NOT coming to my class, but please! Take time to STAMP something! :D

I LOVE the new Pretties Kit!!!!!!!!

Can I just say, I LOVE this new Pretties Kit from Stampin' Up!®?!?!? It ROCKS. So, here are directions for this! :)
I found the letter at a craft store, and paid for it. :D When I brought it home, I tinted some Lumiere paint with Pink Passion reinker, until it was the color pink I wanted it to be. (Sorry the photo's a little dark - that's the nature of this room!!!) I painted the letter, and left it alone while I waited for my Pretties Kit to arrive.
Yesterday, it CAME! And I had SUCH fun deciding what to do. I used the Pink Passion Stampin' Write marker on the small, darker flowers on the BACK. Used the Pretty In Pink Stampin' Write marker on the dogwood-type flower, and sponged on Pretty In Pink on the backs of the other two small flowers. I sponged directly on the front center of the daisy. LOVE how easily they all took color!!!!!!!
Next, I took some of the new rhinestone brads - including the clear ones that come in the Pretties Kit - and used those for centers on most of the flowers. I stuck a pin through the papier mache first, so the brads would go in. The two small Pretty In Pink flowers have Pretty In Pink brads as their centers. :)
To finish, I took some of the white half-pearls and used Liquid Glue to stick them where I wanted them! I LOVE how cute it looks - and the fact that I can re-do almost the whole thing without damaging any of it rocks; I can pull those brads out! I'm not sure how easily the pearls would come off - but I can definitely repaint! :)
I'd LOVE to know what you think of my project!!!! Any questions about the Pretties Kit are welcome, too - it's such fun to have something so cool to use!
