MDS Monday - Summer Flowers

Happy Monday! Did you have a wonderful weekend? Are you ready for this week? It's the last week of August - how did that happen?!?!? People are already starting to talk about the open house...

OK. I'm not hyper-ventilating...

:D

The flowers in our back yard have been simply lovely this year. I wanted to be able to do a challenge, and I know y'all are tired of seeing my photos of my niece. :D So you get flowers!

This is a SUDSOL challenge, done on MY DIGITAL STUDIO. It makes scrapbooking SO easy!

OK, y'all, I'm outta here! Have a wonderful day - and be sure to make the time to stamp SOMEthing!

Masculline Birthday Card

Happy Friday! You made it through the week! Congratulations! :)

This is one of the cards that our hostess club did last month; masculine cards can be quite the challenge, and I really like how this one turned out. I think a few of the girls thought it was more along the lines of a patriotic card, but my dad loves red, so it would be perfect for him. :)

The greeting is from the Wetlands stamp set; I really like the greetings in it, and they're very useful! :)

The designer series paper is Maritime; I love the bold stripe on this paper!

The last thing I want to mention is this new embossing folder, Stylish Stripes. I'm on my second folder - I've use it SO MANY TIMES already!!! (Including 8 dozen thank-you notes for a friend!)

OK, folks, I'm outta here! Have a great weekend, and make sure to make the time to stamp SOMEthing! :D

Blendabilities

Welcome to Wednesday! Are you having a good week? I really hope so! :)

I wanted to bring your attention to a couple of things; first, there's a big special going on this month; if you go to the Promotions section on my business site (just click on the underlined part of the sentence! :D ) and take a look at the Big Shot bundles you can get for free or for 15% off!

OK. :) The second thing is: we now have BLENDABILITIES, and alcohol-based marker in some of OUR COLORS! I've only got this set, Cherry Cobbler, and have JUST gotten around to playing a little bit. Wow, are they EASY to use and FUN! :) I don't know if you've noticed, but I LOVE Cherry Cobbler. It's a wonderful color!

I've decided I'm going to be getting one more color set each time I order something from now on, and slowly build them up. I also want to get the color lifter, but I did this teapot without it! :) As I get more colors, I'll add color to this image. :) I'll be sure and post as soon as I can order and receive another set. You never know when you'll see it again. :D And YES, all the colors in the IBC are now available to you!

OK, I'm outta here. I hope you have a wonderful day! Be sure and make the time to STAMP something!

MDS Monday - 4th of July 2014

Welcome to Monday! :) Did you have a good weekend? Do anything fun? I whipped this page together in about 5 minutes - I love My Digital Studio! :D (If you haven't downloaded your free trial yet, what are you waiting for???)

This is an unusual page for me; I didn't mat the photos, didn't pop them up to give them dimension - they're flat onto the page! The firework and "4th Independence Day" are both stamps I've had in MDS for a long time; I really love being able to pull out anything and use it on my page, change colors, color the stamp - it's fun! :D

Kenn's been working CRAZY hours, so we haven't done a lot of fun photos lately. I hope that will change as the fall comes on; he'll be working, but it won't be so crazy hot that we can't get out some in the mornings together. :)

OK, I'm outta here! Have a wonderful day! Be sure and make the time to STAMP something!

Card Remake!

Happy Friday!!!

I do apologize for the amount of time that's passed since I posted; life. Thank you for not totally abandoning me! :)

Today's card is one that I had done a similar card - at least the layout - and wanted to remake it because I really liked it. :)

So, I used the Blooming With Kindness stamp set, accented with the leaves from Lovely As A Tree, and the saying is from Trust God.

The colors are Tangelo Twist, Mossy Meadow, and Whisper White. After stamping the flower, I took my Aquapainter and just drew in the fill-in color from the stamped ink. That's the Curly Label Punch in the corner.

Simple, yet I think it's restful and lovely. :) What do you think?

OK, I'm outta here! Have a wonderful weekend, and be sure to take the time to STAMP something!!!!
