Zebra Card
Welcome to Friday! It's SPRING! And here I am bringing you a black card... :D
I made this card just to make one to show you! Aren't you flattered? :D I got a couple of new stamp sets, and I'm in love with this animal one. Why didn't I get it earlier?!?! It's been marked in my IBC to get for the whole year. Of course, now that I've finally purchased it, it will probably retire... :D
Speaking of which: we're getting closer to the new Idea Book Release in June! Be watching for the retirement lists (sooner than I wish them to be coming! :D )
Now, then. This stamp is from ZOO REVIEW; it's available in wood or clear-mount. To do my background, I just put wide rubber bands around my brayer, and rolled some white craft ink onto that Basic Black card stock. The zebra is embossed in black, and that's a layer of Bermuda Bay right underneath him. :) (Just so you know, I took a piece of Whisper White card stock for the inside, and ran those rubber bands through some Basic Black ink and did about 1.75" of a border down the right side of the inside card.)
OK, I'm outta here! Have a wonderful weekend! Be sure to stamp something! :)

My next favorite card....
Good Tuesday Morning! I hope you're having a great week! :) Lines, costumes, and lines are on MY mind this week. Phew. :D I can't wait to do the show, tho - it's VERY demanding physically, and I've got a pretty big part. Come see me as the evil stepmother! :D I perform this weekend; next weekend, the part will be done by the incredible Paula Fox. Tickets are available - you can call the church at 615.444.0776 for information - for Thursdays ($9, show only), Fridays ($20, dinner and show), Saturdays and Sundays ($12, dessert and show). I would SOOOOOOOO love to see you there! :D
OK. Here's the card!

Isn't it fun? :D
Card stock: Whisper White, Melon Mambo
Inks: Melon Mambo, Basic Black, VersaMark
Stamp sets: Tiny Teacup, Occasions Alphabet (inside)
Accessories: rubber bands, acrylic brayer, 2-1/2" circle punch, decorative label punch, dimensionals, heat tool, Melon Mambo embossing powder
SUPER easy! And I think it's pretty cute. :D
OK, I'm outta here. Final dress rehearsal is tonight! EEP! :D
Have a WONDERFUL day - and be SURE to make the time to STAMP something!!

More VERY THANKFUL cards! :)
It was really a great class. I hope you enjoy these samples! :)

Card stock: YoYo Yellow, Real Red, Only Orange, Tempting Turquoise, Whisper White
Ink: Jet Black Stazon
Stamp set: VERY THANKFUL
Accessories: Big Shot (Yup, you KNOW it: I LOVE MY BIG SHOT!!!), scallop circle die, 1-3/4" circle punch, assorted Stampin' Write markers
I just love this little guy. How can you not smile when you see him?? :)

If this looks a little familiar, it's because I posted one very similar done with the snakeskin technique from TECHNIQUE JUNKIES in the last two weeks. :)
Card stock: Taken with Teal, Basic Black, Glossy White, Whisper White
Ink: Taken with Teal, Versamark
Stamp set: VERY THANKFUL
Accessories: brayer, Taken with Teal Stampin' Write marker, ticket corner punch, dimensionals
This has a beautiful look to it, due to the glossy cardstock. The Whisper White is actually on the inside; both the brayered piece and the stamped piece here are Glossy. It is temperamental to work with, but such a gorgeous outcome! :)
