Quick! Post before the power goes out!!

There's an ugly storm headed this way, so I want to get the first two cards from the last Advanced Techniques class up quickly in case something happens to the power. :D

We had a GRAND time; these are all from TECHNIQUE JUNKIES - tell Pat I sent you! :D

This first card combines two techniques, TORN FRAMES and DRAGGED MADRAS.

Card stocks: Whisper White, Riding Hood Red (retiring IN COLOR), Kiwi Kiss (retiring IN COLOR)

Inks: Jet Black Stazon, Riding Hood Red (retiring IN COLOR), Kiwi Kiss (retiring IN COLOR)

Stamp sets: Heritage Holiday, Sweet Serendipity (both RETIRING)

Accessories: Sponges, distressing tool from the Cutter Kit, assorted Stampin' Write Markers, Blender Pen, 1-3/4" circle punch




Yes, it's the rooster again! This set just completely lends itself to doing advanced techniques, because it's a great collage set. And this technique is called CLEAR-COAT COLLAGE.

Card stocks: Very Vanilla, Creamy Caramel, Pumpkin Pie

Inks: Basic Brown, Creamy Caramel, Pumpkin Pie, Versamark

Stamp set: Rustic Rooster - Level 2 Hostess-ONLY stamp set! Let's have a party THIS MONTH so you can earn it!!!

Accessories: Watercolor Pencils, Clear Embossing Powder, heat tool, embossing buddy

So, last night was this month's Advanced Techniques class. We have SO much fun doing these classes - and last night was no exception. :) We did one of the cards from the last blog tour, so I won't show you that one again. My second one turned out even better! We did get a bit messy.... :D
