Oh, I'm feelin' it today! :D

I've got the creating bug today, and it's hard to sit still and do my blog - but I promised you the last card from the Stamp-a-Stack, so here I am! :D

There are two photos here - one of the inside of the card, too. Now, SAS are supposed to be pretty simple cards, which they are - but we dressed this one up just a bit. :)

Now, on some of them we used a Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Write Marker to color the embossed areas on the butterflies - but we also left a few of them uncolored. This is the new Beautiful Wings Embosslit; it makes FIVE embossed and punched butterflies with one pass through the Big Shot! It's SO much fun to work with!

Colors are Barely Banana, Bashful Blue, Always Artichoke, and Very Vanilla.

Now, take a look at the inside....

SO easy to get a classy, finished look, even without layering anything inside! As you can see, we used the Sincere Salutations "Get Well Soon" stamp; almost any in that set could be used in this card!

OK. Time to get busy again! :) Saturday's class is at 2:30, so even if we get the weather tomorrow they're predicting, it should be cleared by the time we're gathering for FANCY FOLDS III! :D And Mary N.'s Sale-a-bration party is Sunday afternoon - it's going to be a BLAST!

So many things to show you, so little time to TYPE! :D Have a wonderful day - and be SURE to take the time to STAMP something. You'll feel MUCH better...! :D

Happy Wednesday Morning!

Wow, this week is FLYING by!!! Where's the time go???? And can you believe how beautiful the days are??? Inside, we're all decked out for fall; outside is starting to show hints of joining in very soon. :)

Anyway. If you're a loyal reader of my blog - THANK YOU, those of you who are! :D - you know I went to a funeral last week. Today's sample is a card I made for her to send to the special people as thank-you's. It's a SUPER simplistic card, but I figured that she didn't need much frill....

Card stock: Whisper White, Basic Black

Stamp sets: Close as a Memory, Sincere Salutations

Ink: Going Gray, Basic Black

Accessory: Ticket corner punch

I *had* to do something. So there are a small stack of these cards on their way to her.

I'm off to create today and tomorrow; I have a couple of workshops to get ready for! :)

Have a WONDERFUL day - and be sure to take the time to STAMP something!

Hello, FRIDAY!

Good morning! It's FRIDAY! Do you have big plans for this weekend? I do - it's gonna be REALLY busy. :) But a lot of that time, I'll be stamping - so it's a GOOD thing! :D

Today's samples are ones that my dear friend, Amy, did to help me out when I was trying to get ready for the Open House at the beginning of the month.

Card stock: Whisper White, Pumpkin Pie

Ink: Pumpkin Pie

Stamp set: Sincere Salutations

Accessories: Razzleberry Lemonade DSP, Filigree Brad

The reason I love having Amy stamp things for my display board is that she does things I'd never have considered! :) But I always love what she does!!!

Here's the coordinating 6x6 scrapbook page she did:

Card stocks: Whisper White, Pumpkin Pie

Ink: Basic Black

Stamp set: Level 3 Hostess Only stamp set, THE MORE THE MERRIER - which is going to be my focus for the upcoming Blog Tour!!! You WON'T want to miss it - it's gonna be awesome! :)

Accessories: Large heart punch, small and large oval punches, dimensionals, Razzleberry Lemonaded DSP

Again, I NEVER would have thought to do this layout this way, but it's great!!!

OK. I'm off to keep working. :D I hope you have a WONDERFUL weekend planned, and that some of that time includes taking the time to STAMP something.... :D See you next week!

Stationery Box Class

Hi! So sorry it's late in the day again; I'm going to work on tomorrow's post while Kenn's gone tonight, so I can get it prescheduled. (I figure if I put it in writing, I'll feel obligated....:D)

SO. Here are pictures from earlier this month; this stationery box was a lot of fun to do, and would make a FANTASTIC gift - it's more labor-intensive than expensive, and with today's economy, isn't that what we're all looking for? I got the tutorial HERE, from Jackie Topa; she's AMAZINGLY talented, and has some fantastic things - please take a look around her blog, too!

On with the pictures!!!! Unless there's something terribly important to share with you, I'm just putting up the pictures. As always, click on the picture for a larger look - then click on your back button to come back and continue! :)

For all the projects, we used Whisper White and Pacific Point card stock, and Pacific Point designer series paper. The ribbon on the box top is Whisper White 1/4" grosgrain.

This is the inside of the box. The little side envelope holds stamps.

Underneath the flap is a regular 3x3 post-it notepad.

The top part of the box holds cards, a notebook - for addresses, etc. - and gift cards.

Here's a picture of that little notebook:
Then there's that small side pocket that looks empty! It's got eight greetings from SINCERE SALUTATIONS stamped in Pacific Point and punched with the scallop oval punch from the OCCASIONS MINI, only available for another month!

As you can see on a couple of the projects, we also used the eyelet edge punch. I love that thing. :D

The greeting punches will fit on both the smaller enclosure cards AND on the larger cards, as you can see from these last pictures!

So, that's it for today - but I think it's a lot! :D Even if you don't do the whole box, a set of the cards with the salutation punches would make an easy, quick, THOUGHTFUL gift!

You do realize that MONDAY will be the release of the LAST CHANCE LIST, right? Formerly called The Retired List, THE LAST CHANCE LIST is the listing of all the CURRENT STAMP SETS that will be GONE come July 1!!! That's when the new Idea Book & Catalog makes its appearance - but it's also the day we say farewell to some favorite sets. Be watching - I'll post that list, or a link to the list, Monday.

But Monday is also the start of the THIRD ANNUAL BIRTHDAY CARD CONTEST, and you'll want to be sure to enter that! :)

Tomorrow will be the last post of the month. WOW. Hard to believe it's flown! :) Have a wonderful evening, my friends. And at least TRY to take the time to STAMP SOMETHING, would ya!?:D

Happy Memorial Day!

I hope you're enjoying your long weekend! And I know you're anxious to know who won the blog candy, but you'll have to wait just a little bit longer! :) I'll post it later today.

Tomorrow night, I'm holding an OPPORTUNITY NIGHT; if you're local, and would like to know more about Stampin' Up! and the income opportunity - as well as how awesome it is to fulfill the Statement of the Heart - please contact me for more information at poohisstampin@aol.com!

So, today you get the last two cards from Thursday's Quick Card Class! The second one wouldn't scan, so I had to do a REAL picture of it. :D I hope you enjoy them both - let me know what you think!!!! (Comments make my day, really!!!!)

This one actually has a pattern on it that you can't see in the scan! It's got silver ink seran-wrap-daubed onto it. (One of my favorite texture secrets!:D)

Card stocks: Kraft, Mellow Moss, Always Artichoke

Inks: Mellow Moss, Always Artichoke, Silver Encore

Stamp sets: Wonderful You, Sincere Salutations

Accessories: Ticket corner punch (Yup! My favorite corner punch makes an appearance! :D), 3/4" circle punch, word window punch, designer label punch, Always Artichoke Stampin' Write Marker, Stamp-a-ma-jig, dimensionals

THIS card was just for ME. :D I had advertised a baby card, a thank-you, a birthday, and a wedding; this one's because I love this stamp set! :D

Card stocks: Creamy Caramel, Whisper White, Pretty in Pink

Inks: Creamy Caramel, Chocolate Chip Classic AND Craft

Stamp sets: Forest Friends, Happy Everything

Accessories: scallop edge punch, Chocolate Chip corduroy buttons, Pretty in Pink 1/4" grosgrain ribbon, clear embossing powder, embossing buddy, heat tool, dimensionals

Just LOOKING at the card makes me happy. :D It's my favorite colors, I love the stamp set - it's just a ME card. LOL!!

OK, I'm off! Have a WONDERFUL day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I'll let you slide today, but tomorrow, PLEASE! STAMP SOMETHING!!!!!!!!!!!! :D
