Thanks so much for the comments on yesterday's cards! I'm glad you liked them; I think everyone who had a chance to make them had fun, too. :)
Today, I'm going to show you ONE of the three cards from last night's FANCY FOLDS II class; it qualifies for the Stampin' Sisters in Christ Challenge this week, so it's going to be my SECOND entry. :D Three shots: the front, the card standing open, and a shot of the top down - it's a shutter card!

Card stock: More Mustard, Sahara Sand, Garden Green, Whisper White
Ink: Chocolate Chip, White craft
Stamp sets: Autumn Splendor, Simple Friendship, A Rose is a Rose
Accessories: Autumn Traditions DSP, heat tool, embossing buddy, white embossing powder, dimensionals
I really, really love how this one came together - and the way the three stamp sets' WORDS coordinated with the DSP and the leaf stamp!
Now, standing open:
And, finally, from an angle on top, so you can see how unique the fold is!
I'd love to hear what you think of this one. And be on the alert: I'll probably be posting blog candy soon, because the new counter just flipped over 10,000 hits! :) THANK YOU for being such a loyal follower (if you are); you keep me stampin'!! :)
Now, take the time to STAMP SOMETHING, would ya?!?!?

Oh wow...GORGEOUS!! I LOVE these shutter cards. Great job with this Fall themed friend card! :)
REALLY?? You used to live here? I am in Central Oregon, Madras to be exact :) It's about 2 hours south of Portland. My best friend from college lives up near the gorge in Pendleton. Although I hate all the Junipers and sagebrush (being the "high desert" area) I have to say that we have some of the best weather! Hardly rains... but we still get some fun snow in the winter. Had a couple heat waves this summer where it was over 100, but then I think most people in the U.S. had the same didn't they? I see pictures of Kentucky and Tennessee and think it's just gorgeous over there. Would love to have plush green grass and a garden! We tried one of those for the first time this year. Of course it had to be "above-ground" as our ground is full of rock! We watered and watered, but didn't do too well. Out of a dozen different kinds of veggies, all we produced were the zucchini! Which I made bread with--YUM! :) So where are you?
Great job. I too like the shutter cards. Nice work:) Thanks for playing with us this week!!
