Guest Blogger: Elaine Wright - Pizza Box & Cards

Hello again! :) This is another great project from Elaine; she wanted me to let you know that she realized, AFTER doing her project, that the stamps she used went away with the Summer Mini - but you could use MANY of our other sets in its place. :) Leave her some comment love, would ya? :D

Pizza Box and Cards gift

If you need a quick little gift for someone, this is perfect! It was one of the classes I took at the LNS Stamp Camp while I was in Salt Lake City for the Stampin' Up Convention in July. I can't remember who taught this class now but it is a great gift.

They showed us how to make a miniature pizza box using an 11" X 6" piece of cardstock and fill it will little 3X3 Cards. This cute box is made using Old Olive Cardstock that is stamped with the Sanded Background Stamp. This gives the box a nice texture without overpowering it. The lid is decorated with Concord Crush, Perfect Plum and Old Olive cardstock. The piece of Concord Crush is textured with the Square Lattice Impressions Folder, the Perfect Plum is punched with the eyelet Border punch.

The cards as well as the envelopes are stamped with a flower and butterfly and a sentiment is added using the Scalloped Oval and Large Oval punches. The little envelopes are in the catalog, page 171.

To make the pizza box, cut the cardstock 11" X 6" and score 1" in on all 4 sides. Also score the middle, 5" in from either side. Snip in each fold on both long sides. Your box will look like this.

Fold in all sides and adhere together to form the pizza box.

I'm thinking about making another little pizza box and filling it with Christmas tags. It's not too early to start crafting for Christmas is it??
