If this is your first visit to my blog, WELCOME! My name is Lori Stilger, and I've been a demonstrator since 2000. I LOVE what I do, and I love to teach you how to use your stamps and paper - my goal is to show you things you feel comfortable duplicating at home - or encourage you to ask your own demonstrator how to do what I've shown (or come to one of my classes! :D) If you see anything that you want more information about, PLEASE ask me!! I love to feel useful! LOL!
We've been asked not to give blog candy on this tour, because it seems to take a lot of time to enter. ;D So there's no candy TODAY - but come back on MONDAY, and I'll have BLOG CANDY for you then to win!!!!!

My featured stamp set today is SIMPLE FRIENDSHIP, item #113397, shown on page 92 of the Spring/Summer 2009 Idea Book & Catalog. I LOVE this stamp set - as a matter of fact, if you come back on Monday, I'll have one more project to show you and a clickable list of photos of projects I've already shown, all done with this stamp set! :) I encourage you to bookmark my blog, and come back often - I try to make sure to post five days a week, and that adds up to lots of ideas! :) (Click on any photo to enlarge it!)
Now, on with what you came here for - the SAMPLES! Unless it's something that needs more explanation, I'll just put the recipe down for you.

This is a little 3"x3" card. I stamped and embossed the Cameo Coral piece first, then punched out the 1-3/4" circle in it. I put it over the Chocolate Chip card stock, then used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to center the medallion stamp in the punched-out area. I stamped the medallion, then took off the Cameo Coral piece and embossed the medallion.
Card stocks: Cameo Coral, Chocolate Chip, Creamy Caramel
Ink: Whisper White Craft
Stamp set: Simple Friendship

Accessories: 1-3/4" circle punch, white embossing powder, embossing buddy, heat tool

Card stocks: Almost Amethyst, Lovely Lilac

Stamp set: Simple Friendship

Accessories: Big Shot, Box #2 die, 1-3/4" circle punch, white embossing powder, embossing buddy, heat tool, 5/8" satin ribbon (page 17, Occasions Mini catalog)

This is a 6"x6" scrapbook page. The current special from Stampin' Up!® is purchase three packs of Designer Series Paper (including WALK IN THE PARK in the Occasions Mini), and get one free! There are two other specials; if you're interested, please email me!

Ink: Brilliant Blue

Stamp set: Simple Friendship

Accessories: Mini glue dots, Dazzling Diamonds glitter, Aqua Painters, word window punch, paper snips, dimensionals, Walk in the Park DSP

This is the final sample for today - and I LOVE it. :) It's very simple to do, but I think it's pretty stunning - if I do say so myself. :D

The flowers are stamped on the Going Gray card stock underneath the vellum; I stamped them in Whisper White Craft ink, then allowed it to dry before putting the vellum on top.

Card stock: Whisper White, Vellum Cardstock, Going Gray, Brushed Silver metallic

Ink: Pink Passion, Whisper White Craft

Stamp set: Simple Friendship

Accessories: Whisper White eyelets, Crop-a-dile, Irridescent Ice Embossing Powder, embossing buddy, heat tool, Pretties Kit (hat pin body)

That's the end of today's samples from me! :) I really hope you enjoyed them! Please leave me a comment telling me which one was your favorite and why! I'm always interested in what other people think! :D

Hi, Lori!
I liked the first card - the 3x3" Simple Friendship card. I like the color combination and the way you used white around the edge as a border.

Great tour - what a fun idea!

I really liked the color combo and design of the first card but the vellum butterfly card really knocked my socks off! I liked the use of the eyelets to hold it all together.
