It's DEFINITELY time to start on those Christmas cards! :D I can hear you groaning, so stop. ;D
Last night was Advanced Techniques; we had a GREAT time, and you were missed. So, today, you're going to be shown two of the cards, and tomorrow two more. But they're TECHNIQUES, so I can't tell you how to do them, or I'd have to charge you! :D
Just for you, the first one is a Christmas card. :D
This technique is called DAHLIA FOLDING.
Card stock: Very Vanilla, Certainly Celery, Chocolate Chip, Brushed Gold
Ink: Chocolate Chip Craft
Stamp set: Many Merry Messages
Accessories: Merry Moments DSP, 1-1/4" circle punch, round tab punch, small and large oval punches, 1/2" circle punch, dimensionals, heat tool, embossing buddy, clear embossing powder
Isn't it pretty?? :) We had a great time figuring out the folding. :D It's one of those things that comes much easier with practice! :D
Card stock: Very Vanilla, Garden Green, Pumpkin Pie
Ink: Summer Sun, Pumpkin Pie, Garden Green
Stamp set: Teeny Tiny Wishes
Accessories: various brushes, Kind Thoughts Brocade Stencil (small)
We triple-colored the stencil, as you can see. It's a WONDERFUL stencil, and you can bet you'll be seeing more projects with it - and others - in the next few months. :)
OK, I'm off. I have nothing to do but church today, but I still am too busy for words!!!!!!!!! :D
Have a wonderful day, and be sure and take the time to stamp SOMETHING!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D (Kids's foreheads don't count....:D)
