Hi, y'all! How are you coping with summer? UGH. :D I am SOOOOOOOOO grateful for A/C!!
Anyway. Today's share is another card I made for no class purpose; it's for a weekly challenge, and I haven't played along in a LONG time. :D SO, I can tell you all about it!
Card stock: Riding Hood Red kinda N, Basic Black, Very Vanilla
Ink: Basic Black, Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake N
Stamp set: Oval All
Accessories: Big Shot ♥♥♥!, scallop oval punch, medium oval punch, clear embossing powder, vintage eyelets, Newsprint DSP N, Crop-a-dile, sponges, Top Note die
OK. I cut the Top Note just shy of full length, so that the entire side of the die cut was straight. The Newsprint DSP is cut JUST to fit inside the die cut. I used a sponge and Crumb Cake ink to age the DSP, Very Vanilla, and Riding Hood Red card stocks just a bit. I layered the Very Vanilla punched "just for you" on top of the embossed black scallop-circle-punched piece, and put that on with dimensionals.
It's really quite an easy card! :) I enjoy doing challenges when I have the time. :D Tonight is an Advanced Techniques class, so you'll get to see some of those next! :D
I really do hope you're studying your books, looking at the color combinations, and enjoying the possibilities! What FRESH looks these are!
Now, go. Take the time to STAMP something! :D I'll see you tomorrow!
