One of my favorite photos of us :D
I just love this shot. And It's on some of our Christmas photo cards. What do you think? Those of you who know us, what do you think of what it says about us?? :D And here's the link to our Christmas newsletter!P.S. I've just started with Smile.ly and can't wait to see what it's like! :D

Thank you! :D
Several of you have inquired about our heat; it took two days to fix, but it's BACK! :D And the sun porch is now heated, too. :D So it's much easier to enjoy sitting out there in whatever weather - although yesterday's 70+-degree weather was something else!
ANYWAY. :D You'll want to know about THIS!
From December 15, 2011, through January 5, 2012, nearly 200 products are being added to the Clearance Rack in the Online Store--with some discounted up to 80 percent!
What a GREAT opportunity to get some things you've been wanting but haven't been able to grab! Now, remember: first come, first served - so if you try to add it to your cart and it won't go, it's because it's sold out and they haven't had a chance to pull its description yet. :)
Just go to my business site, and click on SHOP NOW in the top right-hand corner. If you don't go thru my blog, I don't get your sales! :D
Please note: Within the Online Store, in the Clearance Rack Blitz category, there will be some identical punches that have two different item numbers; this is because we are using inventory from both our American and our European warehouses. We will indicate which punches this affects in the product description.
OK, I've got to run - tonight is our school's Christmas program, and I have baking to do, and and and! :D Peace to all!!! Now, go STAMP something - I'm assembling between words. :D

Baby, it's cold INSIDE!
Woke up this morning and went down to the studio - and the heater's BROKEN! Hopefully they'll be able to fix it this afternoon - but was it COLD. :D
So. Sunday was the open house, and boy! was it FUN!!! We had LOTS of people here; if you didn't make it, you sure missed out. I was so glad to see a few of you who haven't been able to be around much the past year. I hope, if you weren't able to come this year, you'll come next!
Here's a quick share - I'm working for someone else right now, so I have to be able to answer the phone any time - that we did at our hostess party last month. (I really love how it turned out!)
Isn't it pretty? I really love the Holly Berry DSP - you can still order it, but only for a few more weeks! The same with the stamp set, THE SOUNDING JOY. The world that I punched out? It's from WORD PLAY - and I've really enjoyed using it this way! :) Isn't the ribbon pretty, too? It just is all very simple, but it all came together beautifully. In *my* humble opinion, anyway.... :D
OK, I'm outta here so I can be ready to say, "Hello!" :D I'm going to TRY to get caught up with the 10 Weeks emails this weekend. I know what I want to do, but time and cameras just don't coordinate!
I'd love to hear from you. I'm kinda lonely. :D
Have a WONDERFUL day! Be sure and take the time to STAMP something!!!

It's FRIDAY!!! Only THREE MORE WEEKS!
Are you getting excited about Christmas, or just exhausted? :D I don't know about you, but this first weekend is a killer. ROFL!!! Are you coming to visit me Sunday????
OK. Last project from IT'S A WRAP, as promised!
Again, the DSP is from Frostwood Lodge. The tree stamp's from LOVELY AS A TREE; "Season's Greetings" is from MANY MERRY MESSAGES. We made the scalloped edge with circle punches cut in half. I love Cherry Cobbler - it's SUCH a pretty color! :D
Well, today was also a teaching day plus meetings, so if I have survived, and if I survive the weekend, I'll see you Monday! :D

December!! First day on my countdown calendar! :D
I love the countdown calendar I made years ago. It's cross stitch; it's not straight, and there are some dropped stitches, but I made it. I love pulling out the little ornaments each day to decorate the tree with the stitched elves, waiting until I get to pull out the Baby Jesus ornament. Nothing like anticipation, I'm telling you!
Anyway. :D Here's another project from our IT'S A WRAP class: a cute little gift bag!
Isn't it CUTE?? That's DSP from the Frostwood Lodge DSP package; the tag is from TAGS TIL CHRISTMAS. We cut the strip of Garden Green card stock with the Top Note die, then punched it with the scallop lace trim punch. Cute, cute cute!!!
One more day this week! Come back for the last project from the IT'S A WRAP class! :D Have a wonderful day, and be SURE to take the time to STAMP something!!!

Havin' FUN! :D
It's hump day - but in Pooh Land, I think we'll call it Heffalump Day. :D (I'm in an odd mood tonight! LOL!)
So, here's a tag we did at the IT'S A WRAP! class - the last class of the year, unless someone wants private classes. It's always a bittersweet thing; many people think we should really push our classes for the last month of the year, but I've always felt that I'm not going to force anyone to choose between family and stamping - because I know I'd lose! :D I still do things, though, so if you want to place an order - for yourself or someone else! - or learn something privately, just let me know!
ANYWAY. This tag was inspired by a card I saw while browsing the web. I really like this tag!
It's Very Vanilla and Brushed Gold. a very classy combination I think. We embossed the "Merry Christmas" - from TEENY TINY WISHES. Then, we punched that out with the modern label punch. Add a snowflake from the Northern Frost Sizzlit die embellished with a pearl, and voila! Simple, beautiful, elegant even. :D And EASY!
OK, I'm outta here again. Are you coming to the open house Sunday????

Tuesday!
:D Good morning! Patricia: I've not forgotten your question about the name of that technique - I'm trying to find out. :D I'll post when I figure it out.
So, today's share is from the GIFTS FROM THE HEART class; we had a blast, except I was getting sick. :/ Still! :D
Cute, huh! There's a box - from the box die - in between the two stockings, so you can put candies or cookies in it. Colors are Real Red and Whisper White; the tag's from TAGS 'TIL CHRISTMAS, and embossed with the new PEWTER embossing powder. SO easy to make - I love the Northern Flurry embossing on the stockings!
Outta here again! :D Have a WONDERFUL day, and be sure to take the time to STAMP something!

It's beginning to look a LOT like...
Yup! CHRISTMAS!! :D House is finally all decorated; baking is about halfway done, with two solid days to go. Just about every minute of this week is planned, so nobody throw me a curve! :D Open house will be done for another year one week from the time I'm writing this! LOL!
So, here's another project we did at the parties this month - and if you haven't gone to look at the Holiday Extravaganza, you'd BEST!! It's pretty darned AWESOME!!!!
Colors are Bravo Burgundy and Always Artichoke; the opposite side of this mini candy bar holder is reversed color. The stamp is from TAGS 'TIL CHRISTMAS. It was a super fun thing to put together! :)
OK, I'm outta here. I'll be scheduling this week's posts tonight (Sunday), so I'll do a double-post day if anything spectacular needs to be said. I'm on the downhill stretch! :D Have a WONDERFUL day, and be sure to take the time to STAMP something!!

Quick post today!
Yup, I didn't preplan the rest of the week, so here I am flying by. :D This is a card we did for parties this month - I absolutely love it. I keep forgetting about this simple technique - and wonder why I don't pull it out more often!
Stamp sets: Autumn Splendor, Day of Gratitude
Card stock: Soft Suede, More Mustard, Early Espresso
Ink: Whisper White Craft
Accessories: Stampin' Pastels, White embossing powder, heat tool
Simple and elegant, in my VERY humble opinion! :D
OK, I'm outta here - THE MUPPETS AWAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D Have a WONDERFUL day, and be sure to take the time to STAMP something!!!!

Another stocking project! :)
I've got to tell you: I LOVE this stocking die. I'll use it for LOTS and LOTS of things! :D
This ornament happened because I happened to have the pieces left over and in my stack of stuff. :D
It's Whisper White and Wild Wasabi - I used Versamark and the stamp from SWEET SEASON, then embossed with Wild Wasabi embossing powder. (Stay tuned, boys and girls: the Occasions Mini has some INCREDIBLE toys coming up!)
I glued a simple ribbon loop on the back for a hanger. Super simple, SUPER cute, and super MAILABLE - slip one of these into a Christmas card for an inexpensive gift!
OK, I'm outta here. Thanksgiving, then the Open House - so much baking and cooking, so little time! :D Go on, get going! You KNOW you wanna go make the time to STAMP something!!!

Whew, WHAT A WEEKEND!
OK, I'll confess - I'm doing this post several days in advance. We teach Friday, and I have a GIFTS FROM THE HEART class that day. Saturday, we're shooting a wedding in Murfreesboro, AND have a gallery opening at Springhouse Worship & Arts Center in Smyrna - it's a public opening, and quite the event! If you'd like to come, I can give you directions! :) Just LMK.
OK, here's the fifth item from the HOME & HEARTH class; it was definitely a favorite. :)
Ever since I saw the witch's boot going around at Halloween, I KNEW I wanted to do this one - it's an elf shoe! :) Isn't the red glitter paper AWESOME on this project?? We also used the mini jingle bells on the toes - it's SO cute! There's a box in the middle, so you can put candy in there as a gift. I just love this - I really kind of wish we had a cutesy room to decorate for Christmas. :D
OK, I'm outta here. SERIOUSLY prepping for the open house AND Thanksgiving today! Have a wonderful day, and be SURE to take the time to STAMP something!

Home & Hearth, Share #4!
Oh, yes, we did TWO ornaments! This is the glitzy side; the other side has some designer series paper from the Holiday Lodge DSP set in it. :)
I found these WILTON cookie cutters - with the tags still on them! - at a garage sale. We traced the paper, and cut it out to fit. Before attaching (or, in my case, inserting!) the DSP, we punched a hole out of the copper cookie cutter with the Crop-a-dile. I think it's pretty amazing - it cuts through like "buttah", and bevels the edge of the metal, so you're not going to have a dangerous piece to worry about!
Today's a teaching day! The last one for the month! It's a party day at school, too - we're having Thanksgiving lunch with parents. :)
OK, I'm outta here. Have a WONDERFUL weekend, and be SURE to take the time to STAMP something!!

Home & Hearth #3!
OK, now's about when I expect you to start wishing you'd been at the class. :D You'll see the two of the last three projects on the blog; the sixth will be an example I show of another way to do something I'm planning to do for the Ten Weeks of Christmas tutorials. :D
See the "snow" in the bottom of the ornament? Those are our mica flakes - available RIGHT NOW in the Holiday Mini. You could do SO MANY ornaments with a jar of the flakes! And they're quite inexpensive! If you want to go shopping, click here - my business site - and click on the SHOP NOW button at the top right!!!
OK, I'm off. I hope you're having a wonderful week! Just ONE MORE WEEK until Thanksgiving! Of course, I'm counting YOU as one of my blessings! :) Now, go STAMP something!

Home & Hearth, share #2!
Good morning! :) Are you impressed? :D I'm sorry I was AWOL again last week - it's difficult for me, if I don't pre-post, to use the energy during the week to do it! Life is SO busy right now, something usually gives - and it's the blog first. I hope you miss me when I'm not here. :D
Another thing to share with you: I've seen a preview of the Occasions Mini, which comes out in January. Oh, FRIENDS! Let me suggest you start saving NOW; anything you get for Christmas, put in your piggy bank - I want almost EVERYTHING! There are some incredible things - I need to win the LOTTERY!!!!! :D
OK. Just so you know, I chose the candle that has fallen 7 feet onto the floor several times, so someone else could have the GOOD candles. :D That's why it looks a bit lumpy and disfigured. LOL! It really is pretty IRL, I promise.... :D
Have a WONDERFUL day, and be SURE to take the time to STAMP something! Oh, and ONE WEEK FROM TODAY, the new MUPPETS movie opens! :D

Home & Hearth
Good morning! Here's one of the SIX projects we did for HOME & HEARTH; it's my least favorite design, but it's cute. :) LOVE the Decor Elements, because they make projects like this so fast and easy!
Have a wonderful day! Be sure and take the time to STAMP something! :)

How are you doing??
It's a cloudy day here, but a perfect day to continue getting ready for the Christmas Open House! If you haven't gotten details, and want to come, email me at Poohisstampin@aol.com! Or leave a comment and LMK you want info! :)
Anyway. :D We FINALLY get down to the card that started the colorblock craze for me. :D
Isn't it pretty??? I really fell in love with this one. :)
Card stock: Elegant Eggplant, Baroque Burgundy, Perfect Plum, Wistful Wisteria, Whisper White
Ink: Whisper White craft ink
Stamp sets: Many Merry Messages, Delightful Decorations
Accessories: Corner rounder punch, ornament punch, white embossing powder, heat tool, dimensionals, SNAIL
Ta da! Isn't that easy??? I really love the color combination, and the cleanness of the layout. So fun to do, too! :)
OK, I'm outta here. Miles to go, every day. :D Have a WONDERFUL day, and be SURE to take the time to STAMP something!

Answering Bonnie B.'s Question!
Good morning, everyone! I hope you're having a wonderful day so far - and that it will continue to be even better. :D
Bonnie B. had a question on this post:
This is really pretty. My daughter is getting married in June, so I am on the lookout for good ideas.
What did you put in the inside, just out of curiosity?
Thanks and God bless,
Bonnie S
Well, Bonnie, here is the inside! :) I really was tickled with the result of this card; there are quite a few steps, but we did it with a bunch of brand-new stampers, and walked it out together. :)
That's the Manhattan Flower Texturz embossing folder, and the "forever" is also from FABULOUS PHRASES. (I also like it because there's little room to write, if you don't have anything to say. LOL!!!)
OK, I'm outta here! Tomorrow's week THREE of the 10 Weeks of Christmas emails, so I have to get GOING. :D Have a wonderful day - and be SURE to take the time to STAMP SOMETHING - I am!!!!

National Chocolate Day!
Hi, everyone! Sorry I'm still sluggish - I'm just TIRED. But we had a great time last Friday night! :D
Here's the food....
Chocolate, and LOTS of it, of course! :D
And here are the two projects we made - one with chocolate, the other chocolate-colored. :D
I have to admit, I really love these projects! They turned out so beautifully! :D We only did two of the mini-sliders in class; I used the rest for my speech class, and for tiny treats at church. :D
OK, I'm outta here! SO much to do! :D Bonnie S.: I will post the answer to your question about the wedding card first thing in the morning! I didn't want you to think I was ignoring you. :) I had to take a picture, and still have to edit and explain it - but I'm going to get it ready to go! :)
Have a WONDERFUL evening! Be SURE to take the time to STAMP something - I am!!!!

Happy Birthday, dear Ginny!
Hi, everyone! Today is my friend Ginny's birthday. It's been a rough year for her; she's got fibromyalgia, her daughter and son-in-law are living with them(not all bad, either! :D), and her husband was diagnosed a few years ago with an incurable cancer., and everything seems to pile on at once. So, I wanted to take this special day and design a card with a couple of ideas she's had on the color-block cards I've shown you. :) (Ginny has a wonderful blog, too - you can find it here! Please leave her some comment love!!!)
So, here is her birthday card! :)
So, Ginny, I put it on an Early Espresso background, with just a HINT of Wild Wasabi outlining it. The Designer Series Paper *could* have been a bit more masculine, but don't tell anyone - it's from the Holly Berry Bouquet Specialty DSP. :D (Hey, I fit in Christmas wherever I can. LOL!!) I ran the Wild Wasabi squares through the Big Shot with the new Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Snow Burst. (I call it SPARKLE to myself, cuz that's what it looks like! :D) The tag is from the matchbox bigz die.
I hope you've had a WONDERFUL day, Ginny, and that Phil is feeling well enough to celebrate YOU. Be blessed!!!!
Now, then. Y'all get back to work - go stamp something! :D

This is a card I designed last month for my parties; I gave it as a wedding card this month. It's simple and elegant - and the inside is as beautiful as the out, but I didn't take a photo of it. Of course. :D And this photo's kind of blurry - I think it's because of all the textures on the card. I'm tired. LOL!
Card stock: Basic Black,WhisperWhite, Elegant Eggplant
Ink:Elegant Eggplant
Stamp sets: Fifth Avenue Floral, Fabulous Phrases
Accessories: Basic Pearls, Lace Ribbon Border Punch, Big Shot, Flower Garden Texturz Plate (inside)
This was a big hit! I want to do it in my wedding colors - substitute Real Red for the Elegant Eggplant - and use Basic Rhinestones instead of the pearls. :)
WHAT A WEEK! Next week, expect to get a report from the luncheon and the 25.000 hit giveaway!
Now. Have a wonderful weekend, and be SURE to take the time to STAMP something!!!!

MDS today!
I did this scrapbook page for a layout challenge a few weeks ago, and haven't shared with you yet! The date on it is incorrect; I've changed it in the album, but haven't resaved the picture of the page yet. :D
This was our trip to San Francisco 10 years ago - where we were when 9/11 happened. I really like how this page turned out; I hard-scrapped this trip before I really got into Stampin' Up!'s scrapbooking, and it's important to me to continue to work through the complex emotions of that trip. It was our 5th anniversary, four days before.
OK, I'm off! Tomorrow is NATIONAL CHOCOLATE DAY, and my students are doing speeches about chocolate, and we're having a CHOCOLATE class - basically, an excuse to get together and eat chocolate. :D It's also the night before the Hostess Appreciation Luncheon. EEK! I HAVE to get BUSY!!! :D
Now, go make the time to stamp something! I AM!!!!!

Halfway through the week!
Phew! I'm trying to keep breathing!:D Today is a day to work, work, work!
This is one of my favorite cards I've done for a while; it was an Advanced Technique card from a few months ago. Colors are Rose Red, Pretty in Pink, Always Artichoke, and Certainly Celery. The stamp sets are Inspired by Nature and Blessings from Heaven.
Here's the inside:
As you can see, I used the ticket corner punch (Yes, I STILL love that thing!!) on the inside. :D
OK, I'm off - heigh ho, heigh ho. :D MAKE the time to stamp something, will ya already? :D

Easy card!
Now, this is a really quick card for you from a few months ago! :D Today's Bible study day, so I'm here now - but not for long!:D
This is from a quick card class. The color combination - Rose Red, Night of Navy, and River Rock - is from the Color Coach. It's not one I would have thought of on my own, for sure!
The grass is from INSPIRED BY NATURE, and I really like that stamp! It's embossed with clear embossing powder. :)
OK, I'm outta here now! Check this off the mile-long to do list! :D Have a WONDERFUL day - and take the time to stamp something! I will!!!!!

It's still Monday! :D
Did you miss me during the day today? :D I've been SUPER busy; the hostess appreciation luncheon is this week, and I'm so busy this week it's not funny. I'm doing my "to do" lists for the week, and starting to hyperventilate.... :D
Anyway. You're not here to hear my practice my deep breathing! :D This is a card I did for a sketch challenge about a month ago, and never posted, and don't even remember which blog the challenge was from! LOL!
Cardstock: Whisper White, Shimmery White, Brushed Silver, Pacific Point, Bashful Blue
Ink: Pacific Point
Stamp set: Many Merry Messages
Accessories: Big Shot, Top Note Die, Snowflake die, Petals-a-plenty texturz embossing folder, snowflake punch, dimensionals
It's a little different than I'd usually make, but the more I look at it, the more it grows on me. :D What do YOU think of it??
I can't BELIEVE it, but we've had over 25 THOUSAND hits on Lori's Stamping Spot since I started blogging! It's AMAZING! Next week, after I get the luncheon done, I will do a giveaway - and when I'm getting ready for the luncheon, I'll get the prize all together so all I'll have to do is mail it. :)
OK, I'm off. I've got bunches to go before I sleep!!! :) Have a WONDERFUL evening, and be SURE to take the time to STAMP something - I am, like CRAZY. :D

Twisted Easel for Friday!
Hi, everyone! Here it is, Friday again! I'm off to teach school - and I'm doing an example speech for the speech class. :) They're doing their first "official" speech on National Chocolate Day, *on* chocolate. I'm doing my speech on "A Simple Gift of Holiday Chocolate You Can Make", and showing them how to make brownie truffles - and showing them some quick packaging ideas. :D
ANYWAY. Today's share is another from an Advanced Techniques class; this one is TWISTED EASEL.
Card stock: Lucky Limeade, Poppy Parade, Whisper White
Inks: Lucky Limeade, Cajun Craze,Chocolate Chip
Stamps: Inspired by Nature, Teeny Tiny Wishes (inside)
Accessories:Scallop Trim Border Punch, Modern Label Punch, water, Word Window Punch
I really like how this came out!
OK, I'm off! Have a wonderful day, enjoy your weekend - and be SURE to take the time to STAMP something. I know I'd better.... :D

Here I am!
Wow, where has October gone?!?! The Hostess Appreciation Luncheon is a week from Saturday! (If you think you should have gotten an invitation and HAVE NOT, please let me know!)
We've been on the road - with Kenn's birthday last week, teaching, and being gone until last night, I don't know what I'm doing or where I am.... :D It's time to teach again tomorrow!
Anyway. :D Here's today's sample; it's #4 of 5, I THINK, of the colorblock cards.
Isn't this a FUN card?!?! I really like it - and SO simple!
The colors are Tempting Turquoise,Whisper White, Marina Mist, Bashful Blue, Pacific Point, and Pool Party. The medallion is made with the Tiny Teacup stamp; I just love that stamp. It's really versatile, and so fun! That's the 1-3/8" circle punch, and the scallop circle punch for the medallion. Ta da! :D
OK, I'm off. I have to work on the luncheon plans, and write a sample speech to show my class how to do what I'm looking for! :D Have a WONDERFUL day, and be sure to take the time to stamp something!

P.S.
Don't miss out on the INCREDIBLE things going on with Stampin' Up! this month - there are three new buttons on the top right-hand side of the page!
Blah....
I'm here - just way overdid it on Monday, and haven't felt like doing ANYTHING the last two days - and spent this afternoon running around. This morning? We set up an etsy store! It's got both prints and handstamped items; you can find my etsy store here; we're just getting started. :D
ANYWAY. Here's a quick share - I'm waiting on the girls for tonight's Holiday Quick Card Class!
This is double embossing; if you do a search online, you can find how-to. This is the stripes and antique wallpaper embossing folders. The colors are Chocolate Chip and Pink Pirouette; other accessories are the oval punch, the corner rounder, and scalloped oval punch; I used a little Chocolate Chip and Whisper White inks to highlight the embossing. It's an easy way to get a great, distressed look!
OK, it's three hours after I started this. We've had class and everyone's gone again. :) I hope you've had a great day, and will have a wonderful Thursday! Be sure to make the time to STAMP something!

Yes, I've been AWOL again!
I got SERIOUSLY wiped out from being gone all weekend last week, then jumping into real life with both feet. I just couldn't get ahead of myself! I'm still behind - I made a to do list for today, and spent half my day doing things for other people! LOL! But that's LIFE, right??
So, I'm here tonight to show you a project from last week's Fall Stamp Camp. This is the fourth year we've done a framed shadow box with a Decor Element on it; this is the LARGEST, because that's the only size Stampin' Up! came out with it this year. It's LARGE - but I really love it!
The background? It's the brown paper that orders come packaged with! We treated it to some TLC, and I just LOVE the way it turned out!!! I love the scarecrow with the "happy heart"; it just SO fits to me. :D I love fall!!!
OK, I'm outta here. It's late, and I'm working on the late Twelve Weeks release, too. I've got to write it up, and decide on what this week is going to be: do I do only ELEVEN weeks, or do a simple one for this week??? :D Dilemma! :D

Friday, and it's MDS Day!
So, I've told you I'm making Kenn a scrapbook for this year's anniversary. This is one of the pages in it - and it's one of my favorites. :) So, enjoy - and if you're not even thinking about MY DIGITAL STUDIO, I HIGHLY encourage you to do so!!!!!
Have a wonderful weekend! I'll see you on Monday! And don't forget to MAKE the time to STAMP something!!!

Thursday, and I don't feel like sharing! LOL!
But I will. I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed right now, getting ready to leave again this weekend for the women's retreat, cleaning - HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - the studio and making a bigger mess than before, stamping for October's classes, dealing with a growth spurt in our ministry, and just trying to keep it real. :D SO. Here is today's share - after TMI already. :D
So, it's another of the colorblocked cards - and I really love the Autumn Splendor set! It works so nicely for fall - or for green leaves, too. :D
Let's see. Colors are Always Artichoke, Certainly Celery, Lucky Limeade, Old Olive, Whisper White, and Pear Pizzazz. The "hello" is from Pendant Park. Super simple, but wouldn't it be fun to get this in your mail???
OK, I'm off! Trying to find my head and at least keep it around tonight. :D Have a wonderful evening - and be sure to take the time to STAMP something!

It's Wednesday, and today's a TJ share!
Good morning! It's a beautiful day here in middle Tennessee again; it's getting too warm for me during the days, but there are rumors it's going to be really cool this weekend. :D I'm going on a women's retreat with my church this weekend, so I would LOVE it to be cool enough to enjoy outside! :)
ANYWAY. Today's share is FAUX TILES from Technique Junkies; we did this for an Advanced Techniques class. JUST before the Simply Scored was released - and how EASY this is with that wonderful tool!!!! I'll show you what we did to the inside, too. :D
Card stock: Very Vanilla, Riding Hood Red, Early Espresso
Ink: Early Espresso, Soft Suede, Riding Hood Red
Stamp sets: Medallion, Tags Til Christmas, Many Merry Messages (inside)
Accessories: designer label punch, stampin' sponge, dimensionals, Snail
I really like this card; the medallion stamp makes a great almost Victorian feel to cards. It's simple, pretty, and elegant. In my very humble opinion, anyway. :D
OK, I'm outta here! Lots of designing to do! :) Have a WONDERFUL day, and be sure to take the time to STAMP something!!!!
(Don't forget: you can click on any picture to see the original size!)

3D MANIA!!!!
We had a great time Saturday, with FIVE projects that were anything but a card. Here's one of them - SO fun!!
There are several patterns on the Web for the shoe. We used Sahara Sand card stock, and embellished it with the red glitter paper from Stampin' Up! Is it not just too cute for words??? Imagine making these for a party favor - if you're a Red Hat member, try it with Concord Crush and the red glitter paper - AWESOME. :D Get even more glitzy with Basic Rhinestones and/or Pearls all over! :D The possibilities are endless!
OK, I'm off - it's Bible Study day! Have a WONDERFUL day, and be SURE to take the time to STAMP something. You'll feel better. :D

The last Monday of September 2011!
Where has this year gone? Is it just me, or has time flown? So many activities this year, so much gone past so quickly. And now, we're on the downhill run to CHRISTMAS! :D
Anyway. :D Here's another card from the last Quick Card Class; the Holiday Quick Card Class is coming up soon! Let me know if you want to come!
Card stock: Very Vanilla, Pumpkin Pie
Ink: Pumpkin Pie
Stamp sets: Four Frames, Teeny Tiny Wishes, Word Play and Tiny Teacup (inside - see below!)
Accessories: Take a Sip Stampin' Around Standard Wheel, designer label punch, Pumpkin Pie 1/4" grosgrain ribbon, dimensionals, Snail
It's really cute IRL. :) Just a cheery, love ya kinda card. :) Change the colors, and you change the whole feel of the card! Add some color to ONE of the cups; add a knot of ribbon, punch out the saying and pop it off the frame - you've got LOTS of options! Here's what we did on the inside:
Again, change up anything on the inside, and change the feel! :)
OK, I'm outta here. Have a WONDERFUL day - and be sure to take the time to STAMP something!

It's FRIDAY!!!
I bet you're all happy as can be. :D It's a cool FALL day here - I can't wait for the colors to become vibrant. :D The dogwood in our back yard is starting to get a few really red leaves on it; I love sitting at my desk and watching the colors change! :)
Today's share is from the last Quick Card Class; I really, really like this sympathy card! Both the inside, AND the outside. :D
Stamp sets: Teeny Tiny Wishes, Day of Gratitude, Blessings from Heaven
Card stock: River Rock, Early Espresso
Ink: Versamark, Early Espresso
Accessories: Big Shot, Stripes embossing folder, dimensionals, clear embossing powder, embossing buddy, heat tool, Snail
And here's the inside of the card....
There's something about the color combination that's quite soothing, don't you think? It was an easy quick card!
OK, I'm outta here. 3D Mania tomorrow! :)
Have a great day! Be sure to make the time to STAMP something!!!

Wow! Where is this week GOING???
Can you believe it's Thursday already? Tomorrow's school again. Time is FLYING by - next week marks the end of September! And I just got out my personal fall decorations; the downstairs has been done for over a month, because of Mom and Dad's trip. Soon, it will start turning into our Christmas wonderland. I can't WAIT! :D
OK. Back to reality. :D This is the gift I made for my new hostess last weekend, using Lisa Somerville's template on Splitcoast Stampers. (Lisa is INCREDIBLY talented; she used to be a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, and you will be amazed if you go look at her blog or gallery!)
I LOVE this teacup stamp! I didn't ink the "hello" at the bottom - and it doesn't look that crooked IRL. :D It's TINY TEACUP, a single stamp. Very versatile, a great size, and I love polka dots. :D
Let's see. I used Tempting Turquoise, Lucky Limeade, and Daffodil Delight ink, Whisper White and Real Red card stock, and the ticket corner punch. Add a little Real Red grosgrain ribbon with a glue dot, and voila!
OK. I'm outta here. The studio is a MESS, and I have a class on Saturday - it's 3D Mania!!!!!!! :D Have a wonderful day, and be SURE to take the time to STAMP something!

SQDC Card!
Good morning! (Yes, it's still morning my time! :D)
I've been hard at work today, and have a story to tell you about this card - which I designed with the Stampin' Queens Design Challenge sketch. (If you do the challenge, I'd LOVE to see your card!!!) So, let me show you the card, then tell you the story. :) (Don't forget! You can click on the image to see the original photo size!)
So. Most of you know a few things: that Kenn and I celebrated our 15th anniversary on the 7th, that Kenn used to work at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel, and that we *are* Heavenly Perspective Photography. :)
Well, because of a few things that have happened recently, and because of some work Kenn did for the Hotel before the flood, we were gifted with our anniversary dinner at one of our favorite landlocked restaurants, The Cascades. (The website will say "American Cafe" after the name, but they're really focusing on being a seafood restaurant - and you KNOW we are picky about our seafood!!!)
We had an AMAZING experience. The wait staff was wonderful - some of them remembering us from when we did lots of work there - and the food was great. We were treated like royalty, and it really made our anniversary something special. When you go, try the lavender lemonade. Simply lovely!
So. Here it is, two weeks later, and I haven't been able to come up with a unique-enough thank-you note for the person responsible for gifting it to us. Until the sketch came across my email today! I decided to use one of our appetizers - fried green tomatoes on shrimp romelade sauce with greens and crabmeat on top - as the central image. We took pictures of every dish; I thought this one had some great texture and variety of color in it, so there we go! :D
The base of the card is River Rock, run through the Big Shot with the Stripes embossing folder; the Pumpkin Pie squares are embossed with the Antique Wallpaper embossing folder. It's pretty straight forward; I took off one tiny layer from the sketch. This is more layering than I usually do, anyway! But I think the card turned out great! What do you think??? I haven't heard from anyone but Ginny in FOREVER - but I KNOW you're out there. We're almost at 25,000 blog hits!!!!!!!!!!!! :D
OK, I'm off. I'm stampin' my little heart out today - I sure hope YOU take the time to STAMP something, too!!!!

Good morning!
How are you today?? (Aren't you surprised to see me so early??? :D) Today's Bible Study day, so I thought I'd TRY and get this out to you before I left. :)
Today's share is from the last Advanced Techniques; there's a second card, too, that came from my first attempt at the technique. :D It's a Technique Junkies technique called SPRAY AWAY.
The colors on this are Early Espresso, Cajun Craze, Very Vanilla, and Pumpkin Pie. My circle still wasn't perfect on the second attempt - my mask didn't stay where I put it too well! And I can't outline a perfect circle, either. LOL!
The next photo is the inside of this card; I really like the "Grateful Greetings" saying!
And if you keep scrolling....
You'll eventually see the outside AND inside of the other card I made a "mistake" on. Of course, there ARE no mistakes in stamping, only opportunities for embellishment - or, in this case, for a whole new idea to be born! :D
OK, I'm off! Lots to do before I leave. :) Have a WONDERFUL day, my friends, and be SURE to take the time to STAMP something!!!!

Happy Monday!
Did you have a good weekend? I sure hope so! I swear, they get so busy these days!!!! :)
Today's share is another of the color block cards; they're SO fun, and have limitless possibilities!
Now, keep in mind that the color blocks on the Whisper White had already been part of a card; I recycled that part, and matted it with a 5.5"x5.5" Baja Breeze card. So the medallion was stamped and embossed on top of the dimensional-ed color blocks - and it looks aged and worn. Works for me!
I stamped the middle part of the medallion in Pacific Point craft ink, and used clear embossing powder on it. I then punched it out using the 2-1/2" circle punch and used another dimensional to raise it even higher! I know the flash made it a bit difficult to see the rhinestone in the very center, but I couldn't get enough detail without the flash.
The other colors are Pool Party and Not Quite Navy. Isn't it a FUN card? If I wanted, I could use one of the TEENY TINY WISHES sayings, and punch that out with the modern label punch and stamp an appropriate wording inside! :) Easy!
OK, I'm off. It's a rainy, beautiful fall day here in Middle Tennessee, and I'm enjoying every moment of it. :D Neither Kenn nor I have to go anywhere, which is a miracle in and of itself. I'm going to do some baking this afternoon, and some more stamping. :D How about you?? Are YOU taking the time to STAMP something?? :)
